I don't see the conflict that you do, Amanda. Paul says in that same Word that he will talk about visions and revelations of the Lord. One might say that was just to write them in the Bible, but he didn't. He said they were unspeakable words they were so awesome. I see someone saying they have just the Word as a marvelously exciting, thrilling, dynamic, life changing, dancing in the street statement.

There is great encouragement to the Body of CHRIST when there is testimony time and a woman shares her faith. After following these TV preachers and being in the Word of Faith movement for over ten years, I can categorically say that the underlying messages from all these preachers is one of health, wealth, happiness, and spiritual experience. What results is fanaticism instead of a hunger for Truth. Sadly this message is at the expense of righteousness, abstinence, humility, and repentance. Thank you Justin Peters for turning the people back on the right path.

I did not know a NDE was a 'visit to heaven'. I died in 1984 after a horrific car crash. I had 6 weeks in a coma (some of the dreams / nightmares seemed so real, it took me years to separate reality from fantasy). On the 'day I died', I remember it like yesterday, I thought my time here was finally over and man, was I seek of this world. I sure looked forward to being 'out of here'. The place I remember was black, all around, it felt like 'limbo', ( a place of waiting, for what, I did not know then). At the point I would have completely surrendered to death, God appeared to me, we argued, I lost, He sent me back, here I am. I was a sinner who cared naught for God or anything to do with Him. 10 years passed and my hatred of God and everything consumed me, I just didn't care, period, God is a unique character, however you understand Him, He saved me, one on one, I had an amazing conversation that changed my life, I can not deny the One who spoke so clearly with me. I now have a relationship with my Creator, willing to 'do' whatever, whenever I am asked because I love Him. He gave me love, I never knew could be so wonderful. I am at total peace within as I know He loves me, and as He told me, "I love all my children with this LOVE. God, Our Father, simply desires for us to seek Him with ALL of our heart so that we all enter into this beautiful, loving, caring, joyous relationship, Father-son, Father-daughter. 2 Corinthians 2 v 18. Please do not be fooled by arguments and strange teachings, simply seek God for yourselves and He will give you the truth, then all the lies you ever believed will dissolve and the Truth will set you Free. God bless you all on your journey to eternity, Andy

I was an atheist. One day I told the Lord if He were real, I really did want to know Him - just don't send any of those fools to my door or do any miracles bc I'll think I had a dream etc etc. OK. A few days later I caught this guy on TV,... he was like talking to me but it was one of those Christian shows (hated them) he said if you can't believe - tell God. I did. Now say this prayer... didn't know what he was talking about but I said the prayer. When I said amen, I was on the floor and I knew without a doubt not only was there a god, but that Jesus was God!!! How merciful, how wonderful, to me who thought all Christians were just hypocrites. Totally changed my life, over 30 years ago.... Thank you Lord. IDK about K.Kerr or others but I do know Jesus is sovereign and if He wants to reach people through whatever its His church, not ours... God bless, may you come to know His love for you.

When you need someone to give you a break in that area, where will your faith be to receive it, if you weren't generous to God's people, to make them benefactors instead of only those who supply your physical needs? Taking time to spread His message takes so much out of folks, that is why God built a Sabbath into His rules. where did you find out about Jesus, to know what He said about Heaven and that you can trust Him. Who printed that $10 book you first read? It is filled with the experiences and testimonies of people who searched for their Creator and found Him...or have you not read yours yet? Without them Jesus could not have come here to tell us about the Home that is prepared for Humanity...which was in a terrible state after the fall...

Here is how I look at this issue: Christ is the same today, yesterday and forever. Heaven is the same today, yesterday and forever. The devil is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hell is the same today yesterday and forever. They don't shift like shadows and change. If all of these people are going there, they should have the same story. Christ should look the same to them all. Heaven should look the same to them all etc. Everyone should not be coming out with various stories and descriptions and that is what makes me not believe that every other person is having such experiences. Folks, people can tell you anything. Use common sense and ask questions and think. People hear stuff like this and fall for it and believe whatever people tell them. If you lined every person up that claims to have been to heaven and hell and hear their descriptions and stories, I promise you they will be all over the place. Paul and John visited heaven not for the reason of sensationalizing their experiences like these people who claim they have gone in recent years do. Paul couldn't even speak of what he saw!!!!! John was told to write SPECIFIC things! Not go around boasting and making money from their stories. Wake up folks. It sounds really nice but use some critical thinking here. Please.

