Super impressed with this video. Just subscribed. Iâm sharing this video as well. đ
I really admire that you're constantly cleaning after yourself
That what I saw đ
Ă

Phil Hartman's carpenter skit comes to mind.
Clean as you go, less mess later.
Congratulations for
1) not having any kind of music
2) your smart idea
3) your skills
4) not boring to clean
5) the time-lapse
Thank you Konstantinos for the detailed feedback! Really appreciate you taking the time to drop a comment. Super helpful. Really glad you liked the no music approach. It was a last-minute decision which I'm now really glad I did. Have a great day!
Definitely love the no music part. Love the other stuff too, just want to cast extra votes for no music. đ
Agreed
1-3... But the clean and having two drills... That guy is showing off his bogo deal.
So believe or not, after many years of watching "how to" videos on CZcams, this will be the first time i've felt compelled to make any kind of comment. I saw your video and was very impressed with your creation. It was exactly what I needed for my wife and I to use for our projects. I purchased your plans for this table and was able to follow and assemble very easily using the videos you put out. It took me a couple of weekends and i'm very happy with the end result. I did follow your advice regarding the placement of the hinges for the wheels. Great alternative and much less work. The only thing that you might want to edit on your lumber cutout list is in reference to part B of the plywood. You listed part "B" x 4 when in reality one needs six of these. Two more than the listed four to glue onto part "C". Other than that, my completed table lies proudly on the wall, tucked away. Thanks!
Hi Carl. Wow, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and providing the feedback! Really glad you enjoyed the videos and my DIY plans for this. Your story is an encouragement for me to keep making more things like this. đ€ Thank you for mentioning the error with part B. A couple other people have brought that to my attention and I've corrected it since. I'd be thrilled to see photos of your build and feature it in my gallery, if you'd like to email some to me. Thanks again and have a great day!
This is probably the best most relevant and video specific, comment I've ever read.
Well done.
In addition to that, I suggest one other thing. A layout of where to cut up the 4x8 sheet of plywood into its separate pieces.
I'd like to just know where to drop the lines for the cuts ASAP instead of trying to figure the puzzle. đ
Oh, and in the material list. 2x4s (x8) but what length? I'm assuming 8 eight footers?
Loved the videos! Bought the plans, now finally getting to the build! Thanks!!
@@wxviewer I realize this comment is 2 months old but for the sake of others that might have this question whilst learning, the 2x4 pieces listed are studs. Studs are exactly 92 5/8 inches in length. Best of luck!
@@PatrickScott9192 thanks!
This was great. Also, THANK YOU for not adding music. I love the natural sounds.
I get it, but how natural is it? It's sped up quite bit, so I wouldn't say its natural. đ€Ș
@@N1ickem4n chipmunks love it
@@SystemsPlanet why do you hate chipmunks?
The Superman move and crash into the wall was hilarious. Definitely going to build me one of these.
As a person with a 1 car garage this helps out amazingly for space saving.
Future retirement dream ; wood shop.
I'm a woman and I don't do this kind of thing but this has to be the most amazing project I've ever seen.
I am encouraged as a woman, who has always desired to do this kind of craft! Thanks for sharing!
Love love love this! Cleanest workspace ever! Clean as you go is always my motto. Love that thereâs not a lot of talk and just getting to the project. Very cool design. Cute kid too. Weâre subscribing!
Thank you Damon & Tracy! Glad you enjoyed this. đ„°
This is by far the best design I ever see on youtube. Excellent idea of casters attachment. No ad, no BS, right to the essential points. Bravo !
Wow, thanks for the kind words Jason! Really glad you liked it. đ€
I would simplify the casters/legs by extending the length of the table a few inches so that the casters can be attached to the legs directly and not interfere with each other when he legs are folded.
@@nauy The point is that with the casters attached in a fixed position, the workbench wouldn't be that stable anymore.
Note that in the video, he only uses the casters to move the workbench to the desired position, then folds them away, so the workbench is standing directly on the legs, not on the casters anymore (which is MUCH more stable than it standing on the - locked - casters!).
Great build! I really like the idea of being able to collapse the whole thing and store it on the wall. I need to build a shelving unit first, but I will keep this bench in mind for the future. I think my favorite part was the sock dance...just wish it would have gone on longer! Great video.
Love how much attention you put into cleaning your workspace as you go! Very methodical!
