Me:Hmm... sounds familiar
Bannerlord flashbacks
Early April bannerlord hype was bliss though. Hot weather here in the UK, lockdown walks. Lockdown was only 3 weeks long at that point. It was truly amazing for me
@@dadshouse3349 I'm only planning to get it the upcoming summer because news about big mods being in development finally and the MMO thing is out which looks great
Hey I'm really new to channel but I'm starting to like it keep it up
This game seems fun nice way to change up your content!
It physically hurt me to watch you read "buy until" and "sell all above" in the trade menu and think you were buying a flat amount instead of, you know, what it literally says...still, great vid, hope to see more!

Subbed because of you being open about anxiety. Dealing with severe anxiety myself, watching a lot of the currently big games, I end up in near anxiety attack mode.
So thanks for knowing anxiety and offering a bit of relief to viewers 😁
dude yes. relaxing with pixie. I feel like I should be in pajamas watching this
Same
Hopefully you continue this foundation series 🙏🏼
That one guy is either very lucky, or unlucky......
The first two minutes are the true reason im watching this.
This is a cool game! I love that you highlight so many, you got me into so many amazing games! Medieval Dynasty is my new hobby and stress relief :)
Finally a gameplay that will be good to waste my time

Omg yes, I love this. It’s definitely great for relaxing, pease do more of this.
ive been waiting for this!
Yes! Finally I get to watch you play Foundation! I saw the title appear on your youtube yesterday but the video didn't work yet. God, I just love the style of this game. It just makes me happy. Found my morning-coffee vid. Thanks PA
Heey there Apollo I just wanted to give you a few tips about the game. But first of all good start so far! Loved the video!
People want to work near their houses. Always look where people work and live to keep the walking distance a low as possible.
When a villager is on his free time he will fill his needs so food / faith and later extra stuff. Will explain this a bit later on.
When you build stuff make sure to look at the red circles and green.. green is good and red is bad. These will be important later on.
Trading costs alot and dont use your money for the audiance quests. They are not worth it and you van always do them later. They game wont punish you if you keep it all. They will punish you when you fail to complete.
You got the bailiff Office so upgrade that in your manor. Make an extra room so he can explore the mountains for Coal and Quartz etc.
Be carefull when you promote people. This is the part where I explain the food and the circles thingy.
Everytime you promote a villager They want more stuff. So first They are fine with food and faith and when you upgrade them They want clothes and 2 types of food.. upgrade them again and They want luxery stuff and so on. When you upgrade them and you dont have those things They will leave and you have less workers which kinda sucks..
When you upgrade them they want a nicer home. They gain status and they wanna show it so the land value has to go up. This can be done by making a Church (they increase it alot) and also by decrotive things. You’ll figure that one out. If you draw the green housing part you see the ground turn greener and ofc the greener the better but a newcomer wont live there but a commener will.. and so on.
As a final tip.. buy tools and cloth with trade you’ll need those sooner or later (like at the end of the vid) Hope this helps! Enjoy!
Ps Thanks for the chill vid its a nice chance!
Btw sorry for the spelling errors.. its 4:27 am and my phone isnt on default english 😂
Okay.. so.. i said you dont have those things when you upgrade then that are those needs. Food / water / faith / food2 / luxery and all that good stuff.. so let them fill there needs 😅 Lets hope this doesnt make it way more confusing 😂
Great progress for the first episode
Thanks apollo you are the besttttttt
i love how the roads are made
I was like, I’m gonna find something chill... literally first video on my Home!!
You’re amazing Apollo and you are right! Sometimes people just need to chill, specially after a hard day at work. You do you and we will support you dude!! 💜💜

Karl really deserved better, he needs to be a commoner or above.
I'd love to see more of this
Behold the Apolonians! The Harem Founders !!
I have a medieval city builder fever since yesterday too!! probably because of Manor Lords news from Resonant. Now I'm looking for good new ones, if I can't find one probably Banished will be installed again.

