Same here. I didn't know what this was, I thought it was an old video till i looked up the day it was updated. I missed the Pod cast on twitch because I had just gotten back from spending the day out on a boat at an island just north of my town. I never watched all the episodes of Clone Wars, only seen a few when they had them on tv a few years ago. So i defiantly have to watch them now.

geo koukkappakeepo I care about his opinion. He's been in an executive role in the department of animation. Let's face it, Kathleen is a superstar producer who likes to go for big names over talent. She isn't that focused on creative, nor has she communicated the grievances of the community to Uncle Bob when Dave has his finger on the pulse of most of the community. He's great with actors, and produced his own work before. And actually cares about the overarching story whereas Kathleen just throws the reigns to whoever she's hired. We've gotten lucky that Dave and Kasdan worked on Rogue One and Solo, they've been why we have *any* connectivity. Kathleen is the greatest huh? Lord and Miller gone. I remember when the movie aired when i was in first grade (wow) and watching every episode when they released each Friday night at 8 or 8:30 up until when it ended in my 6th or 7th grade year (honestly cannot remember exactly when things went down, it’s been so long). Now I am a rising senior in High School, looking forward to my future in college and beyond, and I cannot express the feels this trailer and all the surrounding hype has instilled in me. It’s like I am a kid again, waiting for each Friday night to see the next chapter in the epic saga. Wow, just wow. I never expected to have my childhood suddenly resurface like this, and god damn if I am not ready for some more Clone Wars.

I started watch Star Wars the clone wars when I was 8 years old and it first aired on Cartoon Network. My favourite show was then cancelled when I was 13. I have literally grown up with this show, it was the first Star Wars media I had ever watched and it formed my love for the Star Wars universe. I've rewatched the series multiple times and I have never tired of it. Now I'm 18 and I can't believe I get to watch new episodes of this show- I can't believe this is real I'm so happy.

I’m 17 years old now and still remember going to see the Clone Wars movie in theaters with my parents and cousins. Then watching the series from start to finish. I truly grew up with the clone wars and can’t explain how happy this makes me.

Just to address this for you guys. They did talk about having both Rick and Calvin do a catch up run of clone wars in yesterday's podcast since the trailer dropped while they were filming. So they are definitely considering doing it but they haven't said that they will, only that they might.

I grew up watching Clone Wars. My cousin introduced me to the movie and I immediately got attached to Ahsoka, and when he told me there was a tv show, I flipped out and got ready for the premiere of the show. Although I did stop watching after Ahsoka left, I caught up on Netflix. I loved Ahsoka so much that I started acting like her and my brother kept on calling me Snips so in tern I called him Sky Guy. I'm actually reading the book Ahsoka right now and I've never been more excited about anything Star Wars related and I actually teared up when I saw Anakin, Obi-Wan and screamed when I saw Ahsoka. This made my week, and seeing your reactions made me more happy. I definitely recommend having the others to watch the movie and show and upload their reactions.

I remember watching this damn show every single night a new episode came on with younger brother. I am beyond excited. So far same voice actors, same style. I'm so excited and thrilled. Now I'm in my sophomore year of College and this brings back so much joy.

I really never thought we would ever get to see The Clone Wars finished the way it was intended. Or even in the same animation style. I watched it knowing that the show was going to end abruptly and EP III was not going to fill the void. Me and my sister have watched and rewatched TCW so many times. My nieces even love it. I don't remember getting this emotional about a trailer since TFA. I feel like bursting into tears!

The movie came out on my birthday in 2008. There is this big book of Star wars which contains everything from the first six movies and the expanded universe, my 8th birthday being marked in the Star wars time line makes me so happy.
I'm not ashamed to say that I cried from sheer and utter joy and excitement. The panel room was absolutely electric with emotion. Being in the room when this dropped was the absolute best thing.

I am a prequel child. Granted I'd watched the OT before the PT but seeing podracing at the age 7 blew my mind, then The Battle of Geonosis, then the duel on Mustafar etc. The Prequels are my Star Wars and there is a lot to love about it. Hit the nail on the head with your point about how this era of Star Wars' kids are now adults and want more of what they love.

I was crying with happiness. These new episodes are my savior for the sudden ending of the Clone Wars in the past.
I'm 18 now, and I was 8 when i went to see the original Clone Wars movie, I was so excited when I saw that they were making a series based on it that I broke a lamp with my green lightsaber... I was almost in tears when I heard it was canceled, but I was given Rebels and I thought it was a good thing for the implications of those affected by the end of The Clone Wars. This is something that I been waiting for for forever.

I grew up on Clone Wars. I was born in 1996 so I was 9 when Episode 3 came out, so Clone wars was right smack in middle of that perfect age for me
I'm with Shane I loved the prequels and I love the New films and of course love the Original trilogy. The only Star Wars related thing I did not like is the infamous Xmas special. I even liked the Droids and Ewoks animated series.

Shane got it right. I was eight when this series came out and it is what got me fully involved with anything Star Wars (I’ve seen the movies before, but never called myself a fan until the show). So just to come back from a four year hiatus, I feel like my 13-year-old self is about to take control of my body once more when this show comes out💙💛🖤
I grew up watching this show and it's exactly like Shane said. I'm more hyped than I have ever been, maybe even more than when I heard about The Force Awakens. This show was my childhood and to see it come back is indescribable. I am so incredibly excited.

With all the division & strife as of late within the Star Wars fan base, OMG this was the shot in the arm the Star Wars fan base so needed right now. I so agree. I watched the original trilogy when I was a young kid, but it wasn't until the Prequels that I got more into it. Because I was older then when they came out, it's the prequels that made me rewatch the originals. I'm happy we are finally getting more prequel content!!
I hope that they do more than 12 episodes. Like this is season 7 then we have season 8. There are so many arcs left unfinished, i want them to do them all. Son of dathomire, dark disciple, bad batch, crisis on utapau, yuuzong vong, Ashoka in the underworld of coruscant and everything else between those and the siege of mandalore

So, I'm gonna say right off that this is based on a comic. Ashoka is on Mandalore fighting against Maul. She calls Rex for help and he calls Anakin and Obi-Wan. Eventually Anakin and Obi-wan are called back to coruscant due to Palpatine being kidnapped by Grievous; Episode III et cetera.
