Saw this video in recommended so I had to watch. For me, "A Thousand Words" concert in the game is the best scene. Makes me cry every time I see it. So glad you got to experience it.
Personally, I really loved this game. The vibe was very Charlies Angel esque to me, at the time. The combat was fast-paced, the dressphere system was fun, the side stuff was fun. The story wasn't even that bad, the mystery was certainly thought provoking when I was playing the game blind. Idk, I enjoyed the game. When I play X, I always play this right after.
I feel like X-2 exists solely to give Yuna happiness after the trauma of her pilgrimage and for that reason alone it’s one of my favorites. She deserved the happy ending!!
She had her youth robbed from her; it's entirely fitting for her to want to enjoy life a little. As someone once said: "We saved the world; I say we party."
Interesting I would say the fact they made an entire game to force a perfect Disney happily ever after is a TERRIBLE choice and completely takes away from the amazing bitter-sweet writting of 10. Not all stories need perfect fairy tale endings. 10s ending was perfect. A perfect blend of sorrow, happiness, hope, stress, relief. When I was 13 and I first beat 10 I was begging for a sequel to find that happy ending. Then when I grew into adulthood I realized that was just the thoughts of a foolish kid with no life experience. Accepting loss and finding hope amongst sadness is life, and its something 10 demonstrated perfectly, and 10-2 stole from that.
What I love most about 1000 Words is that the Yuna/Lenne duet was added in the overseas version. In Japanese it cuts back and forth between the two between camera angles, they're never shown in the same frame.
Nothing compares to seeing someone witness the beginning of X-2 for the first time. Your reaction had me cracking up. But for real, thank you for giving this game a chance. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Daigoro is probably a reference to "Lone Wolf and Cub" about a ronin traveling japan with his only remaining son. Dai means "big" or "great", Goro means "fifth son". In 10-2 the dog she uses is actually called "Kogoro" Ko meaning "child" or "Son of" So it would seem Kogoro is the son of Daigoro who was the "great" 5th child.

A thousand words is still in my playlist up to this day. The original mp3 file that I downloaded 12 years ago using youtube converter is still within my phone's memory card alongwith Eyes on Me and Melodies of life. Me and my siblings sing along when I play it in the car 😭😭😂 I slowly added in My Hands And New World from FF13/13-2 when the games came out. Then thw new version of Stand by Me from FF15 and my newest one is Hollow from FF7REMAKE. I consider it a collection now.
X was one of my favorite game experiences of all time and X-2 was the first game I remember being hyped for its release. I really enjoyed it then and it still holds a special place for me now. Honestly no one should ever make you feel bad for what you did or didn’t experience in a game. Getting the 100% ending for X-2 remains one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in a game and honestly getting platinums in Bloodbrone and Elden Ring were incredibly easier than the 100% ending in X-2. Kinda still get nightmares when I remember back to what I had to do for that. But I’m glad to see another person enjoy this game, it gives all the characters who went through the events of X a happy ending and kinda almost has an epilogue vibe to it.
X-2 is AMAZING! Fast paced, fun, full of action and a dynamic class system, freedom to approach the world and quests as you see fit. And it was SUPER flamboyant, girly, over the top and at times super camp. All the things life needs!! ❤️
Getting 100% in-game (not trophies, the actual 100% mechanic) is SO difficult and time consuming. I've done it once, never again. 🤣🤣 I love this game so so much, it's so fun
The one thing that i loved about this game was the battle mechanics so much fun but also i love the fact that they made these three women like the Charlie’s angels of final fantasy it was epic!!
Everyone says they wish for any potential x3 to be jecht braska and Auron, meanwhile I want that 95% scene with Rikku to play out and we get a game for her.
Absolutely no problem with people not going for 100% in X-2 as it takes like 2 full playthroughs minimum, Just glad to see someone actually uploading a reaction to it at all as it is still a great game but most people don't try it.
29:10 Frankie, I love what you said here, I never thought about it this way. I always figured grief was just... you know, pain. But that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for presenting that perspective.
I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE YOUR VIDEOS. i literally spent 2 weeks watching all of your ff gameplay. I laughed with you, angry with you, cried with you. It was a really wholesome experience. Thank you frankie, I'll look forward to your next gameplay!!!
