im kinda with you, i dont drink n im not gonna tell u what to do or what not to do cuz its not my business, pot is my vice but i still have the same emotions (at least similar) connections to this song as you do. its a comforting feeling knowing im not the only one going through the same stuff.
This song and a lot of songs by this artist relates very closely to my life and although it's nice to know i'm not alone it still kinda hurts my heart

Johnson that's what makes this band so great, not only do they not limit themselves to one type of sound but all of their songs are able to convey all the emotions that they were feeling when they were writing/recording their music wether we can relate to it or not, it's sad but yet addictive to listen to for being so beautiful

I used to play this song on repeat when I was living at my grandparents house and developed addictions to harder drugs, I did heroin for the first time with my drug dealer in a public metro park bathroom by my house.
At the time I felt deeply ashamed and was lying and hiding a lot of things from a lot of different people in my life, most of those people don’t speak to me, and I wouldn’t speak to them even if they wanted to speak to me. I hurt a lot of people and I’ve come to realize the only way to fix it is to leave them alone.
I’m in a comfortable insulated position in my life with everything around me that makes me happy, but I question if it makes me feel actually alive, a comfortable routine that’s repeated over and over again.
