(Online connectivity and peer-to-peer issues are to blame, and even with a speedy upgrade I got recently… I suppose my online stats in Smash will remain a permanent blank…) I really need to spend time with live players in-person instead; only when I have the time to. I don’t have that many people to play with as much as I would’ve wanted to these days…
@@TomMooreT2S Though online is a good way to improve, it’s not the only way. Plus, online can be garbage sometimes. 😊 They are discords. I’m gonna be honest. I tend to avoid them. Never been involved honestly. 😅 You can improve visually by watching players or learn from other CZcamsrs who play your character. CZcamsrs are basically your cheat sheet. 📝 Ask them questions if you have any. You might be lucky to build a connection or form bond with them. You might find someone with my personality 😭.

You know, of all the fighters in Smash, Zelda appears to be the most devoted in promoting Smash behind the scenes. Kirby and Pit are kinda up there too, others like Mario have a great sense of humility for the crossing over of franchises, and others… are just there because Smash wants them. Zelda is more or less the unofficial face of Ultimate’s theme of bringing everyone over. She’s like the “teacher’s pet” of Master Hand. No fighter in the past had this sense of devotion. Just think for a moment for past Smash titles, who else had this dedication? No one, but Snake and Sonic were close in Brawl’s theme of introducing 3rd parties, but they couldn’t care less how Smash is. OOT Zelda was shy, TP Zelda was too serious (given what happened in her game), but their descendant, Ultimate Zelda, the writing’s on the wall! :) The real reason why she wasn’t in Smash up until Ultimate is because she wasn’t of age yet and was still learning the Triforce of Wisdom at the time those games were released.
I like the idea of her as Master Hand's "teacher's pet" lolol...I wish she had a bigger role besides being captured in SubSpace, but like I guess you get the LOL at Sheik drinking tea...
1. Question. (And ignoring Pokémon type weaknesses) Would wind and lightning be effective against fire? If my experience with the Era of the Wilds Zelda titles taught me something, lightning doesn’t seem to have a known weakness. In Kirby Star Allies however… Let’s make it a little easier: Fire - effective against ice (and plant life) but vulnerable to wind, water, AND ice Water - effective against fire and lightning but vulnerable to ice AND lightning Wind - effective against fire (and for sweeping leaves) Ice - effective against fire and water BUT vulnerable to fire Lightning - effective against water, metal, and pretty much just anything that has no resistance to shock but vulnerable to water Then where does that leave Time, Shadow, Twilight, and Light? Light and Shadow effective against each other and Twilight is the perfect balance of both. Time’s weakness… it has none… it consumes EVERYTHING… naturally. 2. She knows what Kirby says, she knows what Mr. Game & Watch says, but she doesn’t understand Pokémon except Mewtwo and Lucario. Kirby is the type to understand ANYTHING no matter the form of communication. 4. Can you imagine? Taking a tour around the Smash Falls… I wonder if the cuisines are top quality. Probably pricey, but “FINE DINING!” 5. Link still hasn’t paid off his debts for war crimes… Speaking of, not a lot of people are uploading TOTK build compilations lately… I wonder why. You know, given how the Hero of Time is remembered by the Hyrulean Royal Family but nobody else in the “canon” timeline, you’d think that even Zelda should have respect for the young hero. HE DID WARN HER ANCESTORS OF THE IMPENDING DOOM IF NOTHING WAS DONE. 9. Speaking of soldiers storming through mansions, I was playing TimeSplitters: Future Perfect recently. One level has you storming a mansion full of zombies and nightmare-inducing monstrosities like the Deerhaunter… Nightmare fuel… 😱 10. Luigi’s Mansion 4 should eventually up the dread atmosphere and introduce a Queen Vanessa-like monster to stalk Luigi to up the fear factor. 11. Zelda should spend time playing with Pikachus. Kirby is proficient with that. 12. I believe that Mii is going to have some time off at the Smash medical center after that… Zelda should visit those folks very now and then. 13. Did Bowser just clone himself and attempted executing Order 66 on our beloved princess?! He should be taught a painful lesson! 14. Love the end pic! :D
1. hmmm, I DID think about type effectiveness and giving Zelda armor against “elemental attacks” but then thought it’d be cooler just to have all her kicks & stomps to be invincible 😛 2. He voiced the main villain in TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, whose ultimate weapon is time travel! IT WAS ABSOLUTE COINCIDENCE FOR THE ASSIST TROPHY TO SPAWN A CHARACTER VOICED BY THAT GUY! 4. Ganondorf is supposedly amongst the lowest tiers… I was only counting the ones WAY up there with Zelda being THE Smash ace despite tier positions. Kirby soundtracks are always known for well-composed music! 5. I didn’t notice, but glad you were pleased! :) 6. Nobody knows what’s going on with GMOD. The story goes back and forth everyday… :( 7. Believe it or not, in Smash 4 Wii U, not every stage was compatible with 8-player Smash. I guess the devs didn’t think ahead to upscale the stages or the Wii U was just being the Wii U… Glad you enjoyed them! Feel free taking screenshots! :D
this month was the first time I realised that a lot of folk don't know how to DI her d-throw bc it launches behind her...like the Yink & Wolf KOs wouldn't have been possible that early otherwise. Altho the Wolf at least was DI-ing in to survive since he was being launched out technically...
Remember I mentioned GMOD? Well… Let’s just say Nintendo is “at it”…. Supposedly… The story is back and forth day by day… Nobody knows what the reality is and Nintendo refuses to comment on it… But that’s 20 years of content being drained down the tubes! Why wait until now just to do that?!?
ughhhh yeah from what I've seen, Nintendo is on a mission lately :( I mean, they've always been sorta overly-exclusive with their IP, but I feel like after a decade +, what's to gain from attacking old stuff that has a fanbase growing around it that actually helps promote Nintendo as a brand overall; it's a poor move IMO
the early hits that launch straight up are true into F-tilt and kicks, and since her grab is 2 frames faster than her F-tilt, you technically could grab, but might require DI-in so they aren't launched too far away for grab to hit I think...I'm not very good at Nair-1 yet lol altho I'm working on it ^_^
@@richardszoghy1907 OH that was 100% never never true LOLOL the pika player just let me grab them LOL; you can grab those who shield after being hit by Nair or mash something slow like a smash attack, but all they have to do is jab or grab you back basically and you're toast...I only did it to see if I could lol, but I wouldn't recommend it; I get punished a LOT for going for this.

