I’ve been saying this repeatedly, but if Lebron TRULY wants to win another championship; he will come back to the Eastern conference and/or the Cavs. If he doesn’t care about winning, he will finish his career as a Laker 🤷🏾‍♂️

Greenys comment at the end is wild, "When Lebron was carrying all those bad teams to finals he didnt have to play the bad boy pistons...". In 06-07 the Pistons starting 5 was Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Chris Webber. He singlehandedly dominated them in 6 games. People forget how good that pistons team was apparently.
I myself also watched Jordan growing up, and the level of competition back then is no where near as good as it is today. Tons of expansion teams, defensively you could hand check, camp in the paint, bigs didnt shoot 3s etc.

Finally someone who makes sense. These old heads will never agree that their generation isn't the best. And in 20 years from now players will be better than they are today or just far more evolved. Jordan's day had guys like bird and Ewing that was the greats of that era.

@pess4643 nobody is saying they was as good as them but they was still a good team and to act as if lebron went against some scrubs his career and jordan played against far better competition is just an ignorant statement. Watch the film of Patrick Ewing or Lary bird and then watch the film of the celtics or golden state in their prime during the lebron era. Jordan was ahead of his time for sure but he played against guys that was relics of a past generation on a team of HOF players for their generation. Lebron james in his prime could beat any player 1v1 and nobody will ever convince me otherwise. At least not until the next great comes alive. Could it be Wemby? Maybe he's the next evolution of the game. The 7 footer with handles and a nice jumper that can shoot 3s or maybe the next one isn't even born yet. Either way there is a case to be made for both of them and honestly it's all subjective anyway because there is no way of knowing. I feel like the Jordan camp fan boys are always so aggressive with the "your dumb I am right" attitude. When there is plenty of evidence for both to make a claim.

    LeBron should either:
    1) Finish career with AD and Lakers
    2) Opt in & sign-and-trade to PHX for Beal and picks
    3) Opt in & sign-and-trade to Dallas for Hardaway, Kleber, Green, picks
    4) Opt out and sign with Philadelphia for max
    5) Opt out and take a paycut to join Philly with another star
    6) Opt in & sign-and-trade to GSW for Wiggins, Moody, picks
    7) Opt in & sign-and-trade to NYK for Randle, Bogi, and picks
    8) Opt out and sign with OKC
    9) Opt out and sign with Spurs
    10) Opt in & sign-and-trade to Cleveland for Garland
    My opinion:
    - If he wants to make the most money and focus on his son & buying a Vegas team, Stay with Lakers.
    - If he wants to have the best storybook ending to his career, play with Bronny in Cleveland.
    - If he wants to WIN, do one of these:
    1) Opt into contract, sign-and-trade to Dallas for Josh Green, Maxi Kleber, Tim Hardaway Jr, and picks.
    2) Opt out of contract, take a paycut, sign with Philly & bring Paul George, Pascal Siakam, DeMar DeRozan, or OG Anunoby.

Greeny… Lebron may not have beaten the bad boy pistons but he did go through a Pistons squad that was tough as nails, a Boston team that was the big 3 in their late prime, prime Dwight Howard, a very underrated wizards team , and you can’t talk about D Wade and Bosh teaming up and being too much without acknowledging that before they played with each other, they had to battle. It’s not like the league was that bad. When you talk about Jordan you bring up the pistons and the Celtics in the East but who else? That’s the issue I have with the argument. A lot of times we forget the nuance. MJ is still the greatest for things not mentioned but can we stop discrediting Lebron or minimizing the league to prop Jordan up?

@@TerryAlan-bh8bc it would be a multi team trade. The east has 1 good team that’s Boston every one is interchangeable. Lebron is not winning anything out west. I am a heat fan who wants to trade jimmy for picks in retool because we have had a nice run in the weak east. Cavs have not them getting to the efc would be great. They tanked for Orlando to get to the 2nd round for Mitchell to stay

LeBron made all NBA in every season other than his rookie season (20 out 21 seasons) which is a record. His other accomplhments include 13 times first team all nba, no other player was first team all nba that many times. He was rookie of the year, a 20 time all-star game starter, 4 time league MVP, 4 time NBA Finals MVP, he won 2 Olympic Gold Medals and is going for his 3rd Gold Medal this summer. He is the NBA all-time scorer with 40,474 points, he is 4th all-time in assists with more than 11,000. He is the only player in history to score more than 30,000 points while also having 10,000+ rebounds and 10,000+ assists. I have run out of superlatives to describe his career, saying that LeBron is the GOAT seems like an understatement at this point. I call him the Unicorn because LeBron's accomplishments deserve a category of their own. Let people debate the GOAT with people other than LeBron because LeBron has exceeded GOAT status and is on his own mountain.

    2. Lakers lost because they don't have height; Cavs have twin towers.
