I really appreciated all you effort and work you were putting into the bus "for the new owners". Not taking shortcuts and replacing things that didn't actually require it speaks volumes about your character as people and a couple. You guys are awesome!!
Omgggggg ! ! Those juvenile chicks are completely ADORABLE ! We're in Stagecoach Tx (near Houston ) and a whole cooked rotisserie chicken is [US]$4.98 @ Sam's Club , but a whole fryer(raw) @ the local grocery store is more pricey $7.33 ( avrge wt. 4.21 lbs ) So basically , YEAH , yardbird has gotten CRAZY EXPENSIVE ! Thanks for sharing y'alls progress ..MEGA Thumbs Up ! 😇❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It will be so nice for you to have the bus parking spot to use for something else. It will change the look of everything! I have to hand it to you, raising those chickens. I couldn’t do it because I couldn’t “dispatch” them. They are so darn cute.
So sad to see the school bus go. It served you well and now it can serve someone else. Great that you repaired most stuff for the new owner. Love your videos.
Noticed the IKEA bag on the bus. They are one of the most handy things ever, work bag, laundry bag, ultimate shopping bag and the trunk never leaks bag... :):)
We have exactly that same ATV/cart setup and it's impossible to back it up any distance.. got a good laugh seeing you guys have the same problem! Your homestead is looking good Well Done!
I admire the attention you give your animals, even the ones you'll harvest. And fixing the bus up to an even better condition, says alot about ya'll. You're correct about us Americans, we have little area to grow food, our lives are one of convenience, and electronics. We'll, most of us...lol 😂😅 There's a reason why I indulge in CZcams off grid channels, to learn. Love ya'll ❤
Y’all really put in the work, no matter what the task. A lot of progress going on at Katie,& Greg’s homestead. Thanks for sharing with us.💯👍🏾💕👍🏾💜✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Très bien le ” et voilà!’. Vous faites du bon travail tous les deux. Bonne chance dans votre entreprise. Merci du respect que vous avez pour vos animaux. Bises de France.
Oh and by the way, just throw the chips on top of that straw. It will start to compost under the chips and generate heat. The chickens will turn and scratch at the chips and help it stay aerated for the composting process. When you move the birds out, you have amazing soil for your garden. In nature birds always follow ruminant animals so don’t worry about the chicks being on the chips with goat manure.
You both are amazing and seem very happy, like to see you doing what you want, life is good keep it up. Thank you for letting us see all your stuff and hard work. Very proud that you let me in your life. I miss being young and full of life. Thanks
Oh boy, the bus cleaning and getting it ready, close to getting moved off the property, I know you’ll be glad to have the extra space for your projects 😂❤
Most of my shopping in Michigan USA at the Mennonites Farm Markets or I go directly to the Amish Stores (they for 1 make their own cheese) In most cases are cheaper than Meijer's or Walmart or Krogers Or Aldi's. (Aldi's have cheaper canned vegetables if that is what you are looking for) I can my own tomatoes (you can not find a better canned tomato or green peppers or corn on the cob) so easy....cut up celery-green peppers-carrots-throw in a ziplock bag & throw in the freezer, throw your corn on the cob in a freezer bag (do not blanch) throw in freezer. You have to pressure can green beans.
Good morning guys hope you guys are having a great morning or a great afternoon keep up the good work and then do what you guys got to what's going on with the bus 🚌 are you guys going to fix the bus
The bus is a testament on how far you have come in a few short yrs….Greg’s electrical has stepped up it game since the schoolie…. You guys did throw a curve ball with the picasso investments, but it pays the bills lol. Btw. I have a microphone in my truck as well. Don’t even ask me why… lol. Be safe. Thanks for sharing
In the middle of winter it gets down to minus 10 here sometimes on Vancouver Island all's I did with my baby chicks all winter have a minute a bigger plastic dog house put a door on it and had 100 Watt condensed light bulb in there never lost one chick I don't know why people use those big electric draining heat lamps for I think maybe the partners with hydro🤣🤣🤣
You two really have a nice little homestead going on, nice comfy home for all the animals and of course saving money on meat. you do what you have to do really to survive . all your hard work shall pay off wish I could do this myself. That bus will make one awesome tiny home real nice size just needs a bit of work for the way they want it and money in your pocket for selling it very cool.
When you are giving the price of raising chickens you should include the price of food and consumables like wood chips. They are definitely healthier and happier.
I gotta say your meat chickens are way cuter than mine. My cornish cross have past the down feathers gone and bald butts , all they do is eat , drink and poop all at the same time
A cooked organic chicken is 9.99 so I can live without the grain cost, poop and the time spent on them.. I grew up on a farm and those days are way behind me. We made our drain field deep and put the garden over it. Smarter not harder so add septic tank and drain field for easy life hack but there maybe a cost factor for you.
One thing I do like about what I had in my bus was the old style propane furnace that ran off a pilot light no forest air best furnace ever for RV now that electronic **** and two small fridges born on top of each other one I used for a freezer and one I used for a fridge and the bus had a bathroom toilet with a corner sink and across from that I built a shower stall and then the bed was at the back two tables one on each side that folded down to beds would stove on the passenger side right by the door two big propane tanks one saddle tank off an old Chevy truck and 13 bottle tank at the very back held a lot of propane for a long time propane tanks are still in it wood stove's still in it kitchen sink is still in it the rest is out
It is a mystery to me why these 4-wheeler manufacturers and riding lawn mower builders don't put a receiver hitch, or some means for a trailer ball on the front of the equipment. It sure would make moving the little trailers around a lot easier. And, what in hell do I have to do to get you kids to wear gloves when you're working? You're killin me!
Both of you have grown so much with knowledge and know how. Well done guys, So much good you've done for yourselves. I'm happy to see the bus on its way to the new owners, this will free up so much space in your yard. Moving forwards in leaps and bounds. And loved your barn, spoilt happy goats.
Hi Guy's, I sure hope that you dipped each baby chick's beak into water so they learn how to drink on their own. You guys are doing a great job! Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy, Frank Scherping
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️ hey man one of those trailors are the hardest things to back up. They are light and they always want to go the way they want to go👍👍👍👍 full roast chicken goes for $4.98 here....like you say though they aren't organic...
Sure will be different when the bus is gone !
I just got 30 meat chickens and 15 turkeys. It’s what we must do! Our food supply is so overtaxed and broken. ❤❤❤. Great job you guys!!!!🤙🤙🤙
Yes chicken is thru the roof, the chick's will love their new home 😊 The place will look so different with the bus gone😢 ❤️🇨🇦

