Yes plz really need help from the beginning, usually that’s what ppl miss when explaining. Like explain what ur trying to enter and how it all works instead of just the “do this to get here”
Thank you Sandra😊 I really appreciate your vlogs. I am currently transition to a new career and I think I want to do cyber security. What makes your vlogs great in my opinion is that you speak from a perspective of someone new to the industry and still learning. I have NO previous experience in IT, and it's really difficult to learn from someone who has been doing this for years. Most people assume you have some knowledge of computers and confuse me tech lingo. I have chosen to go the college route because I feel bootcamp are too fast paced. Hi Sandra, thank you for another honest and helpful video. I am looking to get into the industry by studying for a Master's in cyber sec, following passing Network+ and Security+ for base knowledge.
Should everybody in the cyber sec industry have some experience as a pen tester, or is it not always required? My end goal will probably be to move into compliance and consulting. However, I am not sure if pen testing is seen as something which almost everybody should first do regardless of end goal, or whether it is seen as an entirely separate discipline.
It seems tough to decide on a career path within cyber sec!