Games like this are so much fun.
I love these kind of games and one of my fav you tubers playing how it get better than that
Apollo:I played this game before Also Apollo:how do I turn someone into a serf
Wow I definitely put on your videos before I go to sleep to chill out to
This is such a cool game. Please keep playing!
Keep this Series going
This is a bit of a long comment but I hope it can help you be stronger in the game. I tried my best to give all information I know, I might have missed a few but I don't think it's too terrible. Anyone can add to this comment if they find something I missed.
regarding the fence: click on the wall button beside the build button and you can build walls and drag out to build longer walls.
be careful when you promote people, the higher their status the higher their demands. As an example a Citizen will be unhappy if you don't have a luxury market with jewels or good clothes, making you lose more money, Citizen will also dislike having a job like woodchopper or stonecutter, making them less happy. on the other hand a citizen pays more than a commoner, serf or newcomer.
please overlook grammar mistakes, but do ask if I confused you about something.
what's a good idea:
upgrade few people to the next rank and move those you upgrade to higher/better jobs.
buy land, you get very few lands for free and your village will expand quickly, plus when you reach max gold you lose money, as of now there's no real consequence to be in debt, so it's better to buy. (there's one disadvantage to be in debt, you will can't build new things.)
you should probably add a little more to the Lord's manor at least 1 expansion to get the bailiff's office as it can end up giving you cheaper trades or other advantages.
quick note if you add a second building to your lord's manor you can make a treasury which increases your gold limit by X amount. (you can increase height of your building which does increase the building cost but also the advantages of them like splendor).
keep the residential zone close to the market and church as they increase happiness in a relative small radius, and make sure production like woodchoppers and stonecutters are further away since they makes people unhappy.
wells are good to have within residential areas as they increase happiness. you will find people are more likely to build close to things that increase happiness but if there's no spot close enough
they'll build as close as they can. do not put wells near production buildings like stonecutters as they don't belong there.
don't be afraid of moving your production buildings, your starting position has to be your town center, meaning you have to work out from there, so pushing your woodchopper further out of your center is a good idea, as it makes the land more attractive to people if they don't live directly next to a production building.
you should probably build more market stalls by now. so people can buy other necessities other than food. or more food stalls otherwise people will start to starve. and leave your village.
small tips:
if you sell make the number higher than 10 since that means you sell your stock till there's only 10 is left of that resource. berries = 10 means you sell all your berries in stock above 10, example you have 60 berries and sell to 10 then you sell 50 berries if they can afford or need it. the higher your sell number is the fewer resources you sell.
when you buy stuff like tools set it higher as well because the merchant will check how many of that resource you have and if you have above the number you want to buy (if you want to buy 5 tools when you have 7) he'll skip selling you tools.
the numbers when it comes to buying or selling is how much you want to have available for your own village, not how much you want to buy or sell. example if you say you want to buy 5 tools and you 7 available set the the buy function to 12 tools because the the AI will read it as you want to buy 5 more tools (7+5=12) and therefore it will sell you 5 tools exactly, if you want 100 tools and you have seven then put it as 100 and the AI will sell you 93 tools (over time as it doesn't come with that many tools ever).
always remember that the number you place in the trade window has to be what you want your village to have available, not how much you want to buy or sell. otherwise you can't put 99999 into the system as you either wouldn't have it available to sell or you would have too many resources for it to sell that much to you.
you can put multiple resources in to one warehouse or granary that will increase how much you can store of that resource. (for 1 spot I believe you can store 100 resources and for 2 you can store double).
the larger you build something the longer it will take to complete and the more resources it demands, but you get more splendor and sometimes other advantages like a larger gold limit.
when you build your wooden keep don't be afraid to hire a lot of soldiers (or as many as you like) since the king can ask for your aid in battles the better your soldiers and the more you have the
longer they can fight and the more resources you can get from it. (gold, weapons, blueprints and so on)
blueprints when you learn about them can give you new things to build like statues of knights or new church designs.
the ring around some of the buildings tells you a lot, if it's red in decreases happiness to all who live near it, if it's yellow/green it increases happiness to who lives near it.
don't put buildings like woodchopper on the other side of planet to avoid making people unhappy, everyone wants to live pretty close to where they work.
It's rarely a bad idea to stockpile resources, especially when it comes to food items. (especially if you've turned disasters on).
you can see what jobs you have available in the job window in the bottom left you can also see what jobs are filled up. there's small round green buttons by the side of available jobs you can press
which immediately hires someone who's unemployed (the more unemployed you have the more times you can press the buttons) these buttons doesn't show near filled positions like your woodchoppers. (the military is the only job that doesn't have a limit to how you can hire)
when you build your wooden keep do also build training dummies as they can increase your soldiers abilities to fight meaning you can fight in campaigns longer and get more rewards and they will survive more difficult missions making them higher rank which in turn makes the more capable of handling more difficult missions.
you can upgrade soldiers in the great hall they are free to upgrade. and do equip your soldiers with better weapons when you can. as it will greatly increase their success chance in combat.
when you place a building like a wooden keep you can click in the 4 arrows that blinks that will allow to increase the height of the building. most buildings within the monument tap have those 4 arrows.
bad Ideas:
build residential areas far away from the market, the market is the place people get their food and other necessities building your residential area too far from the market means you need to build more markets.
be afraid to buy and sell stuff, your villagers like there to be a bit variation to what the market sells. the more advanced the item being sold is (example a loaf of bread) the more costs and the more you earn.
upgrade you residents immediately, not only does it it cost a lot to upgrade your residents but they will demand more as a result especially luxury wares like jewels. and they won't like to do specific jobs like woodchopper stone cutter, but will like to work as a tailor or baker. (or lower jobs regarding their status)
have too many per job, it's a good idea to fill your jobs up but avoid having too many on a specific job, otherwise you lose happiness.
build small, it's true you save resources on building small but you get nowhere or have to build a lot more to reach certain thresholds like clergy splendor. do build what you need but don't be afraid of
using a few more resources to build example a bit higher tower.
just building where there's room, a place like the granary is better close to areas that creates food because it take shorter time to transport to making your foragers work longer and with fewer stops. the same counts for your warehouse.
only build one of each building, it's usually better to have multiple production buildings but not too many. (one berry bush can support 2 gathering camps though not fully staffed).
So happy this is back
This is the Bob Ross of gaming.
Please complete a full series please
In the future, I'd make a zone for wood cutting and a zone for growing trees. That way you can just swap back and forth.