I am in the USA , New England area and it’s expensive to eat .. Been here 2 weeks . So much rain but also soo much beauty!
baby chicks are so cute when they eat..

Self sufficiency is key. I like the fact that you care about the quality of the item you are selling unfortunately not many do. Great video
Hope you guys are safe and the fires are far from you all! My husband and I enjoy you and all the animals!
Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅

Your homestead is looking good
Well Done!
Greg backs a trailer up in the busiest of settings for work all the time but the atv got him 😂
Busy, busy, busy. Thought prices in the states were high.....think I will not complain anymore. Thanks for the video.
Greg keeps DUCTING tape in his truck door LOL NOT Katie calls BullShit LMAO

Everything is looking good!! It will be so nice to have the space vacated by the bus😎
The little microphone moment is exactly why this is my favorite CZcams channel! Spontaneous great humor AF! 🤣
New barn looks great.

Have you ever hatched any?
Those trailer backing up skills are why I stayed subbed
Did you see the way those "baby dinosaurs" chowed down on that pinkie mouse.
Y’all are truly hard workers

You should always dip the chicks beers in the water dish when you take them out of the box
Not sure if you are aware.. but backing up a small trailer is one of the hardest things known to mankind. No Bull
Always something to do on the homestead. Another great video.
Great video. So many things going on. I bet you will be happy to have the bus out of there. Bitter sweet. Thanks for sharing.

You have SO many trolls! You do you❤❤❤
When you are giving the price of raising chickens you should include the price of food and consumables like wood chips. They are definitely healthier and happier.
It includes everything
@ 6:50 backing trailers is an art most people never experinece
I must admit that the confusion on kds face tickles me!
Another great video. Katie rocks.

I enjoy watching you guys ❤
Makes me tired!😛
Chicks look good that bus was neat nice looking barn good job ❤
If you had a longer tongue on the trailer it makes it easier the more distance from hitch to axle the easier
cover your compost pile with a swheet of black plastic
Hi guys
good all around video. actually, the best kind. a little bit of everything. tanx a rot dude and dudette.

@ 22:45 wow the bus
It is a mystery to me why these 4-wheeler manufacturers and riding lawn mower builders don't put a receiver hitch, or some means for a trailer ball on the front of the equipment. It sure would make moving the little trailers around a lot easier. And, what in hell do I have to do to get you kids to wear gloves when you're working? You're killin me!

@ 32 Greg she knows you to well use that to your advantage
Hey Greg just put a set of motorcycle mirrors on the ATV for the trailer I have the same issue as you do backing one of them with a trailer
put a hitch in front of the 4 wheeler
\
@ 15:00 that will make the compost work turn often
Hi Guy's, I sure hope that you dipped each baby chick's beak into water so they learn how to drink on their own. You guys are doing a great job! Sincerely, the old Montana cowboy,
Frank Scherping
Rather than looking at the price increase. It's actually the value of the dollar has been going down in purchasing power!
Thats a lot of chicks lol. Be careful of the lamp, my buddy's heat lamp caught on fire and burn down his barn and garage.
Make wooden ramps so your trailer could be backed up higher so you can tip all the contents out.
You usually always give the chickens water immediately you install them
The farm we get them from advises to let them warm up for 30 mins first
👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️ hey man one of those trailors are the hardest things to back up. They are light and they always want to go the way they want to go👍👍👍👍 full roast chicken goes for $4.98 here....like you say though they aren't organic...
Y’all only think it’s hot there. It’s 114 with the heat index here in north Texas.
We made it to 123° heat index today! Or so i hear!😛
Greg I find it’s harder to back up with the short trailers.