Such a great idea! Loved the video! My grandpa was a master carpenter! He would've loved this. He grew up on a tiny island. This reminded me of how he designed a table & benches that dropped down from inside the kitchen cabinets. Gave an illusion of space when they were tucked away.
love how you clean every last bit of saw dust after each cut/drill. :)
Cool build. I just bought a couple of those plastic folding tables to save myself some time and effort. I use it outside at night for astronomy too and I don't have to worry about damp wood warping.
Really appreciate that you don't have any music nor a voice over. Thank you for a great video!
As a millworker, really appreciate the clean as you go/vac use. Little clean up as you work means a safer site/less mess over all. The table is a good idea too
i used to waste a LOT of time being jealous of guys like this with the time, tools, and talent to do these things. then one day, i realized i dont need the talent if i have youtube to show me the way. i was bent out of shape because i couldn't do these things, but instead of staying that way, i started buying the tools to do what they do... SLOWLY OVER TIME. now the last component is time. currently rebuilding a split level deck and it's taking forever because i'm doing it myself after work, in the dark, AND correcting some mistakes the previous home-owner made. so yeah, now i waste a LOT of time being jealous because i am stuck on one major project and can't go do other unnecessary stuff.
Some work lights go a long way
The folding legs with removable wheels is genius. I have a plywood cover for the box of my truck with folding legs to use as a table when off the truck. Your folding leg design with removable wheels would be perfect to make the table even more portable. Cheers!
Awesome! Really glad this gave you some new ideas to consider. đ€
I love watching men build things đ it's my guilty pleasure. Great job!
So clean. So organized. The world needs more of you.
Thank you đ„°
That's rad! This is perfect for my outdoor shop area! Thank you! I'll be building one of these this week.
One word - âIngeniousâ. You proved in this video that creativity has no limits! And, how to make the best with what you have!
Thanks for sharing your idea and making the best video!
Thank you for the very kind reply and feedback Mani! Blessings.
Wow this is something special! Im in the process of designing a small workshop shed for my garden, constantly trying to think of creative ways to use the pace well....this may have just shot up that list! Thank you for showing!
I have been doing home woodworking for 40 years and have owned every woodworking tool imaginable... You are a MASTER at using basic hand tools to make beautiful things! You remind me of our fathers and grandfathers that built a finished basement with only a drill, circular saw and a jigsaw!! I don't know how you learned all this, but you must have been taught by an "old timer".
Thanks! This was only my third woodworking project and everything I know has been self thought. Pretty sure I'm far from being a "master"... đđ
I like build videos that DON'T require Master Level skills and really expensive tools. This video meets those requirements I am quite sure I could build this with the skills and tools I have with just a couple new ones like the pocket hole jigs. Keep up the good work and I would like to see more ideas to try.
This guy is a rockstar! Freaking love this!đ„
Love how this bench tucks out of the way for floor space nicely done.
great design. Well constructed. Great camera work. win win win.
Now that is rad
Word! Rad indeed!
Thank you great video, excellent technique, I really appreciate your fast forward video and no music
Thanks very much Humberto for letting me know what you liked about the video! That's super helpful. đ
I purchased your plans and built it. I love it. I made some slight changes like 1/4 inch x inch lag bolts for mounting the caster wheels.
This is the perfect addition when needing a spacious workbench that stores so I can park my truck in the garage. Thanks.
This is the PERFECT solution that I was looking for in the area of my tiny garage. Thank you so much!
2 years later this is more like a $250-$300 project. I just ordered everything from HD and it was about $250 and I had a couple of the screws already. Great project, just what I was looking for.
Love how you clean as you go. It virtually eliminates the big clean up at the end. I'm going to try it on my next project.
Finally, someone who understands! Thank you! đ
lol đŽ tell the trurh, your wife hollers at you whe she see sawdust
Plus, he's not tracking it around to places he might not notice later in the process!
@@stuff4salefromkraigzlist281 I never said she didn't. ; )
Now Iâm going to build mine. You just saved me SO much space in my garage. Thank you for the video
The constant vacuuming is admirable! Also such a simple and practical build! Awesome đ
Nice job! I had an old oak desktop, put folding metal legs on it and then put 2 hooks on it to hang on the wall...took me 15 mins.
đđ
I would highly recommend the dust collection attachment for the pocket hole jig, works incredibly well and it seems you are very focused on eliminating dust right as it is made, so I would consider this a worthwhile investment
Hey Matthew, yeah, I've looked into it. Problem is that my shopvac hose doesn't seem to fit any of the attachments. đ€ Thanks for the recommendation.