I love X-2 because it's all about a world coming back from tragedy and finding their own way to live after living with Sin and the spectre it's hung over their heads for so long. It's about people growing past grief and finding the way forward. Such an amazing game.
Watching you enjoy the game the same way I did brings me such genuine joy. I fell in love with this game when it launched, and knowing younger thoughtful people like you share my experience further strengthens my love for this game. Quite frankly, all I want to do now is play through this game again for the 20+ sometime time 🤣
Not watched the video yet but I just wanted to say how happy I am to have found your channel Frankie! It brings so much joy to this broken down old millennial to see the games that shaped who I am as a person being so enjoyed by the younger generation. Not just that, you just seem like such a wonderful, chill person. Thanks for being you homie, much love from Scotland
I literally lol'd multiple times throughout this vid. I enjoyed FFX-2 a lot too, though I fully understand why some people got whiplash from the extreme tonal shift from FFX.
It was jarring to me at first when I played it as a new release... but part of me was super happy to have a really unique game to play. There's no other game quite like X-2 out there. It stands on its own with such a unique style and tone.
I genuinely enjoy X-2 as well. The story definitely DEFINITELY has some flaws. But overall I enjoyed it :) The audio drama and novel on the other hand..🤮 Glad you enjoyed it too! I’m going for my 100% on ps5 right now lol
It always happens like that. A new FF releases, another group harrasses it, 10 years later it becomes a fan favorite masterpiece/good game. The FF fanbase is super fickle. Pair that with haters that come out of the woodwork to hate it just because and it sucks. Social media is a poison. Why can nobody just use their own mind to play and just to have fun anymore? No FF is gonna be the same as the last. Just like/accept them for what they are and have fun instead of boycotting/sign petitions. While you hole up and not play anything new, I'll be having fun. Enjoy your misery and I'll see you in 10 years when you like it.
It's really nice to see you get so emotionally impacted by X-2. I've always thought it was the best possible sequel to a story like X, a breath of fresh air after everything that happened while also seeing how the familiar characters and locales have changed. But just because it was all bright and cheery, didn't mean there was no seriousness or gravity to any of the plot. You had kind of a dark and twisted Romeo and Juliet going on below the surface (well, even more dark than R&J). Ultimately though, it all blended together very well. I wish more sequels would take cues from this game's approach.
In that final ending it appears more like what could be the first interaction between the Others, Shuyin and Lenne. Tidus saying "That's not cherishing" hits particularly close vernacularly to "Shuyin", either as a blemished interaction revealed from the first game or an in-depth examination of their arrival to Zanarkand, here it's only the two of them, but Sin's toxin is closest if you remember that they entered Sin's body after defeating Yunalesca and Seymour. Also, Yunalesca was an unsent from as far back as Jecht's pilgrimage, as Seymour may have been.
Highly underrated monologue. I dare say it's better than even her speech to Yunalesca. "No. I don't want this anymore. I don't want friends to die... or fade away. I don't want battles where we have to lose in order to win."
FF X-2 not only has amazing gamplay, but despite some of it's problems with the story i do appreciate how it sort of plays out as yuna both reclaiming the childhood that was stolen away from her by sin but also her dealing with the grief of losing tidus.
If FFX was prime time tv you watched after dinner and couldn't wait to talk about in school the next day, FFX-2 was your Saturday morning special. The whole game was basically left up to how you played it. And the more you played the more episodic it was. Spira and it's characters were actually in your hands to do anything. Change jobs, set up sphere coms, have fun, mini games and still find secrets. Just a whole ass playground with great graphics for back then. The icing on top was a more elaborate back story and earning that good ending. Straight up love this game.
I really enjoyed you playing this. I have very amazing childhood memories, mom has been sick for centuries and final fantasy is the only series she played. When me and my sister were little, we played FFX with her, well she played and we watched. I was told to do the blitball part for her to get bonus items. After she started, friends who also played the game, wanted her savefile, because they never got that far or had troubles and needed tips. So hearing "To Zanarkand" brings me back to better times when she was healthy and back to childhood. I was very delighted when I saw you crying, doesn't make me feel that alone with great memories/experiences :') Sorry for dropping this here. Very thankful for the time machine back to my amazing youth and childhood. P.S.: she stopped playing after 10, she couldn't handle the pain while sitting still because of her injuries. So that was the last game we ever played together. Last time she touched the ps2, to zanarkand played :p (yes still alive and doing okayish) Actually she started ffx-2 for 5-10 minutes so I guess this belongs here :p
Honestly, now that I have had time to really sit on it and think I agree, I really liked the secret ending I thought it was really sweet! But the resolve Yuna has at the end of the 'default' ending was really beautiful to me!
