Marcelito was born in the Philippines, was abandoned by his mother when he was 7 years old. She left him to grow up on the streets. Amazingly, he survived and taught himself to sing to comfort himself when he was frightened and alone.
He's from the Philippines. Yes he is famous, got more fame after joining America's Got Talent The Champions back in 2020. He is currently on tour in the US for a series of concerts.

From Philippines, I have seen him live 3 times and counting!! In person, he is just like you are seeing but funny too, a great human being!! You should see him doing The Power of Love by Celine Dion as well as Con Ti Partiro from his AGT competition.

Marcelito is from the planet “Philippine Islands” in Southeast Asia. Someone may have have already shared he is self-taught and grew up in the streets separated from family when his father got incarcerated. He got reunited with his family by way of a national campaign to locate them as he participated in the Filipino Got Talent (he won). I only read of this while listening to this version many, many times enjoying reactions on You Tube. BTW, he learned to sing mimicking Celine Dione he idolizes, as he sang to chickens in the poultry farm he worked as a struggling youngster growing up alone (again…I’ve read in responses on comments to reactions). Check out his duet with Morisette Amon of the Secret Love Song. Likewise his performance in AGT.

Marcelito Pomoy is definitely in the elite singing bracket. He blows people out of the water. He is the master in switching voices in a split second, no effort whatsoever. What is more amazing is the fact that he never ever had a real training or lessons in singing, he's self-taught. The more you react to him the more you will be in awe, by the way he's sitting down. You have to react to his version of POWER OF LOVE at wish 107.5. He gonna blow your mind again trust me.

Marcello, being Fillipino, did not speak any other language than his own language, so imitating Celine Dion ( a very talented French speal8ng person, singing her part in English) and Andrea Bocelli (an Italian Opera singer) is his amazing talent. He can sing any language, female and/or male parts and many songs too. Check out Beauty and the Beast or The Power of Love (another Celine Dion song) and others. You'll be impressed.

Marcelito Pomoy is very famous. He is a filipino, have plenty of concerts in USA, Canada Australia and other countries. Please try his, Never enough, despacito, my heart will go on, power of love etc. He is not just a singer but also a performer. Dimash can't be compared with him cz he can't switch as quickly as Marcelito. Try looking for his version of Perfect in English and Italian. Can sing French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese etc. His version of Despacito in spanish is perfect! Dimash always have a hard time singing, can't sing as relax as Marcelito.

Michael, there is an 11 member (5 women, 6 men) A Cappella ensemble called "Voctave" to which I think you would enjoy reacting. Although Voctave has numerous CZcams videos, I recommend that you start with their "Disney Princess Medley" (2017) and then "Disney Love Medley" (late 2015).
Note: The "Disney Love Medley" was recorded when Voctave had only 8 members. It features Kirstin Maldonado of Pentatonics fame and Jeremy Michael Lewis of the Acousticats. That video currently has 32 million views.

Its bcos thats really natural Born talent so he dont need training.. He didnt undergo training for him to acquire that skills 😊 there are few talents like Marcelito here from Philippines but MP is the only one who make it to grandchampion and to b known across the world or atleast make it into international stage.

Yes, Marcelino Pinoy is a Filipino. When he got separated from his family, he lived in the streets, self-trained and a very humble person. You may have noticed that in the cover song of "The Prayer", he sang it in English & Italian alternately. If you have a friend who speaks & understands Italian, ask your friend to listen to this performance. The way Marcelito switches from English to Italian then English in quick succession. BTW, you may wish to consider reacting to his cover of "The Power of Love" by Celine Dione; his AGT performance of "Conte Partiro", to name a few.
