It's wrong though. Supporting what are technically revolutionary ideas is, from the perspective of the elites and Big Money, who exploit the status quo for money and power, a far worse "crime" than beating women. If the status quo changes, so do the means/sources to obtain money and power, therefore it cannot change. The most immaculate person can be treated worse than a pedophile by the media if he wants the "wrong" kind of change (the kind that is meaningful). Chris Brown may have beaten up Rihanna, but he is an obedient dog when it comes to politics, like 99% of the entertainment industry, so he get's a pass.

What he’s talking about is code switching. It happened to me with my grandparents. They were super dark, and we were lighter toned so they never allowed us to speak Spanish. We understood when we heard it but we were told to speak English first. They didn’t want us to get treated the way they were. That way we wouldn’t have an accent and were treated better by the “establishment.” At the same time to our peers were viewed as white washed and losing our culture. So it’s almost a lose lose because the twin blade of racism.

Ever hear of Nat Turner? He was an educated slave. It was through his education and avid reading that he discovered his human worth and potential. Look him up if you’re not familiar. Turner is the reason that slaves and free black people in the southern states were not allowed to be educated. It actually became a law to keep them ignorant. That is why it is so disturbing that several black people today actively choose to be ignorant.

Some people are truly happier without. Let them be. I've always hated the idea that it is a "waste of your rights" not to vote, when in reality some people don't vote because that falls under their right to their pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. They're happier tuning it all out and not participating, as is their right.
I ask you too; is being apolitical bad because everyone should be educated on politics and be able to form their own opinions to vote? Or is being apolitical bad because it's one less vote for your party? If you're an advocate for the first one, you're an advocate for not letting your right to a vote go to waste, in which case please reference my first paragraph. If you're an advocate for the latter, there's not even a guarantee that these people hold similar world views to you. By politicizing these people, you're not guaranteed to help your own cause, and you could in fact harm it.
There's a good way to advocate for political education and there's a bad way. Blanket-statement saying that being apolitical is a "bad thing" is not a good way.

This is one of the best videos in a while man. Although I'm not a big Kanye fan I do like this interview, and the real talk afterwards with Asmon was also of very high quality. Lot of good stuff.

Mostly because Republican ideas don't allow for that nonsense. And Republicans tend to be generally older or more mature people. Democrats tend to be younger and more sensitive with their ideals. Which leads to emotional arguments rather than rational debates.
The idea of respect, tradition, family values has been lost in the culture wars. You can look at that if you watch any old American movie from the 60's or earlier in black and white. Also this is because most, if not all, Democratic ideas aim to separate family. Abortion, anti religion, etc etc.
They want to be the ones to run your life and monitor what you do and determine the objective things whether they are right or wrong.
I've observed Democrats as a kid, manipulate through movies, media, etc over the years in very subtle ways without the public even noticing. That's just my opinion and from life experience so far.

That's interracial prejudice, discrimination, not racism. Like in Africa, they have tribalism, not racism. They weren't unjust because your friend was white, it was because they were Polish.
