Thank you for watching, I started my ff15 journey this year in 2022 after trying to get into it once before last year and leaving it, I really was not expecting to like it as much as I did and I think after this I need to invest in better make up because this game just melted it off from crying so much (nothing new there with me crying all the time but still)

Hey Frankie, hope all is well with you these days. I just wanted to suggest a potential couple video ideas, because I enjoy your content.
There is a great mashup called Dead Fantasy that was created by an incredible battle choreographer named Monty Oum, who brought characters from Final Fantasy and pitted them against characters from the Dead or Alive games. They are fast paced, energized and incredible creations of characters you have fallen in love with doing things only a fan could imagine creating.
Monty was a very talented guy who did accomplish a lot of incredible things. Sadly, he was not able to complete or finalize many of his works as he passed away. But some of his other works survive to this day, one of those being a show called RWBY.
If you ever feel like doing something a little different, these are things that I think you might enjoy, especially as Monty was a huge fan of the Final Fantasy world himself. Either way, I hope all is well. Have a good one!

ffxv literally makes you look through all the photos of you and your best friends at before you die while a sad yoko shimomura piano+violin duet plays and THEN has noctis crying because he's accepted his fate but still can't handle the idea of being separated from his friends and THEN after the credits plays a whistful piano performing the in-game song that only plays at sunset also by yoko shimomura but it's in a major key now because the sun is finally rising after a decade of darkness and the music blossoms into a live orchestral cover of the main final fantasy theme by nobuo uematsu as the now dead noctis gazes upon the picture you picked while he sits by his betrothed who he could only properly reunite with after death and they gently kiss and peacefully rest next to each other in a beam of sunlight and surrounded by flowers and THEN a bunch of wedding bells play in the distance as its revealed that the yoshitaka amano original logo was luna the whole time and after a long lingering moment reveals another yoshitaka amano original of noctis accompanying her and THEN goes to the next menu with the completed logo but instead of a slow sad song at night it's a soft and evenpaced bittersweet piano+strings piece by yoko shimomura yet again and ALSO you can make cup noodles at camp and people will still call ffxv a "bad game"

People only called the game bad because it took YEARS to finally come out and was lacking SO much for how long it took. It wasnt until many updates, patches and dlc later that the game you had was a completely different game from what you bought amd became the masterpiece thatvit is ...AND THEY CANCELED DLC THEY HAD PROMISED WOULD COME OUT (episode aranea) The game could have been even MORE amazing in the end.

    • @everilliem3292
      @everilliem3292 Před rokem +4

Because it is bad, well WAS especially bad on release, majorly disappointing at the time, could of been much more.
It had way more potential and the pacing Is horrible due to development hell, it's thrown together horribly, and can be jarring at times.
Yes many updates did alleviate some of these parts.
While the story is great imo, it's execution was horrible for the most part (having to play a prologue, watch animation, and a movie, just to fully understand the set-up) that's mainly what people are referring to when they say it's "bad" nothing to do with the story, as much as pacing and execution.
The fact they hide story stuff behind DlC too, just no.
Don't get me wrong I enjoy it, but I've not played it more than once, every other FF title I've done at least two runs over the years.
Having a few good directed moments do NOT make up for the many shortcomings throughout the game.
Like I said I enjoy it, and love the emotional story+composing, but as a whole, it fell flatter then it could have.

Thank you for helping me revisit this game. FF15 is very dear to my heart because it came out merely 3 weeks after my dad died of cancer. This game hit so close to home back then. I am so glad when I see people appreciating this game like this. I have a tattoo of the sword of the father (Noctis's dad's sword) on my forearm fading it pixels with the words ''Walk Tall'' written above it. You reminded me of so much emotions I went through because of this game. Thank you! Keep doing what you do! Never getting tired of your playthrough videos!

Its not the same at all but FF15 will always have a special place in my heart because I met a friend thanks to it, he actually replied to one of my CZcams comments about the game and we ended up talking about a lot of things for 3.5 years and became very close. Unfortunately, he died on this day a year ago, he was only 32. So as much as people complain about this game, I will always remember it in a good light for the strong bittersweet ending and all the memories I had with Lance.

That ending. I still remember the first time I've watched it back in 2016. I was still living in my parents house and it was around 3am. I was holding back the tears and was trying to not wake up my parents. Yep, even in its messy vanilla version, I still quite enjoyed the experience. Now, years later. Not only the ending could bring me to tears but a lot of added contents as well. The extended train scene on chapter 12, Episode Ignis, and Watching Ardyn accepting his Usurper status on his own terms.

update: Just finished watching this and my god ive no tears left to cry awhafshfafafgagggg 😭😭😭 i love your playthrough so much, its sooo emotional, perfectly portrays what the game did to me
I played through the game couple months ago after completing FFVII Remake on PC and wow I was NOT prepared for what I got myself into. Definitely one of the top gaming experiences I've had, the characters, the story, the setting, the soundtrack, the world.. it's all so good! There was joy, sadness, anger, all types of emotions. Plot twists and heartbreaks and an ending that I still am not sure if I cried tears of joy or sadness at. As for the gameplay, it was incredibly satisfying, when it wasn't completely broken. The game is definitely very flawed, in terms of performance, mechanics and even presentation at times. But that's what makes it good and memorable - it's not perfect and I love it for that. Really happy to see more people experiencing it, sadly it's a very underrated game in the current era of gaming.
A couple of things worth checking out as well are the Brotherhood miniseries (it's five 10-15 minute episodes telling the backstory of the characters and are definitely really well made) and the voice actors cast vlogs at EXP con 2017, the guys are awesome! And lastly, there's the Kingsglaive movie, though I personally still haven't watched it... oof.