As much as I adore the tragic ending of X, I don't feel the story is complete unless Tidus and Yuna are reunited again. So, the secret ending brings closure to the story in my mind. The default ending kinda leaves open for a X-3.
@@ChaseWSanders why is the story more complete? bringing Tidus back defeats the point of X's ending. X-2's normal ending is perfect and it sucks that it's not canon
This game was really fun and lighthearted and I liked the dressphere system a lot. I was a huge fan of Tactics as a kid so I totally mark out whenever FF returns to a job system.
I played this game after 10 when I was 13 back in 2002. I was SO OBSESSED with it that I hardly ate or slept until I beat it(in 4 days) and I was so dehydrated I had to go to the minor emergency center to get IV saline. OVER A VIDEO GAME! lmao
That is really the only reason I play games, for the story, not the action. When I was a kid, it was different but as a 51 year old, my reflexes are not what they were when I was a kid and I get enjoyment more from story than accomplishments. I used the Codebreaker(think Gameshark) back when I played my first games as an adult(like 15 years after I last played video games), when I bought a PS1 and two games to go with it, back in 2002, Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy 7. Those games hooked me on story but I was too impatient to grind, so I cheated. I used the PS4 Wizard for FFVII Remake last year, same reason, plus have some arthritis in my hands now, so can't fight the Hell House for several hours straight.
@@bamachine we don't judge here, mate. You play how you want 💚 and i'm so happy to hear that even at your age you still enjoy playing video games, especially Final Fantasy games 💚
@@SERENDIPITY-b6e At my age, jeez, j/k. My first console, not counting the Pong console a few years earlier, was the Atari 5200(came out same time as 2600, my mother did not know the difference, less games but better graphics). My next console I owned was over 20 years later with the PS1. I did play on other kids NES, games like Mike Tyson's Punchout and Super Mario.
29:18 "I think grief is a form of love. Unexpressed love." -Frankie Beyond being just a youtuber/streamer, you're a truly beautiful human being, can't describe how grateful I feel for us to share passion for videogames, and how lucky I am for finding you amidst all the shit this world has to offer. You deserve to be even greater than you can imagine, just keep being yourself, the rest will come by it's own. And thank you so much for the playthrough, enjoyed every second of it. ❤
If you haven't already, I'd advise listening to "eternity: memory of light and waves" if you can find the vocal version. Moonbowmusicmovie has a lovely version of it too. Also, each of the YRP has character songs that are pretty good and sung by the Japanese actresses. Paines are cool, Yuna has a beautiful bunch, and Rikku's are cute, but a little depressing translated iirc
I played this game since it came out, and I had no idea that there's a vocal version of "Eternity". What the hell. It's one of my favorite songs on the OST, both the piano and full orchestra/band versions.
@@Acorn_Anomaly I don't think it was in the base game. I'm pretty sure the vocal version of Eternity was one of the two songs that Yuna's VA did as her part of the CDs of character songs that was released after the first version of the game. Might have been in one of the special releases, but can't say for sure one way or the other. I don't think that there's an official English version, and it was released on a CD, so it can be pretty hard to find on CZcams depending on the rights. Very much worth the look if you can find it though!
Small addition as I just looked through my playlists. It's also called "Morning Glow" for the vocal version Kimi e/Kimi he is Yuna's other song and is also beautiful, if rather melancholic Paine has the very cool "Nemuru Omoi" and "Misty Eyed" Rikku has the characteristically energetic "Hadashi no Kiseki" and the surprisingly sad "Without You" (lyrically at least)
Yet another great story from the world of Final Fantasy. The gameplay, story, music and emotions make this one of my personal favorite games. And don't even get me started about the song 1,000 words. Great video Frankie.
Played for the first time back in 2004 (?) and it is still my number one game! Edit 1: The fact that you enjoyed 'Real Emotion' brings me tears of joy! So many people shit on it, but I absolutely love it! Can't wait to see you play this gem !
