Angered by his wife being killed by narayan,sage bhrigu kicks him on his chest , due to which goddess lakshmi curses him that lakshmi will never live in a bramhan ‘s house, then bhrigu receives the boon from Goddess lakshmi to get her as his daughter ,so goddess lakshmi is born in sage Bhrigu’s house as Bhargavi and as guru Shukracharya’s sister.
@@ARBc336 The story of why Sage Brighu kicked Lord Vishnu started with a great Yajna that was organized by the great Rishis of that time. At the conclusion of the great Yajna, sage Narada appeared and asked the Rishis who between Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu should receive the final offering of the Yajna.
The Rishis were undecided as to who between Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu was the most worthy of receiving the offering. They then decided to seek the great Rishi Brighu’s help with the decision. Sage Brighu decided to visit the abodes of all the three Gods: Kailasa, Brahmaloka and Vaikunta to decide who was the most worthy.
Rishi Brighu first went to Brahmaloka to meet Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma however seemed preoccupied with creation and did not even notice Rishi Brighu. Brighu being arrogant and short tempered, was angered by this and cursed Lord Brahma that he will never be worshiped in the world.
Rishi Brighu then visited Kailasa to meet Lord Shiva. He was however stopped by at the entrance by Nandi and asked to wait outside. Then again Brighu got angry at how he was treated and cursed Lord Shiva (there are various versions of what the curse exactly was)
Rishi Brighu then finally went to Vaikunta. He saw Lord Vishnu asleep atop Adishesha. Birghu was infuriated by this and then kicked Lord Vishnu to wake him up.
Much to his surprise, Lord Vishnu woke up and smilingly and welcomed Brighu. Lord Vishnu showed mercy on Brighu and forgave him.

@@MahishasuraMardhini yes ,that story is correct but this is also correct , just like we get the stories of jalandhar and shankhchur , exactly in the same way we get this story also , this is the only difference . in this Mahalakshmi is born in the form of bhargavi in the house of rishi bhrigu, and in that she is the form of padmavati

भार्गवी की कहानी पढ़ो ऋषि भृगु ने अपनी पत्नी के वध से नाराज़ होकर नारायण के छाती पर पैर मारा था जिससे नाराज़ होकर माता लक्ष्मी ने उन्हें श्राप दिया था कि लक्ष्मी कभी ब्राह्मणों के घर नहीं जाएगी । ऋषि भृगु ने वरदान में यह माँगा था कि माता लक्ष्मी पुत्री के रूप में उनके यहाँ जन्म ले । माता लक्ष्मी भार्गवी के रूप में ऋषि भृगु के घर में जन्म लेती है , दो कहानी इतनी similar है कि सभी कंफ्यूज हो जाते है . पर दोनों ही कहानी सही है