@@VisualSpicer understood, I had the same issue, so I just got a transition piece from the hardware store for a couple bucks. Just a suggestion
Cara vocĂȘ Ă© o cara. ParabĂ©ns pelo trabalho perfeito e super limpo.
I love the way you keep your garage so clean and organized. It take ms less than a minute to vacuum after a few cuts. Hopefully I can pick up this amazing habit. Awesome job.
Thank you Lex! Love keeping the workspace tidy. đ
This is great! My husband would never have it tidy enough to put back on the wall though lol
Hell I wouldn't have thought to shop vac the saw dust lol
Very cool design! I can't imagine having enough wall-space or ever fully emptying my worktable though!
Exactly my thought - cool project, but it seems a rare scenario that someone simultaneously does not have floor room for a workbench, but has plenty of wall space.
Really enjoy and appreciate your production style. Humor, intelligence and fabrication skill! Who wouldn't like it?! Thank you
The most impressive part of all this is that it was done in only 15 minutes.
Watched the whole thing. NASA precision. Would love to see this design, 1) brought to consumers, and 2) the originator cash in big from it.
Yes hard to find the orginator, I saw this video czcams.com/video/RGwB6Tq2Alk/video.html
done months before this one.
The first half of the video I'm like "man why is he doing all this work on the floor?" And then I realized, at some point he thought that too so he decided he needed to build a work bench.
Haha, yup, working on the floor is not optimal. So glad I don't have to do that now! đ
Hahahah!!!! Duh! This comment made me laugh! TY
LOL!
Now I'm starting to see all the workbench builds like this.
I now have OCD by proxy!! đđđ
Awesome build my friend, thanks for making this video! Has given me much inspiration to build one for myself. đđ»
Imagine how much shit you could get done if you really could work at that speed! After he drilled all those holes using that jig, whew, I had to sit down and take a break!!
This is an awesome invention. I really should build a couple for my garage.
Only thing I would have done differently would have been to bring the 2x4's all the way to one edge of the table and make a quick release attachment for a vise... and maybe one that will work with a grinder too... and maybe shield that end with some sheet stainless steel. lol
I would always recommend leaving at least one side resest. A wood worker always needs an edge for clamping purposes.
Excellent Job! Attention to detail is awesome!
Super wykonanie đ«Ąpozdrawiam
Love to see none adding music video like this
Thank you Linh. Glad that worked well for you!
Im not a fan but i enjoyed
I was just telling my daughter I wanted to build her a table that folded against the wall...lol

Last night, I spoke to my wife about a table that could be stored flat against the wall. Today, this video is suggested... One might think CZcams is listening.
Oh, they are listening.
Bro. Your right.
I think your wife just gave you "the face" and your typed it in the searchfield ;-)
i love that part where just at edge of off camera you smash ur face into the wall LOL

Turn it vertically on the wall, so it only takes up 30 inches of width.

Hola
That's nice. I built a wall mount work bench hinged to the wall. I really like the wheels and the lock up on the wall.
How have I not seen this already? Only took a year but I finally saw it today. I need to make this project!! Thanks for posting.
Favorite parts:
The saw that goes "Whaaaaa"
and the sander that goes "Wheeeeeeee"
This is the most OCD person on CZcams. Dude vacuums after every time he does any drill or cut haha. But dope workbench.
Hah, you got me there, I do try to keep things very tidy and wood shavings drive me crazy! đ
Most finish carpenters vacuum during work.
VisualSpicer need a backpack vacuum
Saw dust on concrete can be deadly.
Hah, great idea! đ€
Ok. First things first! I completely lost it when you went flying across the garage! That was F-ing HILARIOUS!!! Cool bench!
yup i can relate to Carl Calderon below ... just finishing up the project myself ... used 4X4 throughout and a few different parts : foot press wheels, interlocking plates for the center member, 2X 3/4" MDF surface with shellac finish AND the piece de resistance -- T Track cross hatch ... just a tad over $150 BUT well worth it ... i'll finish the edging with some maple eventually ..
thanks very much for this inspirational video
*watches him ride the table across the floor* admit it... you built it expressly for that purpose đ
Haha, you got me there Travis. That's all I do is surf my table around the garage. đ
@@VisualSpicer it's a neat table setup. Handy if you need the open floor frequently.
In the description you could put the cut measurements.
That's all indicated in my downloadable DIY plans, which is linked in the description. đ