I remember when I first played the game a few years ago, my sister was watching me play and at the point of 16:47 she chuckled while I blankly waved at the screen. Definetely doesn't pass over ffx as a favourite, but still some great memories.
1000 words and real emotion is certainly the highlight of this game, I have listened to the songs more than once, especially the Japanese versions sang by Koda Kumi (don't know if anyone has told who sings the songs in Japanese and the singer who does it in english) Even Koda Kumi's English version of the songs, the orchestra version of 1000 words. But great gameplay! But I would honestly loved it if Koda Kumi and Jade from sweetbox (that's the singer who did the English version.) would've done a debut on this song.
The intro to this game got me in trouble. I played FF7 and FF8, but when I rented this one, my mom walked in all angry. I told her it was just a game I rented. I also reminded her that Kingdom Hearts, Chrono Cross, and FF8 all began with musical numbers. I had to return FFX-2 immediately. Never got past the stage fight.
@@r.babylon2885 must be hard for her to go out in town or to be interested in any form of art… It’s an attitude quite extreme. Anyway, it’s quite true their outfits are quite sexy and that there is a tendency to oversexualize women everywhere … cause ….it’s money (sad) and cause of patriarcal society (partly) but…. I think there’s worse than FFX-2 girls.. They are maybe sexy, yes, but not vulgar or crude… I’m the first to be annoyed by the way women are always portrayed like if we are just meat… but it’s sad to miss many interesting things just by judging a book by its cover… Sorry for my bad english, it’s not my first language
Do you know what makes X one of the greatest games of all time, even 20 years later it never leaves our hearts? "Someday the dream will end". FFX is a dream. A dream is short and fragile. But because it is short that it is beautiful We appreciate the dream because it is a fleeting thing, we could not grasp it, could not hold it. Happened so fast yet so beautiful, that we crave for it That is the beauty of it! If a dream just goes on forever, what even there to appreciate? Knowing that one day it will end, yet we hold on to it Why would someone turn such a beautiful story into a Disney classic "and they live happily ever after", i will never know
Literally just started replaying FFX-2 myself, this game is so much fun! The job/dress system is amazing and I love all the main characters! Edit: Real Emotion is 100% a bop and I will not be taking questions at this time.
When I first played this as a teen I hated that the "good end" was locked by completion. Replaying it around 30 I actually like the normal ending a lot more. It becomes a journey of loss and acceptance, which I find better personally.
The one thing about this game is I love BOTH endings. I might like the standard ending more where Tidus doesn’t come back, and Yuna comes to terms with her grief in a way but still lives for him. But the special ending is just so cute too
Ahh X-2 Does have a great ending, really adds to X in the end. Just some people couldn't get to grips with the dress sphere's I guess? Glad you played it though and enjoyed it. :)
Well, it was more than the spheres. Pretty much the entire game was different from the original. I can't understand how people don't see that. I mean, they literally changed the gameplay and removed the leveling system.
Oh as someone who played this 8 times now 100% is insane XD you cant speed through or skip any cutscene or it will result in less then 100%, you miss 1 conversation and its less then 100% its crazy
I think the reason why this game scored so low was because there was a very clear tonal shift between 10 and 10-2. 10 was very much about Tidus and events and peril surrounding him and Yuna was very much a secondary character. In 10-2, it's very much marketed to girls, seeing all events from a very female perspective, and it was sort of difficult to understand I also love the fact that everyone in this game, including the military, is dressed as though they've spent the last 15 years in Hawaii
X-2 was actually reviewed quite positively when it came out, and it was a commercial success. The most obvious thing against it was that it was 80% locations & assets from X. But overall, substantially more people liked X-2 than disliked it.
This game came out when I was 6 and was the first game I ever beat, so I have so much nostalgia and love for it. Yuna's progression to the confident and independent young woman she is in 2 is my favorite character arc in the entire series. And my little gay ass spent so much time mastering Leblanc's massage 😆
I played through it like 5 time trying to get the mascot dressphere. I eventually got it, but during those playthroughs, I never skipped 1000 words. Just the right amount of goofy and serious with the battle system being the best atb system in any FF game. It was good. More people should give it a chance.