Still not over Noctis dying at the end but that ending with him and Luna marrying at the end took me by surprise and it was so beautiful and I wouldn't stop crying. At first I was like why are they playing Stand by Me at the beginning. Seemed off. But when you played the game and go on this wonderful adventure with them and that ending hits you and they play that song it just so perfect for it and it's waterfalls throughout it all. I will never look at that song the same way again. Every time I hear it I think of FF15. And yep, this game had so many jump scares too. That double Noctis in the car was the funniest glitch. 🤣🤣🤣 But down pack one of my all time favorite games.

I also started and finished the game 2 weeks ago, trully an amazing experience and forever will be one of my fav games ever. Had wanted to play it since day 1 but never got the chance. One of the best story games iv'e ever played in my life. I strive for the Luna/Noctis relationship, pain.

Ok, this may very well be the greatest gaming cutdown video in the history of CZcams. It has everything. Heart, laughs, deep emotional breakthroughs (Prompto at the motel), grief, running gags (FFXV IS A HORROR GAME, #CursedPlaythrough), love and even booba jokes. It truly has it all.

I almost never leave comments, but this is not the case. So, it's 1:00 a.m., getting up at 4:00 a.m., and what am I doing? And I'm watching this video. At first I thought it was nothing special, I'll watch one more walkthrough and that's it, but no, I sat and watched the video from the beginning till the end. You are very emotional, very exciting and pleasant to watch this format, for me it is something new. And of course, by the end of the game, I was sobbing with you into the pillow because of the memories and emotions from the game. The best. I love, adore Final Fantasy XV. But it is so sad... Now my hands are shaking, and the pillow is all wet. Thank you for the memories and great time! Awesome video, looking forward to DLC's. Thank you.

FF 15 is one of my favorite games. You look at any aspect of it in isolation and there are deep flaws, but somehow none of them mattered to me when I was playing it. It just has a vibe to it that is indescribable. Its world is somehow extremely grounded and fantastical at the same time, and has a cozy feeling to it that just want to makes you spend time there. The combat is pure fantasy fulfillment, and all the villages are amazing living places, and the party really sells this feeling of being on a road trip. It really captures the feeling of wanting to live in a moment, and if that moment is spent traveling somewhere, then by definition it is going to end. The time traveling mechanic solidifies this even in canon, noctis is continually going back to a road trip that he know he won't survive.
Plus, no matter the raytracing and gigaflops that more modern games bring to the table, ther is something about the lighting in FF 15 that imo has not been surpassed since. The way bright sunlight is rendered is extremely believable yet still artsy

I’ve got nothing but empathy for anyone who plays this game as it’s an emotional ride that will most definitely make you laugh, feel sentimental, laugh some more, smile, then rip your heart out before it calms you down and tells you it’s okay again in the end. This is the first in the final fantasy series to actually make me cry and I’ve been playing the FF series since 1998 as a kid. I appreciate you uploading this as a reminder of why I only beat this FF once because I couldn’t handle the emotion again lol. FFXV is highly underrated in my opinion due to the bromance and story telling with such a brilliant soundtrack. Thanks for sharing this. Got a laugh since I knew what was coming at the end and felt the same.

Wow what a great playthrough, the video went by so fast! This is probably my favourite FF game ever. I know it isn’t perfect, and lots of people dislike it cause it didn’t meet certain expectations, but despite all that it has a way of hitting you right in the heart. The characters feel so real and fleshed out that sometimes I boot up the game just to “hang out” with the gang again.

I'm 33 and they have always been my favorite franchise. I have so many fond memories of playing 1, 2, and 4 with my dad. Not to mention my youth was a roller coaster and they helped me to get through them by taking me out of reality for awhile. I haven't cried since I was 7, but FF XV was one of the very few things that just makes me so choked up and eyes water. I definitely put it on my top 5 FF games if not among the top 3 :). It's so good in so many ways imho.

I had 3 friends who played this game with me the day it came out. We stayed up over 24 straight to accomplish so much in the game to the point we nearly completed the fishing list. The photo we chose for the end was just Gladio, Ignis, Prompto and Noctis. We all cried manly tears that day. I showed the game to my brother who enjoyed it so much but he didnt take the "final photo" option serious and he chose a photo of the Chonky Chocobo and Noctis in a sombrero; we died laughing to see it later.

It would be in my top 3 FF games if they also let us travel in the world of darkness more with story there, more time with Luna with events in altissia etc. let us travel a bit more free roam on our way to niflheim with events going on with more Aranea Highwind and cor bits and with less "I have a ring and I'm not afraid to use it." Part
