Here's a cool video lesson demonstrating a great way to achieve a round, warm tone when walking on the bass-and you don't have to switch to the front pick up to achieve this! Plus, some extra useful hacks to develop your walking lines and melodic skill...
This is excellent Rufus thanks for sharing
As you were playing your walking line with the change in hand position I said to myself - "Oh man... I gotta transcribe what he's playing." and your message popped up and told me to do just that! Great stuff as usual Rufus. Sounds wonderful.
Absolute gems in this video . Cheere
You left out my second favorite Parker blues (after Billies Bounce) Blues for Alice.
Awesome! I am tempted to study with you...

Isotope!
Isotope and Allans solo on it when he covers it on the "None too sone" album is the most fantastic thing you will ever hear in your life 👌👌👌

Nice video! Hands down! ;-) btw I love my upright bass, but my old fender jazz is a far more ergonomic and useful music "tool", is it wrong I prefer the sound it has for jazz ? SO much more direct, and drummers seem to prefer it.
Thanks
