- This was an impromptu encore after the full tribute show. A little bit of a nightmare for the sound guys but amazing to see all these legends on the same stage.
Full line up:
Eric Clapton
Doyle Bramhall II
Gary Clark Jr
Kirk Hammett (with Greeny!)
Susan Tedeschi
Derek Trucks
Ronnie Wood
Johnny Depp
Billy Gibbons
John McLaughlin
Robert Randolph
Olivia Safe
Rod Stewart
Imelda May
Joss Stone
Updated the line up and explained the apparent shambles. This was the encore
Don’t forget to mention Nathan East on bass in the line up.
Johnny Depp was superb for every moment visible ?
Yeah it is indeed a shambles but, whatever, iit reminds me of me and my mates jamming in our house,
Plus Rhonda Smith on Bass
Who's the brunette in the little black dress?
To see Billy Gibbons, John McLaughlin and Kirk Hammet as background players is just unreal.
None listed nor present could hang with Derrick Trucks. His wife blew Dep away. There hasn't been a video where Trucks played with a star that they weren't star struck with hs amazing talent. I didn't know one song of theirs before I saw them live last year and I cried 5 times during the show. Highly recommend seeing them.
@@fastj1962 EC taught the young Trucks all he knows, his wife was more enjoyable lmao...
@@fastj1962✌️gonna catch Tedeschi Trucks band next time around, could kick myself for missing them when they played nearby.
@@tedfio1tedfio1 Clapton taught TRucks? WTF? TRucks was killing it when he was 12 dude. I think you are living in fantasy land. Did Trucks look up to Clapton and learn from him? How could he not? That said he was a sponge that took a little from everyone he's come in contact with. Derrick was opening up for BB King at 12 and didn't play with Clapton till he was 27.
HE loved Duane Allman much like Clapton did. It only made sense they would eventually collab. Derrick playing Duanes part on tour with clapton is epic. Love Clapton, but to say he made Derrick is a ridiculous fantasy.
@@KittyGrizGriz You will not be disappointed. My buddy who I saw numerous bands with in the 80 like van Halen, AC/DC and Maiden told me Tedeschi Trucks is the best show these days period. He's not wrong.
Very enjoyable, a stage full of world class musicians, and Johnny Depp was also present.
poser...
He looks so awkward even his own band
" ESTRANHO" ? ESPETACULAR, MULTIFACETADO, GENUÍNO, ÚNICO ❤
As you mention . present ...and on another planet at the same time
Billy Gibbons quietly playing his guitar is so epic. Clapton, Rod, OMG it’s amazing. Biggest jam session ever.
Agree on Billy Gibbons - he is my favorite of them all. Classic!

