Patiently waiting for the TS 60
when you're a woodworker one thing you will learn is where to apply force how much which direction etc. this will make all the difference in a proper cut. and you must consider variables as minute as they may seem. people may not think about it but the sponge under a rail is a variable and it can alter the cut if force is not applied straight down and forward as sedge suggests. Another variable example is a home made router table top. if the surface and fence are not dead flat and perpendicular, you introduce error in the cut that may not be visible at first but can affect assembly.
Awesome! Thank you! Sedge you're the best!
Good evening from Cape Town South Africa
Great value. Nice cut
Late to the party, so watching the replay in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The point about the rapid clamp you didn't mention is that it is useful when the regular under rail clamps don't have anywhere to mount. for example you have a plywood carcass that you need to trim off half an inch all around on one side that is where this is useful
Good evening in Cape Town
I'm from cape Town too festool ....
Thanks for the great video. What I haven't been able to understand is when using this system how do you keep from cutting into the surfaces below the sheet of plywood you're cutting? I see most work is on a surface and they cut through the sheet they are working on.
What keeps you from cutting into your work table?
Good morning from Philippines 🤙
wicked important. Thanks for the pissa video. I watched it three times and it was nippa.
Sedge, can the 1.5 mm blade be used on the 55 track saw or is it only used on the new TS.
Hi when I fit my suction clamp to the rail the battery on my ts55 KEB catches the side of the Suction Cup so the saw doesn’t pass! Any ideas please
Steve
Still waiting for a 3000mm long LR32 rail, Festool!
Hey Sedge, why is there a folded guide rail on top of the cabinet please.
The insulation saw isc240 works on the rail too just like the psc (16:29)
Not available in North America
@@Tsz2g4f do you know why?such a great tool
No not sure. Maybe work regulations?
@@Tsz2g4f it’s a pretty big saw, double click to switch it on incase accidental switch on,
I think most places still have the CMS system but over here in the uk we don’t because of safety, basically because your permanently switching on a machine.
The new TS 60 fits in the FSK right?
Yes! The TS 60 is compatible with our FSK guide rail!
most people can afford either a long truck or the long guide rail but never both!
😂
Festivities start at 3:26.
and end at 29:35 .
Ouch. I'm sorry to sound like a broken record, but there's a ton of digital distortion coming from his mic.
A 40 minute clip with 10 minutes of info and 30 minutes of drama.
Is this about Festool or about the host? Imho going in the wrong direction.
thousands dollars tools and you let dilettantes doing demos.
