  • This is a great way to conclude a leg workout. I do prefer to do these later in the workout so your knees are properly warmed up. Enjoy.

    Curious as to why u didn't elevate the rear foot? Maybe this targets the quads more? The rear foot being elevated would incorporate more hams? Btw, love your videos, keep them coming.

      Adam Hillian yes elevating the back foot would place more emphasis on the hams and glutes I would imagine. Love John's videos too, genius! maybe you could check out my channel if u get a chance man, I'm an irish natural bodybuilder and I'm running a journey to the stage series at the moment. would really appreciate a sub! no problem if it's not for you :-)

      mountaindog1 I've seen a video with u doing foot elevated with db's but not barbell. Tried some foot elevated BB splits squats myself last night and unfortunately pulled my left hanmy. Was getting 225 lbs for reps with no problems until the hammy popped. I should have warmed up more extensively.