In investing they say being early is the same as being wrong. Same deal here. The whole girlboss slay queen schtick the game had going for it turned off a ton of people when it came out since peeps were less secure about their emotions back then. but also it doesn't 100% resonate now because of that early 2000s charlie's angels energy it gives off. with a sprinkle of sailor moon. I really love the game. It adds a lot more to yuna's character. She can finally be a teenager since she doesn't have to shoulder the entire world's burden anymore. And if you pick the ending where tidus doesn't come back it turns the story into yuna's journey of overcoming grief and moving on. But ain't nobody wanna see that. It does mean that people saying it ruined X's ending doesn't fly though. Anyway i love the game. The battle system is so good. Love the characters. 1000s words scene might be better than suteki da ne for me. And for the only time ever the english version is better than the japanese one. same for real emotions the song in the opening. the singer killed it. If you haven't watched them yet look up the cutscenes of FFX-2 last mission if you want to be hit in the feels some more. its kind of jarring seeing them for the first time because the stuff they go over in them is so real and unexpected for the game. Like friendships drifting apart and stuff. And it has one of the most beautiful songs in the entire series in it which they never bother to play in the main game. i would say play it yourself but most people do not like the gameplay of last mission. I thought it was ok. But i used a guide.
Were there things you liked more about X-2 than you did with X? I personally thought the battle system and side quests were much deeper and engaging in X-2. However, the story, bosses, and characters of X stood out way more. The music in both games is fantastic, so I have a hard time choosing between both, but I find myself listening to X’s soundtrack more often. Overall, both games are superb in their own way and I’m glad both of them exist!
I couldn't squeeze everything into one video so I did my best!
Next video will be Kingdom Hearts 1!
Stay safe and have a wonderful day everyone✨
Please make KH2 a two-part video. Everything won't fit into one!

I always cry for 1000 words too
Your reaction to Yuna's singing is Amazing ❤❤
1,000 Words was definitely one of the highlights in this game. It was such an emotional scene.
And someone quoting Jecht afterwards was perfect timing
its been almost 20 years since the game came out and i still cry like a baby with that scene no matter how old i am
This comment being made by someone with a doom guy avatar? Blasphemy!!! Emotion? Lol jk
ffx: people die and yuna dances. when will she stop dancing... ffx-2: WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU!
*wah wah wah*
Nice
To be fair, she wasn't herself at that moment in ffx-2...
LMAOOOOOOOOO
thank you for reminding me how x-2 was pretty much the beginning of the downfall for FF lmao.
This screams early 2000's energy and I'm here for it
The sheer fact that Yunas song made the sun come out on the Thunder Plains just says it all 😭
Personally, I really loved this game. The vibe was very Charlies Angel esque to me, at the time. The combat was fast-paced, the dressphere system was fun, the side stuff was fun. Did you notice that Yuna and Rikku use Tidus and Auron's swords for their dresspheres? Yuna even uses Yojimbo's pet dog Daigoro for her Trainer class.
If you notice, Shuyee Blitz Ace Shooting is Wakka " World Champion "
Daigoro is probably a reference to "Lone Wolf and Cub" about a ronin traveling japan with his only remaining son.
Dai means "big" or "great", Goro means "fifth son". In 10-2 the dog she uses is actually called "Kogoro" Ko meaning "child" or "Son of"
So it would seem Kogoro is the son of Daigoro who was the "great" 5th child.
I went 🤯seeing many things from X coming into Play in their Dresspheres. Weapons once only for Yuna, Tidus, and Auron especially had me 😁.
Yeah I noticed that in my recent play through. Pretty cool 😁
Yuna also has the Jecht "J" on her outfit.

It brings so much joy to this broken down old millennial to see the games that shaped who I am as a person being so enjoyed by the younger generation. Not just that, you just seem like such a wonderful, chill person. Thanks for being you homie, much love from Scotland
Funny how ffx and kingdom hearts have the same ending with the main character disappearing and in the sequel they get reunited with their lover
OK but real talk. Yuna needs to drop those tour dates. 🎤💃
But overall I enjoyed it :) The audio drama and novel on the other hand..🤮
Glad you enjoyed it too! I’m going for my 100% on ps5 right now lol
The comment section is refreshing! So happy so see this game get the love it deserves 👏
Always have and always will love FFX-2. Wonderful watching you play Miss Frankie!
I know people bash on this particular Final Fantasy game but i still love it, i call it my guilty pleasure FF game.
