Watch 'Wardens - Episode 10' here: • Wardens | Episode 10: ...
In this episode:
Montana game wardens attempt to track down suspects of illegally killed animals. Plus, one wardens get the opportunity to take a break from enforcing hunting laws to actually go on a mule deer hunt for himself.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

That 13 yo kid was the coolest kid! So sharp and on it, and loves his wild meats more than antlers. Best wishes little dude, and nice take.
That kid is a hell of a hunter and has a great future!! Hats off to he and his friends 👍
Yeah doesn’t let the truth get in the way of a good story!
Right?! Just casually saying he got 20 birds this season lmao
@@smokeymountainstoner2671 wrong guy
“It wasn’t a big safaris or anything like that.” Who says that? If you go on a safari it’s 100% guided😂
Damn i was so hoping he wasn't gonna give those young men a hard time... that's the absolute best possible outcome in my book ! Kids hunting hard and packing out those quarters up the mnt is outstanding! Salute
It sure is.. Good for them.. They're out there, getting after it. Pretty cool to see that.. 🍻
Amazing those young fellows did everything right. I just chuckled as they each came puffing up the trail to drop the meat and then fall to the ground wore out. Made me happy for them. Thanks for sharing
Man those kids made me smile. Great job young men!!
The excitement this kid has about the outdoors is infectious. Wish I saw more kids like this
Absolutely.. 🍻
💪💪💪
What a great bunch of elk hunters, its good to see good friends help each other
It’s good to see kids still out there in the woods
"Oh this is good. This has a high potential for violation." What a strange statement.
He doesn’t seem like a hunter or outdoorsman to me.
No thats a normal statement from many wardens. What makes this a high potential of being a high violation? All he knew is that someone told him that they heard someone killed a cow elk and was packing it out, and then he finds a game cart. Seems very normal to me.
A pigs a pig. Like to make stuff up cause who's gonna call them on being a liar if they are wrong? If someone does they just double down and attack that person in the media.
Ethical young hunters are to be commended. Hope they stay safe and legal..
I can really appreciate you checking that Hole situation out with the Kiddo's packing out an Elk! But it's super cool that you approached the situation the way you did. Good job and thank you for what you do!
He approached it ready to arrest everyone. Then was disappointed when it was looking like everything was legal.

I can see why you think that. But I think that game Warden would be extremely hard to read what he was thinking or wanting to do. If I had my choice of game warden stopping and talking to my son and his friends it would be that guy. He was very good talking with them. He understood that kids that age to them everything is such a big deal. He was great with them! And gave them a ride back out!
Ain't no damn reason to discourage them from doing something all the right way.
Dont be gulible. He knows this is for TV. If it wasnt, he would not of been this nice. He was still grilling the kids praying he would find something. he is exactly the type that give wardens a bad name.
I hate how shows like this bounce between 2 stories. Ever time they bounce back they repeat so much of the same story line. By the time the show is over you watched 5 minutes of footage 8 times over….
28:01 I re-watched this segment like 4 times, and am considering a 4th. Kudos to that officer, and how he handled this situation, was remarkable.
Even though some of you are gonna say, "thats his job".... he did his job, in exemplary fashion!!
Your right, it is his job, but when your starting your investigation and already saying it looks like a good chance to give out some tickets, your in the wrong. If you start your day with a negative attitude, your already a lousy employee.
Thats as cool as it gets, seeing those young boys out there getting it in makes my heart smile. Nice to know there are still some young men out there putting it in.
Way to go warden. Do your job, commend the young men on doing things right, be cool with them about littering, and then give them a ride. That’s how things should go….smooth as butter.
Congratulations to that young man on his elk.
I love those kids, enjoying the mountains, hunting and having a great time, that’s a story they’ll tell the rest of their lives. 👍
Someone give that kid a Hunting TV show .
Good work guys. To the 13 year old, Super JOB. Congratulations.
Congrats to all you guys!Awesome shooting...The warden made a long shot look easy....Its archery season here so the hunt is on...Great job protecting the animals!
I will give a compliment sandwich as Rinella would say... I have nothing but respect for the men and women that serve our outdoorsmen and protect our wildlife. It is such a cool show to watch through their perspective. ... I can not stand the commercial breaks and redundancy in content through out each minute of the show. ... I always wanted to be a warden or some sort of wildlife biologist growing up. I never followed through because I thought it would hinder my ability to enjoy the outdoors as I do now. Getting to see the warden at the end take an awesome muley was fantastic.
“Oh this is good. This has very high potential for a violation”. Ag yes, that’s what we love to hear from a warden. Out to get you
Exactly.
Follow the law, you have nothing to worry about!
its almost like there are rules for a reason.
