- The best crash & show in the 2022 edition of the best Hillclimb in Europe: Hillclimbing Andler-Schönberg.
Andler climbing has become an institution and has been voted the best climb in Europe several times by fans. Since 2007 no one has managed to reach the top, the riders end up beaten and the bikes destroyed.
The most daring riders will try to conquer the steep slope of the old Andler quarry on a motorcycle: the place where motorcycles go to die. Every year, several daredevils try to conquer the ascent of the Schönberg, which was believed impossible on their motorcycles. No one has beaten him since 2007, until Opglabbeek's Roel Geurts took charge of the scoop this weekend.

This looks like so much fun. As a guy who has ridden for 52 years hell yea. But as the guy who has wrecked bikes and Quads for as long I do cringe when the rider tumbles almost all the way down the hill or the bikes getting trashed tumbling down the hill.
The place where motorcycles go to die! 🙈 It hurts me too, it was my first time there and I ended up shocked. Most of the riders carry old motorbikes, but at the end it's a real graveyard!

Is there a shortage of ropes, poles, and hooks in this part of the world? Could prob save a bunch of bikes with some life guard hooks.
They actually save a lot of bikes, that crew of climbers are the real heros of the competition 💪🧑🚒
Those bikes must get hammered tumbling down hill.

Lol. I think the same, I have a 10 years old bike and take care about not hitting the ground when I crash 🙉🙉
Why dont those guys use a treble hook to catch bikes. They dont do any good.
The first is the rider's safe, they focus on save riders, then they could try to stop the bike if it's possible 🤷🏻♂️
