My team and I went all Dragapult against the opponent's team. At the 2:30 mark they surrendered because it turns out four Dragapult flying around in circles turns the game into bullet hell.
Also, Slow Smoke is great here since it slows down Dragonite and it's on a low CD
Dragapult with shadow ball and dance is a lot better than I thought it would be

I was the Dragonite in the first round, Shulong!UT, and I do believe E-speed dragonite is the most broken pokemon for this mode, its only flaw is that it cant hit dragon dance dragapult and goodra walls it pretty well.
No, it can hit dragon dance dpult since it's not stun-resistant. You just need to be close enough which isn't that hard to do.
@@MusicCometnot when the cooldown is so low you can infinitely chain dances as long as you wait till 30%+ to exit the dance
@@Churros_are_Overrated That doesn't make it unstoppable and it's hard to recover from a stun during ddance because dragonite just stuns so often.
@@MusicComet as long as you stay away it’s pretty hard for a dragonite to catch you. And most of the time you aren’t having a 1v1 in this mode. If you get caught you are definitely cooked but with eject button and shadow ball Dragapult can traverse the map extremely quickly and go through obstacles faster than dragonite can
I think it's really between espeed dnite and pulse goopa. Edrift miraidon can compete at times. But those two are the kings
You don't have to just play the Dragon mode. You can also complete certain missions in Ranked and Standard. One of the Pokemon I picked is Dragapult and one of the missions is getting KOs with Dragon Dance which is just outright IMPOSSIBLE in this mode due to low cooldown Crowd Control. But I can farm the mission in the Standard A.I. mode.

Thank you for explaining it. I picked Dragapult, but I don't have the license to use it outside the Dragon Mode though. I was sucking hard at this event because I can't even level up properly. Lol

it sucks, literally multiple dragapult and goodra is much more insane, tried it with 3 peeps and we got demolished by a garchomp, 2 dragapults, and a dragonite
Miraidon would be totally insane, except the problem is that like 95% of people who play it have no clue how to play it optimally. Electro drift is OP but it is a speedster build with a high skill ceiling and every other Miraidon teammate I have had so far has no idea how to play it correctly.

Drain crown is actually pretty good on dragonite with the outrage, and dragapult is a high skill high reward pokemon due to its high mobility with dragon dance, but it kinda gets countered by extreme speed
I had Dragonite and Garchomp chosen, Garchomp's mission was to KO 30 opponents with boosted attacks which seems bad for this mode.
That doesn't seem that tough since it relies on boosted atk to carry anyway
All the quests can be done in any mode even the NPC mode.

And also, good luck outdamaging your opponent with your autos with all the low cd cc theyll have
From my experience so far, Goodra is most busted. It can be nearly immortal with its health regen. One match had me in a 1 v 4 with the opposing team and I was holding my own for a while.
I've always been picturing the spiderman pointing meme every time me or my allies get rayquaza, if we're all using the same dragon. And it makes sense.
Unlimited dragon dance Dragapult is super fun, especially with full heal being on like a 8 second cooldown or something like that
Its actually a 11/12 second cooldown but that's still great
I just decided to try the dragon event and saw two Dragonite on the opponent team they were just spamming outrage it was like shot on site 😭😭😭

Tips for anyone doing the Dragon Dustup challenges: You can do the challenges in modes other than Dragon Dustup. So that means that if you try to do the challenges in any other mode, like standard or other quick matches, it will still count towards the challenges. Not sure if it works for CPU matches tho.
As for the Goodra mission, ehat I found somewhat effective was this: When an objective was about to spawn, I camped in the grass nearby. Once 2-3 enemies showed up to rip the ovjective and got clustered up in the process, I jumped out and tried to Power Whip them.
Still, you may need some luck even then but it mostly works unless youre extremely unlucky.
Even more effective in bot matches where the bots are gyarunteed to cluater up at an objective

Goodra whip with muddy water is too fun to use during a brawl
I find that the quick modes are best for Pokemon who needs levels to be good (so like Speedsters and Pokemon like Dragonite, which you typically really want the final form).
When you realise that swablu is not a dragon type.
I think it only counts because it evolves into Altaria, which is a Dragon-Type.

Quadruple muddy water is insane when you all stack up it’s so funny
Winners in this mode are Dragonite and Goodra. Duraludon is surprisingly good for secure with D-Pulse.

With duraladon, I had success against dragapult with Flash Cannon. Flash Cannon Dragon tail feels awesome

the quest of goodra is pulling more than two opponents at the same time with power whip for 5 times, which I find literally impossible in this game mode. Still couldnt do it once after playing 10 games.
You can do all the challenge quests in any of the Modes.
You can do the challenges in any other mode
The best thing of this event is you can repeat the mon

Is the select unite licence reward for unite club members only? Or can it be gotten f2p
F2p can also. You need 4k points for the license and 6k for the holowear. And you get 50 per game you win.
I think most op is definitely garchomp, the dragon dragon build literally perma stuns
I haven't seen all the matches yet, but in the first match Spragels is absolutely correct about Goodra being OP with Muddy Water in this mode

@@pkmntrainerred4247 D Pulse is easy to dodge for all the pokemon in the dragon fest. I agree if you land it well you can outplay many a times.

