Well sort of, if you read the Amazon review, it could bend due to how physical design of the bars are oriented, meaning, the these bars are first and foremost meant to resist and keep the bike from to tipping over well pass 90 degrees either from left or right.
With regard to the being a passenger foot pegs the force from the passenger putting pressure on a downward direction is the weakest link of this bar, especially if the passenger uses the bar to mount the bike...if this all makes sense...lol