You guys are missing the point. Law enforcers should be happy to see people abiding by the law, not getting excited hoping they can charge them with something…
@@ethand.7801 wildlife crimes are a big deal. May seem minor but these crimes destroy ecosystems and harm the animal population of course they are gonna be looking for it. One of the greatest features of montana is our pristine habits so we won't let people destroy it. This situation is much different then if it was a city cop then I would agree with you.
Hands down, the best segment I've seen to date with the young gentlemen hunting. Their spirit and taste for adventure brings me back to my youth and renewed my faith a bit more for this new generation of kids. Hats off and congrats on the successful hunt, AWESOME!!!! MADE MY DAY!!!!
The only way I take a animal is I eat everything except the feathers lollllll
That made my heart swell seeing those kids and how it all played out . Thank you to all our protectors of the great outdoors
People that waste animals like that give us good hunters a bad name
Yup. When people complain about overbearing regulations, I just remind them that silly rules usually come from people that do dumb things.
I went to highschool with those kids with the cow elk lol was kinda crazy to see 🤣
Nothing like being guilty before innocent. Wardens got a bad attitude
24:53 we all know, they could have easily done 10 miles, in a stretch of 3 "crow miles", when your in the mountains. 😂
I sure miss Steve, longtime friend near 20 years.
Glad to see that they are still showing his videos 🤩
Really enjoying these videos. Congratulations Mike and to the young hunter.
I always hope you guys actually get some free time, great video I have a Lotta friends of mine that are game wardens, and it seems like it is all work and very little time to relax and enjoy nature. Hats off to y’all!
That Game Warden is awesome, has a very unassuming nature about him, that serves him well I’m sure! Very good at questioning!
Outstanding young people! 👍
I am thankful for the young men who packed their harvest out of the woods ! There friendship and helping together is a great ending to this particular investigation
I live in Pennsylvania and about 10 years ago came across a bunch of complete game birds dumped by a stream fish and game are 2 separate things in this state and I called and reported what I found and after talking to both places I was basically told they wouldn't DO anything about it not even going out to check it out so glad someone is doing their job unlike most in this state
@@justinsnow5621 yes I am 100 percent sure
Honesty Does Go Along Way That's Good Education About The Birds Being Wasted SAS That Much Meat Went To Waste But Least These Guys Learned A Valuable Lesson And Spread The Word Around
Reading the regulations until you have a firm grasp on them is every hunter’s responsibility. Honesty means nothing to law enforcement. Everything you say WILL be used against you.
Good segment, I like how you handled the kids and nice job on that unique muliey buck.
Nothing bothers me quicker then killing game and letting it go to waste!
Thank you wardens. You have a dangerous job. Maximum respect.
Mackinaw island is amazing, been there a few times. I wish the video would have shown more summer time views. Its worth a visit. Oh, and dont forget to get some Mackinaw island fudge.
From my own chef background. The pheasant case, absolutly beilders me! 60 birds, thats 120 drumsticks worth of good quality meat that is just absolutely squandered
Sweet hunting young man congratulations and many more hunts.
The warden with a hard on for the out of state hunters, needs to remember its innocent until proven guilty, not the reverse!!!
Nice work kid! Very impressive, and great choice in caliber.
Great job to both the warden and the young man. I shot my first white tail it was a 8pt. Big for N. WISCONSIN. All was good except i didnt get it out until 2am. It was day 2 of a 6 day trip so i took the 3rd day off and rested! 2 more deer were gotten that day with 1 deer and 1 day to go. It was gotten the last morning. We got home about 10pm
Really enjoying this program on the internet. I am the source of the original ROBO DEER from WV. Conservation and safety are still at my utmost priority. Stay Safe and continue doing an excellent job.
I'm impressed. I question whether it was truly a 550 yd shot but I am happy for the clan.
Super cool game warden
I'm giving this video a thumbs up for the Game Warden being cool with the kids once he found NOTHING to violate them on!! He tried his best to find something to mess with them but couldn't!! Ughh but the end of the video..✌🐢
The elk hunting crew gave me "Red Dawn" vibes, but great work on the success!
Nice work kid!! Good job friends and family!!
That lil dude is 13? Thought he was 5. lol. Kidding aside, the country needs more responsible and can communicate citizens. Land of the free and home of the brave! Let’s keep it that way Americans! God Bless America and its people!
That's what I'm talking about throw those video games in the trash get your babies Outdoors❤❤❤❤
Sure wish i learned to hunt when i was a child maybe i could have stayed out of trouble
That little kid was super cool lol
You can tell that warden is pissed off he can't right a ticket and steal the elk and the firearms
Kids gonna make a great grampa some day..😂
Happy that the kids with cow elk were all alright, kinda overzealous warden, but better than not.
