GYEON Pure EVO One Year Update | KD Car Care

- The coating is now one year on the car. I drove about 15.000 miles in this year and washed the car approximately 30 times. Out of this year there was about 4 months of salt on the road.
The coating is still holding up pretty good but you can see the coating loosing its beating abbilitys in certain areas. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
The beading and the sheeting are excellent. I guess the car was maintained the right way. I see no weak repellency spots in the video. I noticed that MOHS EVO somehow does not handle that good if a car is not washed regular. If you let the car pick up some dirt and stain and do not wash it properly within 2-3 months it is really hard to decontaminate the coating. I got the impression that MOHS EVO is not that durable like it is marketed. I installed coatings from other brands that handle that problem much better. Nonetheless PURE EVO is on my list of coatings that i will definitely try. It is promising. Looks like it has a thicker layer by default than the MOHS EVO installed in 1 coat. It is clearly explained that the PURE does not need a second layer and that MOHS can optionally be coated with a second layer for longer durability.
agreed mohs evo is garbage. 9 months and it was was basically dead on my car.

Question - why foam the panel and also use soap in the bucket? Wouldn't the soap in the bucket alone be enough lubrication?

Hey, can you tell how well does Pure Evo handle waterspots? I'm very happy with CQ UK 3.0 + SiC, but it's way more time consuming than one layer of Pure... So if they do a similiar job, Pure seems like a way to go.
Hey, I was in Italy last year and there was a lot of sand in the rain. I washed it off the next day but it had already etched into the paint. Normal rain isn’t as much of an issue but you sadly have to be careful as soon as the is pollen or other pollution in the rain.

Is it okey to spray iron remover( neutral ph) on the ceramic coating ?
Yes. Every few months is good to do a decon of the paint. You don't want to let iron particle sit there for too long.