Man, it is so bizarre that such a disclaimer is needed. But I am super glad you enjoyed the game :D
my 10 comments section was so deranged about making sure I didn't play it lmao
In that final ending it appears more like what could be the first interaction between the Others, Shuyin and Lenne. Tidus saying "That's not cherishing" hits particularly close vernacularly to "Shuyin", either as a blemished interaction revealed from the first game or an in-depth examination of their arrival to Zanarkand, here it's only the two of them, but Sin's toxin is closest if you remember that they entered Sin's body after defeating Yunalesca and Seymour. Also, Yunalesca was an unsent from as far back as Jecht's pilgrimage, as Seymour may have been.
1000 words, that song catches everyone off first time around. Shame most people don’t hear it because of the games rep.
The only part that is missing where Yuna gives an emotional speech after mentioning Noojs plan sucks 😭
Your face at the beginning of the song!! PRICELESS
This game is a treasure. ^^
I am glad I got to see this and your reaction to it.
Can we talk about how Brother is thirsty about his COUSIN
it's been a lot of years since i've played this game. but its among my favorite games of the series.
I was very delighted when I saw you crying, doesn't make me feel that alone with great memories/experiences :')
Sorry for dropping this here. Very thankful for the time machine back to my amazing youth and childhood.
P.S.: she stopped playing after 10, she couldn't handle the pain while sitting still because of her injuries. So that was the last game we ever played together. Last time she touched the ps2, to zanarkand played :p (yes still alive and doing okayish)
Actually she started ffx-2 for 5-10 minutes so I guess this belongs here :p
I honestly find the "default ending" better than the 100% one.
Honestly, now that I have had time to really sit on it and think I agree, I really liked the secret ending I thought it was really sweet! But the resolve Yuna has at the end of the 'default' ending was really beautiful to me!
@@frankielollia that's my thoughts as well.Anyways I'm glad you enjoyed it
As much as I adore the tragic ending of X, I don't feel the story is complete unless Tidus and Yuna are reunited again. So, the secret ending brings closure to the story in my mind. The default ending kinda leaves open for a X-3.
@@ChaseWSanders why is the story more complete? bringing Tidus back defeats the point of X's ending. X-2's normal ending is perfect and it sucks that it's not canon
@@aeroga2383 It doesn't "defeat the point." Tidus returning was hinted at the end of X.
OVER A VIDEO GAME! lmao
Sad you almost killed yourself over the worst final fantasy game of all time 😂
Bruh youre a hardcore lol
Final Fantasy games are known for its long gameplay and tons of hard and rewarding secrets. It's okay to play it only for the story ❤️
This game was dope glad u liked it too and I'm part of that 0.5 yes took fucking forever 🤘🤘
That song A Thousand Words always gives me goosebumps when I hear it
29:18 "I think grief is a form of love.
Unexpressed love." -Frankie
Beyond being just a youtuber/streamer, you're a truly beautiful human being, can't describe how grateful I feel for us to share passion for videogames, and how lucky I am for finding you amidst all the shit this world has to offer.
You deserve to be even greater than you can imagine, just keep being yourself, the rest will come by it's own.
And thank you so much for the playthrough, enjoyed every second of it. ❤
Love the video at the start. X-2 gets so much hate but I love it so thank you for having our back and not letting anyone hurt us 🙂
If you haven't already, I'd advise listening to "eternity: memory of light and waves" if you can find the vocal version.
It's also called "Morning Glow" for the vocal version
Kimi e/Kimi he is Yuna's other song and is also beautiful, if rather melancholic
Paine has the very cool "Nemuru Omoi" and "Misty Eyed"
Rikku has the characteristically energetic "Hadashi no Kiseki" and the surprisingly sad "Without You" (lyrically at least)
Yet another great story from the world of Final Fantasy. The gameplay, story, music and emotions make this one of my personal favorite games. And don't even get me started about the song 1,000 words.
Great video Frankie.
Played for the first time back in 2004 (?) and it is still my number one game!
Edit 1:
The fact that you enjoyed 'Real Emotion' brings me tears of joy!
