Poirot's Early Cases is a short story collection written by Agatha Christie and first published
in the UK by Collins Crime Club in September 1974.
In the collection, Christie charts some of the cases from Hercule Poirot's early career, before
he was internationally renowned as a detective. All the stories had first been published in
periodicals between 1923 and 1935 - Zรกbava

Thank you for your stories they make my nights better .bless you
You are so welcome
Thank you for your videos. I really love them. Hugh Fraser reads the stories so well. From Lynne in Australia. ๐ค๐
Thanks for watching!
Hugh Fraser reads wonderfully, David Suchet not so well, in fact I dislike his sing-song style.
Anyone know why the last story is identical to another but with the victim being changed between female and male? The story I heard in the past the victim was female, her roommate found her and had the police break the door down like this one, the gun palace in the hand, the ashtray, and all were the same. The focal point of a lot of the other story was the fluffy green quill at the writing desk but the smoke free smelling room was a big clue in both, cufflink was a clue as well. Seems like the handkerchief took the place of the green quill in this story.
Edit. It just dawned on me after posting the above comment that these stories are from the TV show, which is why they probably differ from the books.
I recollect the identical story too- the title is Murder in Leeds or something like it. I have heard it just recently read by Mr. Suchet as well.
Yes, probably
You mean murder the mews I guess๐
@@LinClarkson AC was notorious for reusing plot elements and even expanding short story ideas published earlier into longer novels. There are several distinctive secondary character surnames she dropped into unrelated stories, also red herrings and basic plot logistics that she liked to reuse. This story is very like parts of Murder in the Mews.
@@puirYorick Thank you so much for posting this extra information about the various Agatha Christie stories and her re-use of plots and plot-lines, it is extremely interesting and informative. I really appreciate it. Thanks again. All my very best wishes from Rose.๐

I'd be glad to help.
But I don't do banks. If I did, I wouldn't do recurring payments.
Paypal dropped me last year after 20 hassle-free years.
I guess paypal & the govt are finger-fuking each other.
They said I could not use paypal without a Thai national ID.
I don't have a Thai national ID.
I'm not Thai.

No coffee for you, you couldnโt. Pronounce Poirot.
Much to fast
Sorry about that!
You can select slower speed in CZcams settings.
"Much too fast" adjust by the wheel selection in upper right corner.
Thoroughly enjoyable but the Market Basing Mystery is the exact same story as Murder in the Mews ie suicide made to look like murder. Shame on you Dame Agatha, plagiaring yourself ๐
This also happened with The Submarine Plans - it was later extended to a serial about plans for a new bomber, but the plot was largely unchanged. I think the title was "The Incredible Theft"
Sorry, I just can't listen. Choppy and dull reading
ENGLISH NOT BRITISH. I DON'T GIVE MONEY TO MEDIA THIEVES......
