- Through the month of December 2021, I'll be recording a series of Christmas songs as a thank you to all of the folks supporting my music/Psalms project over at Patreon.com/briansauve. Enjoy this peek behind the curtain, and Merry Christmas!
This one is a medley of the old French carol, "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" and a short original chorus I wrote, "The King is Come." The lyrics to the original part are:
The King is come
The King is come
Veiled in flesh
Flesh to redeem
The Son of God
And Son of Man
Is bringing sons
of men to God
He tramples darkness
Bright now-the dawn!
And with his coming
Death’s gloaming comes

This is a beautiful song! We appreciate the music you’ve created so much! The way you put scripture into music is beautiful and the psalms have helped our family memorize scripture in such a beautiful way!
Thank you for listening! Glory to God!
Hi Brian, from Santa baby, i've been led to this song. Well thanks so much and be blessed ! Keep on making such good music in these difficult days. You made my day in Jesus name, from Quebec Canada.
Love this song, excellent, 4th century I believe.
Nice work, Brian!
We sing this during Communion in our churches.
This is so touching and spirit filled!
God bless you Brian

The first half was written in Rome at the height of the pagan Empire... Faith-filled postmillennial triumphalism at its finest. Is the second half original from Brian?
