I've heard it a number of times now but "Are the Children Happy?" still gets to me. The tears are unavoidable, man. I feel sorry for Chas because of the collapse of his marriage even though you can clearly hear that he still loves his wife very dearly. And the song makes me think of my broken relationship of 17 years and also my parents breaking up when I was a teenager. Chas sums up all those memories and moments, good ones and bad ones, he shared with his wife and family and that makes me think of all the beautiful and not so beautiful moments I had in my life with my girlfirend. The song really hits home for me.