Billy gibbons is a punk compared to John McLaughlin
Eric Clapton really fulfills his role as the grand master, leading this incredible group of talented people.
almost all of them were talented musicians
He would fulfil it if he went over and told kirk to hand over the Greeny for a go.
God bless Jeff Beck. Big thanks to all who made this happen. Hopefully this gets released on video. Brilliant 🤩
Great idea.
Absolutely fantastic moments. Thanks for posting them. Rip master Jeff Beck
Welcome 👍
I'm envious of Johnny Depp for a bunch of things, but beyond the superficial ones that don't mean squat at the end of the day!, I'm mostly envious of him having had Jeff Beck as a mentor, guitar teacher, Jam Buddy & a mate !.
In every video I see of him (playing?) the guitar, he seems more concerned with how "cool" he looks.
thanks for sharing. Imelda May is fantastic as usual!
Rod and Eric still mega superstars after 50 years on the road.Think it’s easy doing that at 78?Still a major delight to watch for most of us
I'm a 68-year-old vocalist still doing Gillan etc circa 1970, only because I've been sober and had good technique for 50 years. These guys toured hard, partied hard, abused themselves and still get up and crush it. Pretty amazing
Rod?Lol
A diva that skyrocket his carreer with a plagio but you and the most of his fans dont know what iam talking about.
But he does 😆
Jorge ben jor
I followed Rod and Faces since the 70’s ,got to see Faces1975,NJ,you’re talking about do u think I’m sexy and Georgie@@lets_rock_it
Watching these solos makes you realise how special Jeff Beck was
Absolutely! Seeing how much he inspired each of these wonderful musicians is really something.
@@BlackGuardBilly But Jeff’s solos were to the blues what Django’s solos were to Jazz. No one can touch him. He was his own style.
@@nickdryad for sure! His style was unique to him. Only in his tribute would such an all star lineup, including some of the greatest living players, assemble to pay their respects in the best way they know how. Jeff Beck is in rock and roll heaven, smiling down on them.
Just watched the clip of Derek Trucks playing Goodbye Pork Pie Hat with Jeff’s band. Holy smokes. It’s as good as any guitar performance I’ve ever seen or heard, without exaggeration.
I still can’t believe he’s gone. One of a kind legend.
It must have taken a lot of patience dealing with all that talent, it's great to see them jamming and leaving Egos at home. Mr Beck was there too ,in all of em.
McLaughlin in a class by himself but what a group of players. Thanks for the upload. Jeff was in the room no doubt
I was at Winterland John McLaughlin Birds of Fire opened for Jeff Beck Blow by Blow CHANGED MY LIFE!!!!!!!🎉
To the one who recorded this: Thanks very much, what a true wonderful experience being so close to them, all on stage are fantastic in their role!!! To the one speaking on Mc Laughlin: I did, I guess this style is not his cup of tea. To the one speaking on Hammet: Always remember, if you are Satriani student it's impossible you don't now what you're doing in a jam!! Clapton I love ya!! Mr Depp is brave to be up there, why not?? Fuck limits, all Jeff's friends up there, standing for him. Great!
Brave? hahaha
It was tough, but somebody had to do it. 😆 ...you're welcome 👍
It doesn't require bravado to be an egotistical jerk who lacks the self awareness that he had no business being on that stage.
@@duncg8123 Wonderful! 🤩
I was lucky enough to be there! Eric, Rod , Ronnie, Johnny what more can you ask for ❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏
I'am a little bit jealous. Hope you have had a great time!

How fuckin cool is this! For JEFF, thank you ALL for doing that for HIM! So glad that people are still good and can say and do the right thing, for someone, as special as he was. You give me hope not all is lost yet! Bless you all!
LOST!!!😢
❤
Derek Trucks had the best performance here. He always amazes.
And Susan! she nailed it!! couldn't resist a fist bump 😆
He's the goat anyways, no one can come close to his playing, not on that stage, not anywhere.
out of all those guys, those original Brits, Jeff's the one I would have thought would have been one of the last standing. Love your music Mr Beck. Always have and always will.
Many many years ago, I was in Chicago with a bunch of friends. We were walking back to the hotel from wherever it was that we had been at. We were walking by a row of houses. We could hear music coming from the house. I begged my girlfriends to stop and just listen I kept saying to them this is live you guys this is not coming from stereo. There are people in there jamming we hung out there for maybe a half an hour, they all left, went back to the hotel two of us stayed because we were just curious as hell sure enough, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton. Who I now know is John McLachlan (sp) Came walking out of the house. Seriously I about peed my pants.
Oh in Chicago, even the no-names in the local blues clubs can be amazing. Made me consider quitting the guitar after many decades of playing 😁
Insane talent up there! Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart back together again..
When I was young I thought they were the same person!
They looked the same to me too :)
How many of my musical heroes can you fit on one stage. Gosh thank you!
I'd bet Johnny Depp is not one of them. LOL. I mean, why is that poser up there???!!!
@@tommy--k Seriously, I think that they had him confused with Jack White.
Johnny Depp looks as though he's waiting to mop the stage or...idk? I'm sure Keef gave him the tele he was holding. Ahh God bless him🫠
@@tommy--k also Gary Clark Jr. he's been on every stage since blm. He can't play to save his life.

Some true legends and greats on that stage. Cant help but look at Depp and see a caricature of rock and roll.
It's good for Johnny Depp that no one notices he's in it anyway.
I think he’s playing somewhat, not sure
I guess you know, Clapton is still the god😎
After depp quoting that someone should shoot President Trump , he can drop dead as far as I'm concerned !!!!!
That's because you're simple.
What a lineup of Tremendously Talented people,.
.Miss you Jeff!
Derek Trucks is a beast 🔥🎸 and so is Susan ❤️
right on! ...she nailed it and I gave a fist bump of respect at the end there 😆
Yes Derek is the closest thing to having Skydog still with us!
And what a beautiful tribute from ALL of these talented folks, to Jeff, who ALWAYS gave honor and respect to whoever shared the stage.
After all these years ol’ Rod doesn’t look a day older than 108.
That’s what happens when you get old. My suggestion is to take a couple of photos of yourself and contrast them when you are in your 70s and 80s. But what is critical is what happens after one dies, but few think about that.
@@charlescohen6140 well I know I will be listening to their music long after they are dead.
Bwahahaha! Still directing traffic! XD
@@charlescohen6140 Speaking of dying, Keith Richards looks like he has been dead for years.

