- Our first ever train ride in Pakistan!!
Check our reaction on Pakistan Railways' Green Line AC Business Class from Lahore to Karachi.
It is a sleeper train, with private cabin for 6 people each.
We took a tour all around the train, and saw the newly installed parlor class, which is considered to be one of the most luxurious train cabin in Pakistan, equipped with TV, AC, and adjustable seats.
Pakistani food is included with our train ticket, but special thanks to our friend Husnain who came to the station to drop us some food for the ride (it was way better than the train food).

Not all trains are the same in Pakistan. These are comparatively new train *imported from China recently.
There are muliple train stations When you arrive in Karachi, there are multiple train stations to choose from, and Karachi CITY Station being the final stop within the larger Karachi area..
Here you dropped off at Karachi "Cantt" (Cantonment) station.
As you travel from Lahore to Karachi or vice versa (North to South or South to North) upto Peshawar, you will pass through several stations on the main railway network. Within the greater Karachi region alone, there are several stations such as Malir Cantt, Drake Road, and Shahrah-e-Faisal, among others.

For your information AC Business class is one step lower class in Pakistan Railways. The highest class is AC Sleeper with attached washroom. Its very comfortable with LCD TV and other facilities

One tip for you guys if you ever travel in the train again.
That if you missed your morning tea or breakfast you could have asked them to bring you that and they will bring.
And if you already had breakfast and chai you can ask for a cup of chai , they can bring it atleast for one time.

What I love abt foreign people is that small gestures of kindness make them SO happy. They are so easy going and thankful to life. Whereas ppl of Pakistan need so much reassurance to feel loved and it’s so frustrating 😣

pro tip: always buy stuff from the market outside instead of the bus/train station shop they are relatively expensive, same goes for the restaurant on motorways
Sleeper train is the best mode of transportation.I agree with Steve.The white noise and the swaying motion lulls you to sleep.Once I took a sleeper train from Chicago to Seattle and back.When the trip was over my daughter had to drag me out of the train.I didn’t want it to end lol

And sometimes last few coaches are off the platform.
The railway is working on expanding the platforms.

Husnain hospitality is appreciable. One thing to correct is that It was NOT private cabin rather private cabin has capacity for only two persons.
Business Class is one notch lower than the highest class in train which is the A/C Sleeper.
That's your own private cabin with an attached wash room, approximately 20% steeper in price
Poor Pakistan .

Going to Pakistan from a western country is like taking a time machine into the past. its very fascinating to see how these simple people live, animals roaming the streets, smell of fresh meat in the air and carpenters, cobblers, blacksmith all working their shops. Yet people still have smartphones and drive modern cars, but when the prayer call comes they stop and turn to their mosques to pray to their God. I hope Pakistan never changes, coming back to Europe after visiting Pakistan makes you appreciate how far we have come as humans and how stark the contrast is in quality of life between that part of the world and the West.

There is no animal roaming or something like that and we have all the modern facilities or infrastructure which west have and all these slums and garbage you seen with train tracks not entire Pakistan looks like this..Pakistan is very beautiful country with all modern facilities which any country have but yes we have poverty also but it's not like that you say that time machine took u into past or something .

Yes, this indeed is a nice train my friends but next time, perhaps on your way back to Lahore, go for the train called "Tezgam", that has a AC Sleeper option for 2 persons with a toilet inside the cabin / compartment. Its a bit more expensive but absolutely worth it.

I travelled on a Pakistani train around 14 years ago, the train arrived late in karachi, by many hours, and it wasn't so comfortable. Although the overall experience wasn't too bad.
It seems they have made some improvements, but still a way to go.
Really enjoying catching up on your visit.
You can get a private cabin, you just have to buy 6 tickets... 😂😂😂

I enjoyed this vlog didn't miss single thing , Train surly clean toilet paid attention on hygiene water soaps there, seats looked clean, over all 4 starts 4 🌟 for Tain. Didn't like litter rubbish near Karachi I blame local government for not providing massive bins to collect rubbish n recycl.
U guys need shorts t shirts not worry Pakistani breathy comfy fabrics n shoes ll save u from heat , buy sun lotions sun protection hats . Always keep water n biscuits with u .
