This is more breakage than split ends - there's a big difference. The only thing that gets rid of ACTUAL split ends is to trim past the splits and treat your hair more kindly. More conditioning on the ends, less heat - like that. Breakage is primarily a handling issue - too much pulling, tugging, twisting (particularly with WET hair, which is more fragile), too many heated appliances, tight ponytails or braids - particularly using the wrong elastics to secure them. Conditioning may help, but if you continue to mistreat your hair, you're going to continually have breakage.
That *prevents* split ends. If you have split ends, nothing can make it better other than trimming your hair. Every strand of your hair does not grow the same length so this makes it a lot easier to get rid of split ends before preventing them. Using less heat and conditioning your hair will not automatically glue your strand back together and it will continue to split until it splits to your scalp. Please learn the difference between curing and prevention.

The longer the Hair, the better needs to be the blade, the hair care etc. Because its so much more fragile. These specific cutters are like an adapter to a electric razor, wich could be quite sharp. But the Adapter isnt really used for most men. The first cutters like these, had very cheap Blades and were their own full mashine.

It doesnt cut healthy hair short, it only cuts a very small part of the ends of damaged hair that already are a similar height. The health of the new end will lasts way longer until a new splitt/broken end is there, compared to how more damage there would be if you would have left the old break/splitt.

No, I think that the split ends are already shorter and look bad. They need to be cut so that they don't split any further. If the person takes care of their hair from now on, the split end problem should be solved in a year or two.

I searched Amazon and looked at reviews…. All available are less than a 4 star (3.5 to 3.9⭐️). Cheapest is $60 (on sale) up to $200. I had one of these in the 90’s and it really didn’t work. This one looks like it’s doing a decent job but I doubt it’s a decent price and even doubt if it can truly make a big difference. Would be nice to find this actually working and affordable!!

Чушь. Прекрасный инструмент, у меня такой есть. Насадка выделяет не очень длинную часть волос, так что даже если срежет непосеченный волос, то максимум 1-2 см. После такой процедуры волосы дольше не секутся, т к лезвия машинки острые и не лохматят кончик волоса при стрижке

Split ends are actually cracks in the hair. For certain types of hair, the cracks are longer. When you see “split ends” you’re actually seeing the opened up ends of the crack. The split ends will show back up soon after. The key is to cut it short enough to remove the entire crack. This will, however, look good temporarily.
I take a small section of hair and roll it through my fingers allowing the split strands to stand proud as the hair rolls over the bend of one of my fingers….. it’s kind of hard to explain to be honest. I managed to nip off every single split end a few days ago using this technique. Try and do this in the best light you can find that highlights the split ends too, this makes all the difference.
@@LVAngelradio sit down and listen to a podcast so you aren’t looking up at something ( tv) as you do it. Spread it over a couple of days also. My hair is long and thick so I have to do it in a few stages but once it’s done I don’t need to do it for months. I often do it twice all over as, like you said, much can get missed. When you’re finished you may see the odd one but you can at this point easily just nip it off.

Good idea. Ive had salons use razor combs on my short super thick and textured hair to get rid of my ends. Always RUINING my hair sooo bad. This wouldve saved me years of bad hair

Плюсую за ножницы, Танжер ими можно убирать только посеченные кончики. А полировщик подрезаете все подряд. Я убирала секущиеся кончики в жгутиковый технике ножницами, эффект супер. С первой процедуры прошло лет 10, и сейчас почти нет секущихся концов

Не рекомендую данный метод для того что бы избавиться от секущихся кончиков. Идеальное решение это ручная полировка и следом накопительный уход /процедура. Да - дороже , но с этим мои клиенты избавлялись от секущихся кончиков через 6 месяцев, полотно волос выравнивалось , волосы секутся всегда , но можно поспособствовать и помочь своим волосам выглядеть здоровее , ухоженнее , с правильным подходом к делу.
Я избавилась от сечения волос, сначала подстригала по одному острыми ножницами, потом нашла шампунь с эффектом ламинирования от Сашера-мед , и с тех пор, тьфу-тьфу, кончики изнашиваются, но не секутся, как было, подстригаюсь раз в полгода, как на 10 см отрастает, раз в год, может. Короче всем рекомендую уход для волос и маски там классные и ополаскиватели.
All your hair follicles do not shed at the same rate or time. Meaning some of your hair will naturally be shorter. This doesn’t mean it’s breakage or split ends. It’s hair growing at a different cycle and length. This isn’t doing anything besides thinning your hair and making those pieces even shorter.

If you’re gonna do this, do the scissors not with clippers clippers sketch the hair off which just continues the split end. That’s why you don’t cut long hair with clippers. Hair cutting scissors are razor sharp and slice the hair instead of pinching it which doesn’t cause split ends. So if you’re doing this with clippers, all you’re doing is shortening the hair and creating new splitting.

