I've seen lots of photography channels on CZcams and they all are too busy talking about specs and sharpness while you are creating legendary photos with the same gear!! Your photos are so insanely Awesome I literally thought the thumbnails to your videos were clickbait!! Seriously, why don't you have like 10 million subscribers already?!

Found your site and this was the first video of your's that I have viewed. I really enjoyed it and also like how you add some factual side points of interest. I did want to point out that I really like that you display the EXIF data for your shots. I wish others would do that. It does help with the learning process as I see a shot and then work backwards in my mind as to why those particular camera settings were chosen. I look forward to viewing your past and future videos. Thanks.

Wow that is a great day of birding mark. You did well with the Common Yellowthroat, waiting for it to come to you. It looks like Australia's Eastern Yellow Robin, and in the last shot of it it is perching just like our EYRs do. I really do like yellow-coloured birds being my favourite colour. Well done with the Tricoloured Heron, the D500 grabbing focus without you being able to see. In have noticed that in all Osprey photos I see carrying a fish they seem to intentionally orient the fish along their centerline for aerodynamic purposes I guess.

Thanks for all the great compliments! It was a great day for sure. Ospreys do seem to know how to carry the fish so it is easier to fly.

What an awesome channel. Your narrations are so good it’s like watching a David Attenborough doco.

I happened to stumble onto your channel and love it. Your skills at photography and narrating are a great combination... keep up the great work! One question is could kindly answer. Now that you have also used the Sony A9 for birding, how do you feel the D500 compares overall? I am looking at both and due to available lens and the extra reach of the crop sensor, i am leaning towards the D500.

Hi Mark, I really enjoy these videos...very cool to "come with you" on these adventures.
The Heron shots especially are inspiring. The one in flight, that is one incredible capture, just superb.
I also am fascinated by the songbirds hunting ability, I see it all the time as well, and it's just amazing.
Did you use any camo? seems like you got really close to some of these guys...

Glad you enjoyed the video. This one was a lot of fun. The heron gave me a great few captures! No, I don't wear camo. I've found that if you spot some of these birds and just wait a little, they will often forget you are there and come very close either that or I get very lucky!