Ahh Legendary guitar players and Great Actor Johny Depp
Il a pas honte visiblement...
We have half of a millennium of the best guitar playing on the stage! Thanks Dunc! I've got goosebumps when I saw this!
How many people will have recognised John McLaughlin, probably the most technically proficient guitarist after Beck? Not many I'd say.
I did 😊
As for me John McLaughlin is Unattainable height, but Jeff belonges to guitar gods as well
is billy gibbons the guys with the cheap sunglasses?....or the beard?....oh great one?
we need your sage advice douche?
I know who he is but I wouldn't have recognized him here.
Lovely toe see Eric Clapton.
So lovely to see so much love and enjoyment and off the cuff, no pretentious stuff so common in today's music.
Lot of great talent on stage, they were all fans and friends of Jeff, good to see them pay tribute to one of the all time greats of the guitar.
It is always good when these remaining greats can get together and just play music....
It's really a great musical event, so long live the great music
Derek Trucks at 5:02 he's giving us some Jeff Beck licks right there. Great tribute, doing on the slide what Jeff did on the whammy bar.
Notice how they all stepped aside for Derek? Truly a master among masters..
Yeah they all started taking notes lol
Derek is at the pinnacle right now. 100%
Susan T tore it up nicely too!
Dt & ST. Super talented love listening to those two and really awesome to know that as those 60s and 70s great continue to leave us we still have some amazing musicians out there will soon be leading the way.
Seen Trucks with EC many times, Derrick learned from EC's Dominos days lmao...
Все любимые тут 👍... Живите долго и радуйте нас вашей музыкой 🤗.. Спасибо вам!
To me this looks like a bunch of highly talented people meet to have fun together by doing what they could do best.
Great Music Thank you for uploading
This is a rare treat to see these guys all together. Back when I was playing guitar in bands, if I wasn't confident when I was soloing, I just kept my volume down, blended in and went by the notion that if I could hear myself playing I was playing too loud. Johnny Depp looked super cool, but I couldn't hear his solo. I know he can play, but if I was soloing next to Eric Clapton, I'd be fairly intimidated.
Johnny Depp is absolutely unnecessary, in all his bands. Just a camouflage.
You could do what Clapton does; copy all the licks you've ever heard and string them into a solo.
@@csababoros9957 or marketing
Johnny Depp looked like a douchebag.

Unbelievable! Seeing these legends all together on the same stage is formidable.
If Depp had an once of dignity, he'd know he had no business being on that stage with the others.
What a world class jerk he is.
I disagree. Of course, as a guitarist, he doesn't come close to the relevance of most musicians on this stage, especially the honored one. But Jeff Beck and Johnny Depp were friends, so his presence at this tribute is more than important. And as a movie star and actor there's no debating his relevance. Well...
@@EvanJr They were friends. I get it, but that doesn't mean they belong on stage with you. Beck wasn't just some guitar player from a punk band....he was a top notch player who played with musicians of the same caliber. Depp doesn't belong there. I wasn't happy that Beck allowed that guy in his band before he died. The only reason JD was there is because he's a rich and famous MOVIE STAR......not because of his musical talent. He's also a domestic violence woman beater, but I'll leave it at that. I have fond memories of Beck playing with great players, like Jan Hammer, etc etc.......and why he let a punk like JD on stage with him doesn't make sense to me. So after Beck dies, they pile a bunch of legendary players on a stage together including JD. No thanks. That ruins it right there. If JD had any decency, he would have known he didn't belong on stage with those other REAL musical legends. That whole scene is repulsive. .......to me. Yeah, he was Beck's friend. Leave your friends off the stage.
@@jimdep6542 Are you serious? JD was JB's pal, why can't he be on that stage to honor him? Apparently, you deliberately ignore the ruling of the US defamation trial and sides with AH the abuser. It shows what kind of person you are.
@@neotron99 No, JD doesn't belong on stage with those real and dedicated musicians.
He has the money to find another way to honor Beck. So........what kind of person am I ?
