Honey you are BOLD ! I grew up being VERY afraid of dead ppl and even though now Iâm not fearful Iâve been curious about what morticians go through now that Iâm in nursing school. Iâve been in emergency situations but not death and this is something that is interesting. Thinking what happens after the patients leave me, after their final moments. Keep it going.
Chile Iâm still afraid. I can watch it all over the internet all the time but me alone touching one? Oh hell naw. I couldnât even do my mom members alone at hers. But she knew me đđso she knew what it was đ. Im only 21 so im sure one day Iâll get over it lol
I did my grandma and it was the best thing I could have ever done. Its was such an honor to take care of her again and for the last time. I felt like i was serving her and pampering her...just making sure she was good. I wiped and cleaned her nose properly, cleaned er ears out. I did her hair too. It helped me heal. I could her her spirit telling me to make her pretty. It was so beautiful.. ill never forget it. I feel like i got an intimate time that nobody else got
I'm saying this as a licensed funeral director myself... I hope you got permission from the family to record and post this both for legal reasons and ethical reasons AND it's all documented and signed. If you didn't, I would HIGHLY suggest taking this down because if the family finds this you could be very well charged with negligence of privacy, loose your license, and get your funeral home in serious hot water with the FTC.
@@thehighpricecollection just looking out for you man. There's hardly enough of us in the Mortuary Sciences as it is. We need every single one of us. When I apply my cosmetics I wipe the entire face down with rubbing alcohol (just to get all the extra gunk off) and then apply a VERY light coating of baby oil. It helps re-hydrate the face and it also gives you a nice base layer to work on so your colors don't go all funky on you. Do you mix your own colors or do you use premixed? Do you an embalm or are you just a cosmetics guy? Not trying to step on toes but if there's a few tricks we can teach each other, who's it gonna hurt right? đ
Thank you yes Iâm always here to network âŠbut Iâve never used any oils only when on the hands âŠI try to stay away from oil based products but Iâm open to lean new tricks
Hey there friend, love your content and the fact you are able to do such an amazing job. Iâm a cosmetologist and Iâve always wanted to do makeup for the deceased but never knew where to start. Itâs a blessing to be able to provide these services to families. Do you have to go to mortuary school? I know every state is different but wasnât sure how to put myself out there as far as qualifying. I just do makeup but I donât have a background in any medical or mortician school.
Why not?? It's educational and a lot of people love to see what happen to their loved ones behind the scenes. Keep doing you and educating the masses!!!! Also, your respect and professionalism is top tier!!!! Blessings!
@@thehighpricecollection thatâs even worse and I donât watch people dying/people being killed on the internet. Let your loved one rest in piece instead of trying to use their death for clout
Thank you I agree. Even though face is partially blocked still show some respect for the deceased. Come on man for views really? If you worked for a known company they would fire you but. Ost likely you are working as 1099.
Cool video. Looks like you really care about the deceased and youâre taking great care to focus on the details. Much respect for that.
