What was your 1992 highlight?
I was born in 1992!
My birth
My 2 sisters birth year :)
Me being born duh! Love your series so much, waited some time for this year to come...
Coming screaming and bloody out of another human being.
I love how you add "commercial breaks" into these videos. Such a nice piece of nostalgia seeing an old advertisement
Insane, I thought the same thing at first commercial!
It's great addition
I got an add immediately after that played
That's one of my favorite bits. I watch old Jerry Springer episodes and like seeing the commercials in those too
I've been saying "feel like chicken tonight" for years and I had no idea where it came from!
They struck gold with the Timeline series.
Having baby
I love it

I haven't seen a bad episode. I have seen a lot of copy cat channels which aren't bad but just don't have that same nostalgic feeling. This should go straight to DVD. I've seen right from the beginning. One of my favorite series.
You know...I had JUST gotten "I feel like chicken tonight" out of my head. It had taken almost 30 years, but I was finally free. Thanks a lot.
What the Cluck, Same!!!
I feel your pain.
Man, no kidding. I hadn't heard that slogan in decades, but as soon as I heard it on here, it was like I was repeating the earworm in my head back when I was a kid.
I'm rewatching this, and just noticed the commercial, and was about to comment the same damn thing. 20 years we tried to forget.... damn jingle...
SMH. I was singing this about a month ago while cooking chicken. And my 15 year old son was like what the hell wrong with you pops😂😂😂
I was graduating from high school in 1992. I remember feeling like the world was mine. Next thing I knew it was 2020 & my knees won't let me jog across the street.

I graduated high school in May of '92. I then got in a car with 2 friends and we spent over 3 months traveling the US from east to west. Best summer of my entire life.
This should be the next weird history topic. What a cool story
92 was the year I graduated from high school and then I went straight to the US Army.
Dude, if you got pictures I'd love to see a mini documentary about that.
I’m waiting for 1996. The year I graduated and managed to find a job as an international student on an American Summercamp. Though I came out of it with a very difficult to manage sleeping disorder, it’s still one of my most memorable summers 🥰
Also thanks to all 4 of my lovely coworkers. The 2 fellow international dishwashers (mainly lol) and our 2 American cooks 🤗
We gave and we got back. I wanted to go the year after that but was glad I couldn’t due to university. They had decided to suddenly hire 5 in a new modern kitchen (we had old stuff, no sprayers, sinks that drained into a tub 🛀 in the basement which overflowed if you forgot to clean out the sift-thingy. Which meant a flooded basement to mop lol.) It was nothing but trouble. Bickering, slow blabla. No, I’m good with my memories despite getting out of it with my sickness. ❤️
That sounds dope.
YOU NEED A CZcams OSCAR FOR THIS SERIES!
Ain't that the truth. These videos seem like they should be on an actual cable channel or something.
@@rgeiler7627 Man I sit back, get me a drink, light a smoke a just reminisce on the last great decade

Haaaaaay! Kindergarten class of '92 rules

The summer of ‘92 was the first time I fell in love.
Me too! My true love still know him after 30 years, we just grew apart because we were teens.
Lol for me it was in 91 but it didn't last long.
How many more times since?
I got out of the Navy in 1992, and turned 21. The 90’s was a good decade.
I got out of the Air Force in '92 and started college.
Depends on where you were. It was an ok decade for me, growing up in the projects wasn't that great. Gang violence wasn't good at all in my neighborhood. Everything actually got extremely better during the 2000's.
I joined the Air Force in ‘92... I wouldn’t get out until 2016.
No it wasn't.
It really was. The calm before the storm so to speak. Pretty much the last decade before the nation REALLY started crumbling into fractured partisanism and perpetual war (drug war notwithstanding).
Remember when all that seemed like it was the craziest the world could possibly get?
Good times.
Jessica Jujubean You sound very young. Rock bottom is a metaphor. I seriously hope you never hit “rock bottom”. It’s a very depressing and painful way to live. I was there in 2010 and would certainly be dead if I hadn’t changed.
I was 5-6 years old in 92. Too young to pay attention to things going on. Now I see the things going on today is nothing new.
Someday people will be waxing nostalgic about hou simple the 2020s were, give it time
tragedy was apparently invented in the 2020s huh, its not like there were people suffering at that time too
I was 17, a junior in high school. My parents had divorced the year before. I was big into The Doors and Stephen King. Making videos with friends on a VHS recorder. Plus Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and MTV. This is when MTV played videos all the time. That is just a few things I enjoyed that year. What a time to be alive.
The commercials were awesome.

Dr. Dre’s Chronic and the start of Death Row’s dominance. Dre’s start of giving us hip hop legends which started with Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Nate Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and as time went MC’s Eminem, 50 Cent, Game and Kendrick Lamar would also come up under his umbrella.
In 1992 my wife and I were engaged and sophomores in college. Chilling in the grunge age. Life was so relaxed back then . It was a great time to be young.
Wow your really old.

