Great video and setup, I REALLY hope you turn off all the lights and make it as dark as you possibly can for movie nights though. 😉

Does the image look sorta wash out in person too, or is it just the camera? Maybe its just not fair to compare them to back-lit tvs, im not sure since I just found out about laser tvs

Actually, you need to review that new LG UST that came out last month. Less than 4 inches away from the wall produces a 100" image so this would help reduce the issue if image/cabinet height requirements stated in this video. I love how many new USTs are coming out and I really think this category is going to blow up because a 100", 300lb, Flat Panel TV not only costs way more but also weights way more.

Home theater at its best! I guess it looks better with that ALR screen but w/ lots of install works, makes me wonder how it'll look w/ just the wall. 360 sounds are awesome too. Now that's one great tech to splurge on if I win the lottery :) Cheers!

I've seen the difference between wall vs ALR screen. you get way more color contrast and intesity with ALR, specially in daylight. the wall is fine to use in dark environnement, however I guess it's sad to not enjoy the full capacities of such a masterpiece

Great review. The image looks a little washed out in a brightly lit room. Would be perfect in a darkened, dedicated theatre room tho.

I just bought the AWOL LTV-3500 and a 120inch ALR screen and boy is it incredible. Check it out, as it's possibly the best UST projector on the market.

I'm holding out for 8k ust projectors to.launch later this year and hopefully 120 fps support comes to j I know Hisenseate doing 8k this year and have talked of potentially support for 150 and maybe 170 inch at 8k. Only prob Hisense doesn't support 3d, so I'll prob wait for the compete to step up the following