Regardless is split or breakage...no one wants either one. Theres no hurting by trimming the breakage. You trim that anyways. I have hair to my waist and i love the splitender. Guys, rather try a Calligraphy Cut (cutting the hair with a razor in a certain angle). More expensive but you won't have split ends anymore. I have long, thin and straight hair but since I tried it I only go to the hairdresser twice a year and have almost zero split ends :)

You could straighten it beforehand, like really flat if that's possible for your hair. I know that's damaging to curly hair but the damaged ends then get cut off anyways and you don't do the heat averey day, more like every 3-4 months. Just my thoughts 😊
Aren't you just cutting them?? And then the hair will thin out and maybe even have visible layers. Maybe just get regular trimming so your hair doesn't get split ends in the middle of the length?
You're just going to end up with thin hair which will also eventually break and split. But it's a temporary solution to maybe save your length. Maybe if you oil your hair and don't use heat you can grow it out eventually. Take some supplements.
You can't rid split ends with that device.. You have to section out hair and find the split ends and trim them. Split ends are also what you can't see them..
This looks better than the “splitender”. That thing ripped the ends off my hair, which resulted in literally every hair on my head having a split end!!! You can see that this one is trimming the ends properly.

hair is not all one length. healthy regrowth takes a while to reach the ends of the also ready existing long hair and this would catch the regrowth and trim it too

Good idea. Ive had salons use razor combs on my short super thick and textured hair to get rid of my ends. Always RUINING my hair sooo bad. This wouldve saved me years of bad hair

Плюсую за ножницы, Танжер ими можно убирать только посеченные кончики. А полировщик подрезаете все подряд.
Я убирала секущиеся кончики в жгутиковый технике ножницами, эффект супер. С первой процедуры прошло лет 10, и сейчас почти нет секущихся концов

You can dust by hand…. Twist a sq inch into a cord the ends stick out and if you rough them up more will show and you can snip them accordingly

@@mowgliparkour3447 насадка для полировки волос. Подходит для стандартных машинок. Но херня полная, волос стрижёт под углом, кончик становится тоньше. Сначала вроде бы всё красиво. Но потом ещё хуже. Лет 7 назад был пик на них, я повелась за 1200 купила. Теперь даром не нужна, валяется.

Не рекомендую данный метод для того что бы избавиться от секущихся кончиков. Идеальное решение это ручная полировка и следом накопительный уход /процедура. Да - дороже , но с этим мои клиенты избавлялись от секущихся кончиков через 6 месяцев, полотно волос выравнивалось , волосы секутся всегда , но можно поспособствовать и помочь своим волосам выглядеть здоровее , ухоженнее , с правильным подходом к делу.
Я избавилась от сечения волос, сначала подстригала по одному острыми ножницами, потом нашла шампунь с эффектом ламинирования от Сашера-мед , и с тех пор, тьфу-тьфу, кончики изнашиваются, но не секутся, как было, подстригаюсь раз в полгода, как на 10 см отрастает, раз в год, может. Короче всем рекомендую уход для волос и маски там классные и ополаскиватели.

If you’re gonna do this, do the scissors not with clippers clippers sketch the hair off which just continues the split end. That’s why you don’t cut long hair with clippers. Hair cutting scissors are razor sharp and slice the hair instead of pinching it which doesn’t cause split ends. So if you’re doing this with clippers, all you’re doing is shortening the hair and creating new splitting.
Doesn't work if you have curly hair, unless you straighten it first even then it doesn't work well

Regardless is split or breakage...no one wants either one. Theres no hurting by trimming the breakage. You trim that anyways. I have hair to my waist and i love the splitender.

Guys, rather try a Calligraphy Cut (cutting the hair with a razor in a certain angle). More expensive but you won't have split ends anymore. I have long, thin and straight hair but since I tried it I only go to the hairdresser twice a year and have almost zero split ends :)

You could straighten it beforehand, like really flat if that's possible for your hair. I know that's damaging to curly hair but the damaged ends then get cut off anyways and you don't do the heat averey day, more like every 3-4 months. Just my thoughts 😊

Aren't you just cutting them?? And then the hair will thin out and maybe even have visible layers. Maybe just get regular trimming so your hair doesn't get split ends in the middle of the length?
You're just going to end up with thin hair which will also eventually break and split. But it's a temporary solution to maybe save your length. Maybe if you oil your hair and don't use heat you can grow it out eventually. Take some supplements.
You can't rid split ends with that device.. You have to section out hair and find the split ends and trim them. Split ends are also what you can't see them..
This looks better than the “splitender”. That thing ripped the ends off my hair, which resulted in literally every hair on my head having a split end!!!

I’ve been a cosmetologist and barber for most of my life, if you want help with Fragile hair, I would try the carnivore diet.
Having all of the tiny ends trimmed like this is a lot better than having split ends that keep getting worse and breaking farther up on your head.

Процедура прекрасная, но очень мало кто умеет это делать. Многие срезают сильно концы этой машинкой или пересуживают волосы при подготовке утюжком или феном. В итоге бережнее выходит подстричься. Мне только два мастера попадались, решила не рисковать больше после последнего раза

Сталь ножей для машинок НЕ ПОДХОДИТ для стрижки длинных волос. Только для коротких, т.к. человек стрижётся чаще и снимает основную часть волос за одну стрижку. На длинных волосах сечение будет нарастать с каждой последующей машинной полировкой.
А если человек стригся машинкой, но решил отрастить (то есть стрижется редко теперь)? А что если свои длинные волосы человек стрижет довольно часто? Это вполне нередко бывает.
@@Яна-Алекс нужно ухаживать за волосами…восстанавливать, следить за сечением волос. И перестать делать машинные стрижки. Постепенно волосы восстановятся.
