- We had a lovely family night for my eldest sister who is visiting with my adorable baby nephew. For her we prepared some succulent Chinese style whole fried chicken, seasoned simply with salt and Chinese five spice seasoning. We also did our famous roast pork 'Helen style' and fried some cro cro. On the side we had chow mein noodles, French fries, fresh salad and shrimp wontons. Everything was seasoned to perfection and enjoyed with pepper soy dipping sauce.

Finally the gang is all back. Nice to see everybody is healthy again and you all have come through quarantine intact. Vedesh, since you and Kevin did two versions of the pushups, I will say it's a draw. Tip: rub for the Chinese style chicken and pork: ginger, black pepper, soy sauce and a little bit of sesame oil. Try using garlic salt instead in your seasoning and leave the regular salt for boiling rice, pasta and provisions etc. Glad to see that everything is back to normal and everybody is looking well. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one

@@trinilifewithvedesh ok. See if my tip works. I thought David night know that. I am mixed with Chinese on my father's side so my father used to cook a lot of chow mein and roast pork (he used to put a little bit of rum in it too). Lol

Vedesh..the liver like organ that you like to eat is the kidneys..the ones that are attached to the ribs are the lungs. It is all good to eat including the intestines. But we in Trinidad don't eat the intestines/chitlings🙂
