    Are the lamp stands 71” tall? And use 72 balloons for trunk? Needing specifics. Was looking at a base on EBay and it’s 59” but the one on Walmart appears to be 71”. Thanks.

    • @SandiMasoriPresents
      @SandiMasoriPresents  Před 8 lety +1

      +Jaresa Williams The stands are lamp bases from ikea, walmart, target... anywhere really... as for putting the balloons together, tie them into sets of two and then twist two sets of two together and put onto the pole :-)

    Hi! I will be doing this palm tree for a birthday party that I'm having by the pool area (outside). Can I blow up the balloons a day in advance? Thanks you.

    • @SandiMasoriPresents
      @SandiMasoriPresents  Před 9 lety +1

      Dorie Orengo yes, air-filled balloons will last for several days if kept in a cool area away from direct sunlight. I wouldn't place them outside until just before the party though :-)

    Hi I love this...I just have one question...how long do the balloons stay inflated? I am planning a Hawaiian themed Vacation Bible School so I was curious how long the balloons would last...as well were can I buy the Palm Frond Balloons so that they're not very expensive...thanks for your time! :)

    • @SandiMasoriPresents
      @SandiMasoriPresents  Před 8 lety +1

      Air-filled balloons should stay inflated for a few days without any trouble. Longer actually, but I never do them more than a couple days in advance. As for the palm fronds, you can find them through any balloon distributor. They are not available through party stores though to my knowledge

    Hi sandi how many balloons does it take to make a 6' inch palm tree?

    • @SandiMasoriPresents
      @SandiMasoriPresents  Před 9 lety

      Adrian Almaguer It depends on the size of the pole, and the size of the balloons. The one here has around 18 quads of balloos sized to about 6" each on a 6' pole.

    Are those orange balones for the base?

  • @Knoxvillepartymagicfun

    Thanks for sharing Sandi... I have a question.. I'm making palm trees this weekend. My tree will be about 9 feet tall. I've done this exact same tree before & it almost looked perfect except for the fact that the trunk was the same size from the top to the bottom. Is there a guide line to when to start making the balloons smaller to make the tree look more natural.. for instance, should I start reducing the size mid-way? Thanks again!

    • @SandiMasoriPresents
      @SandiMasoriPresents  Před 9 lety

      Knoxville Party Magic You could make the trunk with some different sizes- if you want it to really look natural though, the top is actually wider than the bottom- so you would want to do a few quads (maybe 3) of wider balloons, and then jump down to the smaller size. After making many different versions of it though, I've decided that I like it best with small balloons from top to bottom. :-)

    • @Knoxvillepartymagicfun
      @Knoxvillepartymagicfun Před 9 lety +1

      Sandi Masori Balloons I prefer it also with the smaller balloons at the top. I recently saw one that had a curved trunk - it was very attractive but I'm not prepared to start bending PVC. Thanks for replying!

      sure, just pay attention that you don't put too much friction on the valve and that you don't over fill them :~)
