I saw him live once, more than 50 years ago at Winterland in San Francisco. He wasn't even the headliner. He opened for Joe Cocker and his "mad dogs and Englishmen" band (a band organized and led by Louisiana boy Leon Russell). That was quite a night.
Of course I've heard on the radio most of Van Morrison's big hits but I never really went deep never realized just how talented and soulful this man really is I'm 64 now and more or less just discovering him. Thank God for CZcams. Check out van and Tom Jones.

Who's listening in 2022? I never heard this song til I was watching American Wedding the other day and it played during the reception. What a great song! I know their other song, Brown Eyed Girl but never recalled this one...so glad I heard it, what a great song!