Duraludon can be good but very situational and don’t use flash cannon you scrub.
Miraidon just isn’t good when the cooldowns are so low so i would avoid using it

We badly need support and speedster dragons
Quick tip: Don't choose Garchomp for this, its unique quest asks for 30 KOs from its regular boosted attack. Definitely doable, but way more tedious in comparison to the other quests like 15 KOS with Dragon Dance from Dragapult or 15 KOs from Outrage Dragonite.
Dragonite and goodra are busted on this as goodra can spam dragon pulse and basically infinitely heal itself while Dragonite can spam outrage and infinitely stun without a cooldown
The Goodra challenge has been a nightmare for me, pulling 3 or more Pokémon with one attack while there are only 4 opponents in the game
Basically keep playing goodra and win a bunch of games but on a game you know you’re losing by a mile wait for them to gank back objective and you should get them. I did it in about 12 games

I have all the dragons, which sucks for me, but I'm happy others will get the licenses, definitely a good event to a degree, just wish they would finally do a really good event though, one that draws in more players and surprises everyone, like dropping a bunch of new pokemon all at once obtainable through the event and a bunch of free holoware obtainable through the event, even if they are the least rare skins it would make people happier than stuff like this, there is so much stuff they can do, that other games do and get huge jump in players and add content for creators which promotes the game futher, but pokemon unite seems to constantly miss the mark, either out of laziness or greed either way is always disappointing, love the game, just there is no motivation to play, no reward and it sucks because I want to play it anyways, but know it would push my drive 100% more if they added simple things such as what I named above.
I am not having it this event. My teammates are even worse than casual teammates

They really need to release mons faster and give more ways to get aeos coins, the weekly limit sucks. I'd love to see so many, like why'd they release candle but not hydreigon?

Now choosing the dragon mons there is a catch. Like if I'm going for Dragapult which I already have I will get 14,000 aeos coins!
Now let's look at it again, If I'm going to get Duraludon which costs 10,000 aeos coins and not Mairodon or any other pokemon which is more costlier than Duraludon then it will be more harder to farm to buy those.
If you already have a mon and pick that again, you will only get a 1000 coins my friend. Sorry for destroying your dreams😂
@@SameerYami No man, we will get exactly the same amount of aeos coins. I've tried it a lot and it works. Like when you don't play unite and come back after 14 days you can obtain a unite license for free. I used buy the same pokemon I have to get the same amount of aeos coins.

The fact that the dragonite pass event hollower is so expensive to buy it, is so disgusting over 5000 gems if you are unlucky is so much that at that point you going to buy 2 purple skin on shop or i rather buying a new game at that point.
I hope they make it easier and less expenaive to get old pass hollower (if the pass gives the hollower + the other stuff a bit less of 500 gems at least balance on that kinda prize at least).
I buy a cute blue dragonite hollower on discount.

A lot of the missions arent regetering for me and my wife. Literally got 22 kos in 1 game just auto attacking as garchomp and it is dtill sitting at 0.
Winning a full-burst game mode nets me nothing too. And im 4/5 on the list so it should have counted. I did 12 of them and not 1 counted smh.

Quickmatches in general are kinda busted and inbalanced. They quickly lead into a situation where other side gets exp starved and other side has level lead. From there on fight will quickly snowball into victory, which is why I generally dislike quick matches.
Why is Goodra considered a bad Pokémon? I think it's so fun how she is annoying.
Like, everyone says Wigglytuff and Lapras are bad when playing, but for me their stuns are so annoying.l to fight against.
They're just not as good compared to other defenders. Wiggly has decent stun with sing but you'd probably prefer a healer like hoopa. Goodra has good sustain but little to no stun compared to other defenders who have both (the ult isn't that incredible either). It's not that you can't win with it, it's just kinda there.
@@matheus_oolivif the team covers up on the stuns, they become the best, but in soloq, that's pretty rare
@@MusicCometI mean there’s acid spray which is a hard knock up stun with a dash and then you have gooey which is a massive slow I personally think it’s fine just her range when it comes to her moves are a bit too short and her ult gives you movement speed and makes you unkillable so just go in and defend for your team
@@levibest2409 Yeah but goodra's overall kit even with the miniscule CC, still isn't that good in theory because all it does is soak up damage. Slowbro is different in that he has an insanely good ult and his other moveset is more CC-oriented while goodra is either only defense or healing and there's really nothing else tbh. It's not unplayable but just not good competitively.