That opening gave me so many happy feelings. My friend and I played the heck out of this game as kids ♥
I still listen to the orchestral version of 1000 Words (end credits version) that makes me so sad and nostalgic
But what was the problem with the intro ?? I don’t understand
@@jahanshadi1934 My mom hates anything even remotely sexual. She viewed that intro as sexual because of Rikku's outfit, and Yuna's concert.
They are maybe sexy, yes, but not vulgar or crude… I’m the first to be annoyed by the way women are always portrayed like if we are just meat… but it’s sad to miss many interesting things just by judging a book by its cover…
Sorry for my bad english, it’s not my first language
I looooooved this game back in the day. It holds a very special place in my heart
loved this game and glad you see you enjoyed it as well, 1000 words still once of my favorite songs
I was waiting for this one for a while, ever since you played the first one. That ending i could just see your heart ❤️ expanding.
Do you know what makes X one of the greatest games of all time, even 20 years later it never leaves our hearts?
"Someday the dream will end". FFX is a dream. A dream is short and fragile. But because it is short that it is beautiful
We appreciate the dream because it is a fleeting thing, we could not grasp it, could not hold it. Happened so fast yet so beautiful, that we crave for it
That is the beauty of it! If a dream just goes on forever, what even there to appreciate?
Knowing that one day it will end, yet we hold on to it
Why would someone turn such a beautiful story into a Disney classic "and they live happily ever after", i will never know
Literally just started replaying FFX-2 myself, this game is so much fun!
I'll finish this vid tomorrow but I'm glad you gave this game a chance and that you enjoyed it. Still my favorite FF game!
Love this game and got the secret ending by following the guide, it was awesome :).
The one thing about this game is I love BOTH endings. I might like the standard ending more where Tidus doesn’t come back, and Yuna comes to terms with her grief in a way but still lives for him. But the special ending is just so cute too
I always forget how like…legitimately well-written 1000 Words is. Like that is musical poetry at its finest in pop music.
Ahh X-2 Does have a great ending, really adds to X in the end. Just some people couldn't get to grips with the dress sphere's I guess?
Glad you played it though and enjoyed it. :)
XIII-2 is also fantastic and maybe worth streaming
Well, it was more than the spheres. Pretty much the entire game was different from the original. I can't understand how people don't see that. I mean, they literally changed the gameplay and removed the leveling system.
There has never been a time, not even once, when I heard 1000 Words and DIDNT cry.
Oh as someone who played this 8 times now 100% is insane XD you cant speed through or skip any cutscene or it will result in less then 100%, you miss 1 conversation and its less then 100% its crazy
they dam nearly killed tidus with the ship at the end imagine after all that he makes his way back to her and SPLAT ON THE BEACH the end lol
i loved 10-2 and think it was a cool change from what 10 was as we didnt have summoners anymore it and the dresspheres r fun to get and try out
The sailor moon game...I love the transformations and the battle mechanics! It s one of my favorites jrpgs !
Your reaction to the opening was pretty much identical to mine. Though looking at it now it's got real eurovision vibes.
I think the reason why this game scored so low was because there was a very clear tonal shift between 10 and 10-2.
10 was very much about Tidus and events and peril surrounding him and Yuna was very much a secondary character. In 10-2, it's very much marketed to girls, seeing all events from a very female perspective, and it was sort of difficult to understand
I also love the fact that everyone in this game, including the military, is dressed as though they've spent the last 15 years in Hawaii
X-2 was actually reviewed quite positively when it came out, and it was a commercial success. The most obvious thing against it was that it was 80% locations & assets from X. But overall, substantially more people liked X-2 than disliked it.
Really enjoyed this play through. This game gets far too much hate and I also watched your FF7R vods on twitch and loved your reactions throughout
This game came out when I was 6 and was the first game I ever beat, so I have so much nostalgia and love for it. Yuna's progression to the confident and independent young woman she is in 2 is my favorite character arc in the entire series. And my little gay ass spent so much time mastering Leblanc's massage 😆
love your reactions to this amazing game
Anddddd the ending reaction to Tidus coming back 🔥🔥🔥 love it!
X2 is just a silly spin off but it's incredibly FUN. Honestly probably the best battle system in any FF game.
This game is SO good! I really need to replay this asap!
23:47 we all remember our first 1,000 words. And it's still beautiful
This is genuinely one of my favorite FF games and I'm so happy you enjoyed it! It's such a fun, goofy time and the battle system is my favorite ever.