4. Ganondorf is supposedly amongst the lowest tiers… I was only counting the ones WAY up there with Zelda being THE Smash ace despite tier positions. Kirby soundtracks are always known for well-composed music!

7. Believe it or not, in Smash 4 Wii U, not every stage was compatible with 8-player Smash. I guess the devs didn’t think ahead to upscale the stages or the Wii U was just being the Wii U…

this month was the first time I realised that a lot of folk don't know how to DI her d-throw bc it launches behind her...like the Yink & Wolf KOs wouldn't have been possible that early otherwise. Altho the Wolf at least was DI-ing in to survive since he was being launched out technically...

ughhhh yeah from what I've seen, Nintendo is on a mission lately :( I mean, they've always been sorta overly-exclusive with their IP, but I feel like after a decade +, what's to gain from attacking old stuff that has a fanbase growing around it that actually helps promote Nintendo as a brand overall; it's a poor move IMO
Landing nair launcher into grab on low percent is such a clean optimisation... Is that true?
the early hits that launch straight up are true into F-tilt and kicks, and since her grab is 2 frames faster than her F-tilt, you technically could grab, but might require DI-in so they aren't launched too far away for grab to hit I think...I'm not very good at Nair-1 yet lol altho I'm working on it ^_^

@@richardszoghy1907 OH that was 100% never never true LOLOL the pika player just let me grab them LOL; you can grab those who shield after being hit by Nair or mash something slow like a smash attack, but all they have to do is jab or grab you back basically and you're toast...I only did it to see if I could lol, but I wouldn't recommend it; I get punished a LOT for going for this.

@broakroze it can be true on no DI / DI in at specific percents, eg SH buffered on M2 at 70% iirc
