A shiba that can obey for 30min straight AND with a full crowd cheering them on? JSR and PB are meant for each other.
Shoutout to the crowd for going absolutely insane - the guys in the front row hugging at the walk off HR like their team just won the World Series. An all time run.

I was in the room! I didn't even hear JSR say "That's out!" because I knew immediately and was on my way out of the chair. Absolutely incredible night.
I was asleep in my hotel room and woke up disappointed I missed the run
I didn’t know this run was happening and saw the stream room completely full. I asked the person who was checking badges who was speedrunning next, and he replied “a dog.” I had to go in and see for myself, and even in the very back row it did not disappoint. PB is the best boy, and this is easily in my top runs I’ve seen live!
I'm a 45 year old man sitting here crying because a dog hit a walk-off HR in Super Nintendo baseball. Thanks JSR and PB!!

That energy from the crowd during the homer was exactly like inside a ballpark during a real game of baseball. A dog has garnered just as much interest in his performance in Ken Griffey Baseball as most MLB teams do lol. This was such a great run! That is easily my favorite moment in GDQ history, just a great moment all around!
As a Mariners fan, this one was of the best games they've had in a long while!

The way the tension in the room kept building, then when PB had the water break at 29:52 there was real suspense in the air. Man what a run, incredible to watch live

This is arguably the greatest run I've ever seen at a GDQ event. You couldn't write a better ending then a walkoff homerun win in extra innings no less. What a good boy!
Literally waited to watch this all day and was not disappointed. Absolutely amazing. Shout out to JSR and Peanut Butter. It's so cool to see how deep PB's trust goes - he performed so well for being in front of a large crowd. Absolutely one of my fave runs ever.
You couldn't have written a better script for this run if you tried. What a game!

This is genuinely one of the most impressive feats of dog training I've ever seen. Their bond is amazing and beautiful, this only works because of how much Peanut butter trusts him. Having a dog do this at all is difficult, and in front of a very enthusiastic crowd. And best of all, a Shiba Inu is just about the last breed anyone would recommend for such a thing. Truly beautiful. :)

the only thing that brought me nearly as much joy as seeing that dog play (and win) the game was the fact that we snuck a blaseball reference into the lineup. for those in the know - that is our catboy malik destiny playing alongside the goodest boy. shoutout to the person who put the name in because i yelled when i saw it show up in the tracker 💜⚾

My favorite run ever at GDQ. That ending was amazing!
Just something coincidental to note: Nintendo used to fully own the Seattle Mariners via majority stock. No, seriously. They even had a 3DS app that acted like a prototype version of the Ballpark app for the stadium. They've since scaled back their ownership and only own a bit of stock in the team so they're not majority owners anymore, but it does track with NoA's HQ being in Washington state (and only a 20 minute drive between them).
I don't know if this game lets you pick your team, but if it does, I wouldn't be surprised if that's why JSR chose that team.
Their home ballpark also used to sell an exclusive Seattle Mariners-themed DS Lite which is worth just shy of $500 according to PriceCharting and nearly $1900 if it's still sealed.

I wasn't able to fully watch PB's run last night due to wearing noise-blockers once folks started using fireworks in the neighborhood, so I'm INCREDIBLY HAPPY that this was posted in full on youtube after the fact!!! Time to show this to my dog, Pippin, as an inspirational movie for him.
