- A look at the return trips by the 1938 tube stock on the Piccadilly Line. The train operated from Acton Town and back via the Heathrow loop taking in Osterley, Hounslow Central and Hatton Cross.

Very cool 😎 love the old trains
Nicely filmed again John. Plenty of relevant information as usual, well researched. Full marks as well to London Transport Museum for running these and also for the condition they are in, they look better now than they did when I first travelled on them and they were only about 25 years old then.
Grays I certainly agree with what you say about the condition of the 1938 stock. Cheers
Terrific video again John. I wish that the Glasgow subway would do a run of the old 'shooglies', but I don't think that any that can still run exist. The new driverless trains come into service next year. Long way from the original cable hauled trains from 1896. World's 3rd oldest subway behind London and Budapest
Thanks Alfie
Brilliant video John
Many thanks

Well done on your video John, it didn’t look too crowded for you to film it. Looks like you managed to capture it a few times too which was good. 😊
Many thanks Angie. I was quite surprised how quiet it was down the track.
@@johncull yes I was surprised too, much better for you when filming though 😊