In 92 I was 6. Bobby’s world, life with Louie, teenage mutant ninja turtles, Mario’s world, ren and stimpy. Man those saturdays were worth pouring a bowl of cookie crisps and parking in front of the tv.
And pogs. I remember them fondly.
Loved both " Life with Louie " and " Bobby's World " . I used to watch those shows religiously growing up as an child ( had a crush on that redheaded girl -- Jackie. ) . Sweet memories
I was too... I'm 1986...
I was 21 in 1992 & I watched Bobby's World almost every afternoon.
TMNT first aired in '87 bro.
I wasn't old enough to care when everything surrounding Rodney King happened, but it shreds my soul that in the interim years his tearful plea for an end to the riots has been turned into a punchline.
It's not a punchline for me, it's the way to live. Unfortunately, it seems most things are a punchline nowadays, even love
I didn’t care about that drunk criminal. Typical. They used the same media tactics in 2020
1992 was huge for American basketball: The Dream Team, Jordan's shrug game, Magic's last all-star game, Bird's epic final triple-double, Rodman's 1530 rebounds, Pat Riley's Knicks vs Phil Jackson's Bulls rivalry begins, Laettner's perfect game w/ iconic buzzer beater, etc... Not to mention Michael Jackson's "Jam" music video.
It was also a great year for dialogue in Hollywood films w/ the releases of Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs", Aaron Sorkin's "A Few Good Men", & David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross".
Glen Garry Glenross..what a movie, an acting masterclass
I turned 29 in 1992, and I've had that "Chicken Tonight" song cross my mind at odd intervals ever since then. Half my life...I guess that means it was a successful jingle.
I too was 29 that year. Very memorable time😌
That stuff was nasty tasting
1992 - 24, young, crazy, in a lot of debt, a young family with a child. But was that all a million miles ago. When people ask if I'd ever go back in time, I just say no. I have CZcams to relive any memories I want and no debt, adult kids, and the path I could only dream of back in those days. But the Chicken Tonight commercial was fun to relive again.
I wasn't born until 98, but I wish I could take a time travel vacation to the 80s and 90s. I'm big on the vintage culture
@@SkinnerNoah It was very overrated. in 92 I was 13, just imagine being a teenager with almost no cable tv to speak of, basically no internet (we had bbses, but they were slow and you were considered a genius if you could access them), no video games, no unlimited long distance (even if your friend lived a few towns over, calling them could cost 20 bucks)... Like a road trip, you had maybe a walkman to keep you occupied if you were lucky. We absolutely wanted summer to end just to have something to do again. Growing up in the 90s was painfully unbelievably boring most of the time.
Also, there was a lot more blatant racism and homophobia. Remember: this was the tail end of the d&d satanic panic era. Rock music caused you to worship the devil. My step-mom threw away all of my magic the gathering cards because "pretending to do magic is devil worship".
@@IAmAnEvilTaco This comment makes me real happy to be a teen right now. I've always thought that the 80's or 90's would be the best time to grow up and although there are some pros, I've never given any thought to the cons.

1992 was a real crossing year for me. I ended 6th grade and entered 7th grade... 7th grade was when I found out how sugar was bad for you besides rotting your teeth... that cute sprinkly white stuff you used to layer on top of your raisin bran before school suddenly had a darker truth... and I learned about placebos/"sugar pills" which I didn't get at the time to confuse things further... 6th grade, last year of childish elementary... 7th grade, first year of being forced into terrible teenhood... AND I went to school near Seattle that autumn, so in December, we had heavy winds for days, then a giant snow storm, which wasn't anything like the cute sprinkly white stuff that I got to play in. So fall of 1992 was the year that forced me to grow up real fast... at the age of 12 1/2. Also had to give up my fandom of the TMNT, since my older brother got strange looks at that school the year before, wearing a Turtles shirt. Yeah, throw in Rodney King, Cop Killer, and Mortal Kombat, and 1992 was DARK. Oh yeah, it was the year I found out I was gay. Gay at 12 in a small town in 1992. Lots of fun.
I'll _TRY_ not to discuss 1993, but 1994 was better for me.
A few corrections, comments, and missed opportunities:
*Woody Woodpecker was only voiced by Mel Blanc once. Later voice actors:
++Danny Webb (1941-1942)
++Kent Rogers (1942-1943)
++Ben Hardaway (1944-1949)
*Imagine all the history they could have made if Beauty & the Beast won instead of that Lamb movie.
* 15:02 - the first nail in the coffin
*October 1992: Mortal Kombat in the arcades, which got parents talking, of course.
*November 1992: Disney's Aladdin, and the controversy with Robin Williams at the time.
I just love these episodes of Time Line! Keep up the great work!

It's a little harder to find but you have to keep hope. I know this is cliche to say, but if you are depressed, please try to find help. If the help you find doesn't seem to be working, keep looking. Time passes, things change and the world goes in circles. If the world can't be at peace, then you need to find a place, no matter where or how small that can give you peace. Love yourself and know that you are worthy of the peace you need.
I really REALLY love this series. I look forward to each episode so much.
1992 was the year to grow up in. Oh boy! SNES vs Sega... Mortal Kombat Monday, and everything else featured here. 🥰Andrew really did a number on us South Floridians, but nothing like what had happened to the people of Boward County. They were lucky in the sense that there were organizations and good people to help the survivors. Those of us in Dade had nearly two whole months without electricity... my brother went through allergic reactions that nearly took away his hand, I was going through heat strokes that could've taken my life and my sister had an infection of the throat and lungs. Bitter sweet times the early 90s were. 😱You had to been there to know the full story of these events. We are thankful of these treasured time capsule videos that bring back most of those memories so that those of us who actually been there could tell our side of things to get the full story.
