Saying A Tearful Goodbye To The Iconic Jaguar F Type!

- It really is the end of an era for Jaguar as we say goodbye to it's very last internal combustion sports car, the incredible F Type.
This truly gorgeous sports car has been with us for just over ten years, in my opinion, is the best looking car Jaguar has ever produced. It's sleek lines exquisite styling had my pupils dilating with pure desire from moment I first set eyes on it.
I didn't think that anything could top Ian Calum's beautiful Aston Martin designs but he truly took it to another level with the sublime vision he brought to the F Type.
In todays video, I visit Sports and Touring, an independent Jaguar specialist in the heart of the Hampshire countryside in England, to pay homage to, what will surely be a timeless classic, as it joins the hallowed ranks of Jaguar sports car history.

I have the Reims edition ( French racing blue) it is now 3 years old and we still love every drive. It’s our daily, but very practical with a decent sized boot for shopping or weekends away. A dream car for sure.

Great video, Bobby, love your unbridled enthusiasm for the F-Type! I bought a 2015 V6S Coupe (in Italian Racing Red) about 2 months ago. I've been lucky enough to own some very nice cars (and motorcycles) over the last 45 years but the F-Type just blows everything else away. It's parked on the drive outside and I can't resist looking out there every few minutes - she is simply a thing of beauty!

Best looking jag of all time in my opinion was the facelifted MY12-15 XKR…. I’m biased but in the flesh it’s gorgeous!!!

They could have given it a real facelift that deserved the name. Just a little touch up. They actually did a decent job at the rear end. But what on god´s green earth were they smoking when they designed the new headlights? The car was so pretty and the facelift looks so tryhard angry. I´m definately going to get an old one. They are so rare in Germany :)

Hi Bobby, great upbeat, refreshing & enthusiastic review. Only one problem, the V8, the V8 AWD R is a just the whole icing on the top for the F-Type. You can tell I have one right ;) and it's the older type on 2015, santorini black with black pack and carbon blade wheels. If you drove this you would never look at a V6 again, as good as they are. I totally agree with the styling aspects, although the upgrades internally were very good. Thanks.

@@bobbyfreemandrives8342 Get a drive in the V8R you'll never want the stereo on again, the power gets delivered in bucket loads. You are most welcome and I look forward to more. Like your style.
I won't knock the v8 in any way, but I bet you have the all wheel drive version, I have the V6 rear wheel drive only with 440 bhp on just two wheels, remapped larger pulley, that's a real handful and non forgiving, one last thing the V6 f type produces a sound unlike anything else.
@@cliffnewman5469 It is AWD predominantly rear. I was at the Gaydon F-Type 10 year celebration last year and every single F-Type in all the livery just looked and sounded superb.
One must wonder what it will be replaced with. I like the F type but wonder what they will now do as a company.

I just bought the wife a 2019 Black F Pace S AWD, so now I can get the F-Type, just not sure which one. Definitley the coupe Maybe go for the 5.0L V8.
