You can truly call it a home and homestead built by you and your family
Those kids are worth their weight in gold---or maybe ice cream!😉💗😊👍🇨🇦
Your family makes me smile, such a sweet family, y'all make this content such a joy to watch. Bravo to you all for making your dream come true, such hard work!! I hate that Eli is getting older, lol
WOW.. LOVE that thunderstorm. lol.. Don't tempt mother nature. LOVED the kids in unison.. YAYYYY... so cute.
It is so refreshing to see your kids involved with building your new home. They will treasure the memories for a lifetime. Thanks for sharing your story with us. God bless you. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🫡
I am so impressed what a wonderful family ❤
A true family build! Love watching all of you work together. You’re making great progress. Blessings to your family❤
Great job guys. Even though those foam panels are super light weight, I bet the last few felt really heavy. haha. That's a lot of work, but you guys did great!
Nice progress, a point to think about... between a concrete exterior header and the basement. Concrete that sits on a foam board can break, preferably every 1.5-2 meters. Insert iron rods that penetrate the ground 50-80 cm. Bend and tie to an iron mat.
Great team and professional job keep it up ❤
It’s great seeing your family working together, you must be very proud of them. They seem to enjoy getting it done, with play mixed in too. Lovely to watch. I worry about standing outside in low scrubby areas when there is lightning around so stay safe. I was wondering if you should add a platform on the crusher for the kids to stand on so the had a more stable foothold. See you on the next.
Another step completed ❤😊, maybe the kids cud do some shorts of the things they work on ❤
Great job guys and loved the video 😘👍🏻💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻
I can’t wait to watch you poure for the concrete foundation, it’s nice to see the kids helping.
Another great family effort. That rain allowed me to delay my trip back to Concho as the rain helped my seedlings.
Great watching your family work together.
It looks nice i bet you can't wait till its poured could you please send me some of that rain I'm dying out here lol. Larry
Ya'll are doing an incredible job. Truly. I know in reality it's a lot more difficult than the videos show. I subscribe to 50+ CZcams channels and you are in the top 5. I really enjoy watching your efforts progressing. The prize is coming.....keep it up!!! Luv ya!
Good morning how are you guys doing today look like everything is coming together keep up the good work make sure she's happy God bless you guys
It's great watching your kids helping so much, you are so close to getting walls up, All the best from Calgary Canada
Never would have thought about the separate electrical run to the island! The kids are being such a great help - makes your heart smile!😍🇨🇦
Looks absolutely great
❤wow another great video. Great progress🙏🙂

Great work all of you. A team is so powerful. Thanks from Central Oklahoma
The family working hard on the new home and I can't waiting for the walls to be build. ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😍🥲👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯
Enjoying your channel we are building in Kingman. I have to say this and please don't take it in any way except for personal experience. My husband has a rock crusher. There was a large rock trying to make its way down the shoot when the vibration from the crusher caused the ro k to fall off of the crusher. The rock hit him in the back of the head and pushed his face into the crusher, crushing the right side of his face he almost died three times and has had over 13 reconstructive surgeries. Please be aware of the dangers, especially around small children. We will continue to watch and support our AZ neighbors . Best wishes.❤
Just wow
Rain rain go away! We want to see Boulder build their house!!! lol. Great job guys!
A new job for you, wrappings and taping xmas presents
We'd do pretty good 😁
Great job again, thank you for sharing. Stay safe!
Love Your Family!!! Truly Inspiring!!! 🥰🙏🏻❤️💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing
Seeing you guys running around on an elevated location surrounded by metal rods buried in the ground while lightning is striking in the distance makes me ask: Jacob, will you be installing a rooftop lightning rod tied to a nice, deeply buried ground rod?
You know, I'm really not sure. I've looked into lightning protection/rods before and did not find enough evidence that it would be worth it. Or maybe I haven't looked in the right places for the right information.
@@aboulderlifeoffgrid My uncle, a retired master electrician, was also a certified lightning protection specialist and instructor at Salt Lake Community College in the 1980s. I read all of the instructional materials that his course required way back then, and the information has surely been updated since then.
After getting out of the Navy, I was a TV tech (back in the 1990s when people actually fixed TVs) and there were several service calls per year to look at TVs in houses that had been struck by lightning in Salt Lake.
You've already got a ground rod buried somewhere, and I imagine you'll add a second one right next to the house itself, so a run of bare 8ga solid copper up to the peak of the roof fastened to a sharpened 3ft vertical chunk of rebar bolted to an eave will probably suffice.
Your location certainly offers a greater likelihood of catching a strike as a result of numerous factors, and your house will be the tallest object in probably several square miles. Please give it further consideration.
Been looking forward to the start of the build, have followed from the very beginning can’t wait to see the finished results 👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍
Thanks for taking us along
First? Sounds like you made a ton of progress.
Kind regards Christiaan

Just curious if you've researched the unground heating problems many have had with increased mold in the homes?
Didn't know that was a problem. Maybe something to do with a vapor barrier trapping moisture. Thanks 🙂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😅
First of all I love your videos and journey. Came across your channel searching for solar solutions. I just got hooked and have followed you ever since. One thing I’m curious about is your property and landscaping. Are you allowed to plant some tall trees if you want? Bring in different tree types. Just a curious question from a fan in Ireland. We have many trees types living side by side. Are there local rules?
There are no rules on what we can and can not plant here. We'll start planting things here and there once our well is drilled. Thanks for keeping up with us. 🙂
Is Logan taller than you Natalie?
Yup, he is.
What is the snake situation?
Haven't seen any yet this summer.
Feel sorry for you and family, but am very happy to see that you are all safe for the storm.
There's nothing to feel sorry about. We're loving it out here.
Sorry for what? They are building their dream with the help of their wonderful kids!
👍👍👍