To the kids in this video, you've made a 61yr old man jelious. but remember to pack out what you pack in including those beer cans..!
I wonder if you guys picked up that shed that the wolf walked over at 12:19 in the video
The absolute most refreshing video I've seen on Utube .
put that tag on immediately upon kill right??
Holy cow that's a lot of birds there had been 15 to 20 guys pushing Fields with dogs what the hell
That’s a badass kid.
❤ I live in Michigan. Conservation officer was awesome when he thought I was doing wrong he got a hold of the persons who owned the property they were in Florida office. Siri help me to get a hold of them and found out I was had permission and he help me load the deer I m
Typical game warden guilty until proven innocent they must be all over the United States like that instead of finding out exactly they are already guessing that somebody did something wrong it's already in his mind
I've never seen a bigger group of more high strung, situation escalating officers....scary
What a bunch of simps
Hey wardens, the part about all the dead birds , pheasant, dove, other species of birds, well that Coors can has prints on it from someone, also look for cigg butt's! Look for cake or candy wrappers! You will find what you seek!
Not good wasting game animals like that
I pheasant hunt and that was one hell of a lot of dead birds- the only thing imported from Asia that isn’t invasive imo
God dam, 13yr old with earings and lip rings, God dam. Good to see the hunt was legal though.
My thoughts exactly. But encouraging nonetheless.
I was wondering the same thing.
But please don't use the Lord's name in vain. It is very disrespectful.
People are suspicious because they are from another state?
Good job young providers, these kind of videos entice my son back to real hunting vs video games
Should invite those kids to a hunt annually , I'm betting they'll take you up on it..
21:04 what is that moving in the background can’t figure it out
The loud music in the background is kind of irritating. I don't think I've heard that in other videos I've watched. Cause if I had, I wouldn't have watched them until the end. Not even half way through.
I found a dead deer with a monster rack, made sure i took plentt of pictures before taking the skull because i knew itd look weird if a game officer ever saw the skull.
How about an episode or two about wardens that break the law. I guarantee they are out there.
That’s a lot of birds dude
The kids all being legal, must of killed this game warden. Right before he said hello to the kid, he said oh this looks good for a violation. He was drooling.
These shows are so annoying to have to watch the same scenes over and over again to get to the point.
😂 you've never had to watch commercials in your life have you. That's not a question .
Gunna Do you understand your rights.."Yes Melm"😂
31:50 if that bag will hold the evidence, dude's got some secrets every hunter would like to learn.
13 year old boy with facial piercings. Good job, dad.
Most likely a single mom!
Animal in background at 23:38 behind kid, wolf?
550 yard shot 🤔
What is insane is that we pay taxes for this and meanwhile down at the southern border … the border is wide open !!! Our taxes Hurrass us trying to eat and refuse to arrest the millions invading our country !
At 23:39 right at the kids head in the background you can see a mountain lion pass by
Not one of the shows I watched of yours was about a person on land and was doing wrong on it. It was always about somewhere on public.
23:38 what is that following the kid? Looks like a mountain lion.
I see now it was likely a chunk of elk on someone’s back. It looked like it though.
That 13yr old kid stands taller than the mountains around him.
These tyrants are “you show me the man.. and I’ll show you the crime “
He is a game warden and first know what kinda bird it was
Littering in Montana.
The kids did alright, just have a littering problem, probably should have told em to go collect all there garbage they left down where they butchered the elk.
One year after the game commission stocked pheasants there was a group of people repeatedly shooting and we all know your only allowed two birds per hunter. So I work my way over towards we're they was and they had no birds on them. Then I discovered rabbit holes freshly stuffed full of dead pheasants. They even shot the hens which your not allowed to shoot. So the hunters started shooting there guns up In the air so the bb shot would come back down on are heads. That was the last time I hunted pheasant. And I hate when hunters come in with dogs and act like they can take over the whole place.
It amazes me how people talk their way into trouble if they just keep their mouth shut they wouldn’t have any proof in more than half of the cases. People they are not your friends and you do not have to talk to the game wardens provide your license and tell them you don’t answer questions
A lot of the issue is the power that wardens have…if you dont cooperate, they will confiscate everything they believe may be linked to the poaching…and then have you fight it in court…so even without admission, wardens can claim there is an abundance of evidence that points to you…and make you go to court
Oh. Game wardens are just like municipal cops. A country pig instead of an urban pig. They will lie as they get no questions asked about their story till court. And they will double down and attack anyone questioning them.
5:44 now that a waste
I probably take up bowling if had that much negativity about wardens doing their job.
