Hello, I just found your video, and I really appreciate you taking your time to create this and explain things slowly. I've been watching several cushion cover videos that I'd like to try and make for outdoor bench. As for sewing this together, if I just leave out the piping would I basically use the same techniques? Also, I'd like to keep the cost down on the fabric, and I was thinking perhaps polyester broad cloth 70/30% mixed with cotton. Do you think it would work, or could you recommend something else that might be reasonably priced? :) Thank you, to both of you!!

      Paul

Where did you find your little tin cup that is on your sewing machine? I have one that I found at a yard sale, the most handy tool of the trade. I would love to get more but cannot find them. Zippers are a bad word in my book, I am not smart enough to figure the zipper out, so I buy at store the length I need. Did pick up little clips to use instead of pins and they work out really nice. I get so tired of jabbing myself, and the blood of course , gets on the fabric. I am what they call a free bleeder, something my Mom passed on to me. My son is a hemophiliac, fought THAT FOR YEARS. He is now 40 and he is not so bad any more. I am still praying for you I say my prayer for you every day I unwrap my American flag and say my pledge allegiance. I had a lady the other day bring my in a desk chair, that she had stripped all the fabric off and she wanted me to help her put back together have you ever had this happen to you? Thank you Lord it was an easy fix. Once the word gets around that you can upholster, all the sudden they come out of the wood work, and they do not think you would charge them. My daughter has a ottoman that she wanted covered and she picked black velvet that she knew I had but this fabric did not come cheap. Then she thought she should get it done free, am I a bad Mom because I think she should at least pay for the fabric? You do not have to answer, no getting into family squabbles. I really enjoy your lessons, how about upholstering a desk chair so people can see it is a lot of fun. Have a GREAT DAY!!
