Can you really blame her though? She's got crappy parents (and YES I'm including Charlie in that following his reaction to Jacob sexually assaulting her daughter) and for the most part crappy friends. Being a Cullen means not only being with the live if her life, but also with a pretty cool family who also happens to be filthy rich. Even taking into account the downsides of being a vampire, from Bellas perspective it's almost a fairy tale. And really when she does change, she still gets to have a child plus she even gets to keep Jacob and Charlie in her life. I think from Bellas perspective she would have sacrificed more by NOT becoming a vampire. Plus, there's the whole part about the Volturi killing all of them too if she doesn't. That's sort of the elephant in the room.

It also gave more insight into how the vampire army came about. Thanks for making this series. It’s been so fun to watch!

For someone who hates twilight, I am surprised that I want to see more jasper and alice. Their stories seem to have more depth that was never explored. Twilight: great Lore and premise but bad execution like almost every YA story.
The side characters and the world she set up are so interesting! It's just a shame that the characters she chose to focus on are some of the least interesting of the bunch.
For Bella it was clearly no big deal. When she's in bed with Edward she practically begs to sleep with him. But when she's in bed with Jacob, she falls asleep. Big difference there.

I honestly never was floored with their chemistry either. I'm not even sure you can fault the actors ... when the majority of their scenes together have Jacob losing his temper and getting her po'ed at him, it's pretty hard to sell them as a couple to the audience.
Between Jacob and Ed, i always liked Jake more. But overall I love Alice and Jasper the most and I wish we got to see more about them and not Bella being a personality-less human
