I remember joining this stream at 2 in the slo-mo countdown and had no idea what was going on. Doug was staring intently at the screen and the chat was filled with 1s. What a time to be alive.

When I first found DougDoug and heard that intro, I thought it was going to be an in-depth walkthrough, discussion, and interesting tutorial on how to solve a problem that no one had been able to before.
Then I watched the next 20 seconds of the video and realized my mistake. I'm still here 2 years later.

My mind is currently in a toss-up as to if DougDoug or the 8-bit drummer is funnier and more engaged, but creators like this honestly show that good things can come from the internet, because everybody's just having an awesome time.

Hold on. When he says “solve problems that no one has” does he mean that he is solving problems that no one has solved before, or is he solving problems that no one will ever have? I imagine the answer is simply “yes” but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

I asked this same question before, and I came to the conclusion that the answer is indeed “yes”
Correct me if I'm wrong, as English is not my native language, but I believe that from a purely grammatical standpoint there is no ambiguity. It would have to be "we *have solved* problems" for the "that no one has" to possibly refer to the solving of problems. Instead we have a simple present tense "we solve problems". Conversely with the present tense, you'd have to say "we solve problems that no one *did* (solve)" to refer to it. So the only possibility left is that "that no one has" refers strictly to problems.

So I just wanted to say to the people who don't manage to catch Doug on Twitch. I definitely recommend you follow him so you get notifications because the streams have a much different (and in my opinion better) energy than the videos uploaded on youtube. Just obviously the streams usually go for 5-8 hours instead of being less than 15 minutes.
