Al Roker defends Kelly Clarkson on weight loss drug confession

Al Roker wants people to lay off Kelly Clarkson and others who have admitted to using weight-loss drugs. Page Six Reality TV Reporter Caroline Blair shares this story.
“There’s too much judgment going on,” Roker said during the “Today” show’s third hour Tuesday while talking about Clarkson’s recent confession that she used an unspecified medication to lose 60 pounds.
“People, as long as they’re working with their doctors and being healthy about it, people ought to just back off and let them live their lives,” he continued.

I'm not sure why people are so negative on why she didn't "admit" that she's on medication. Sad that we can't give celebrities grace where health is concerned.
Furthermore, she said she was pre diabetic then waiting another 2 years before addressing it so, for all we know, she could have become full blown diabetic by then. So maybe she wasn't taking it solely for weight loss but because she needed it medically.
We've all heard of HIPAA - she doesn't need to share her health issues. PLEASE EVERYONE - CAN WE PRACTICE GIVING CELEBRITIES SOME GRACE?