If one ship landed in the desert, one in the middle of the ocean, one in the mountains, one in the jungle, etc...they all would have different stories to tell....VERY different. So, as one person's life is different than another, why COULDN'T they all have different experiences in the same heaven??? Heaven is not small, you know....just saying..

I think they would have something in common to tell. If you listen to all of these people's stories, they all differ drastically. God looks different, Christ looks different. God is not the author of confusion, and how confusing is it to have soooo many different stories? Why would the Lord change His appearance? It's just shady in MY opinion. At the end of the day, people can believe what they want.

    • @Mcoult45
      @Mcoult45 Před 8 lety +2

Even in the Word of God, the Father is "described" differently. Ex. He is a Spirit, He has hair white as wool with a face like the sun and eyes like flames of fire, Jesus is described as a Lamb as if it had been slain, but also as a Lion. Even while on earth, Jesus changed His appearance at times in order to escape those who were after Him when it wasn't the appointed time. God is so incomprehensible, He cannot "fit" in our logical ways of thinking. He can appear in whatever shape and form He wants to. He appeared in the form of an angel who wrestled with Jacob at one time, too. I'm not saying every NDE or resuscitation experience comes from absolute truth, but I sure wouldn't throw them into the same category.

I saw a heaven visit story of a catholic saying that he was condemned, but Mary came up and told Jesus to forgive him, and Jesus listened. it aggravates me when people want to make a buck from a heaven story, especially when they describe something that's not scriptural. my position is if you went into heaven, then cool, as long as you know how much trouble you would be in if you were lying.

    • @adamkakos2671
      @adamkakos2671 Před 10 lety +3

i'm aware there is more about Jesus than in the bible. but i'm also aware that personal experience isn't the 67th book either (are the previous 66 not enough?). its not about "sensing", its about faith in the blessed hope of Jesus, which is what you believe in without using your senses.
and fearing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). and many other places we are encouraged to fear the lord (matt 10:28 for example) this doesn't mean as a monster. but as a high form of respect AND love. as a child fears their parent's rebuke.
i don't need someone's heaven story to affirm my faith, nor a heaven visit of my own. all i need is God's Word, that its waiting for me.
i'm NOT calling you a liar, but i do urge you to exercise discernment. because not every beautiful warm fuzzy feeling is from God (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). but i leave that up to you.

    • @adamkakos2671
      @adamkakos2671 Před 10 lety +1

i have encountered the Spirit of God, that's why i am a Christian, but i've done wrong, and the true love of God was made manifest in Christ on the cross for my sin. that i man repent, to have everlasting life (john 3:16) but repentance is a lifestyle, not just an action.
you say the ways of this world are wrong, that would include your very own ways and ideas, your subject to your own error. the only way we can find true righteousness is though an inspired, infallible, inerrant truth. and the Bible fits that criteria.
the ultimate truth of the word is not subjective, because it has 1 meaning whether we exist to interpret it or not.
the Bible was written by God worked through holy men moved by the holy spirit (2 peter 1-21). so it's without error
2 timothy 3-16 says that ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, and correction, for instruction in righteousness.
if you encountered a spirit that denied the authority of God's word. you have in fact not encountered God. not every spirit that looks beautiful and feels warm is of God, do not be deceived, test them (1 john 4:4) because the Word is how God truly speaks to us.
there is truth in what you say about the pharisees. but they were a legalistic religion. we are told not to speak perversely for example, but not what words to use. they would have judged you for not living perfectly. that's not what the Bible commands us to live.
we all have sin, and Christ died for our sin, and no other being or spirit went to that cross, so only through him is there atoning for our sin. and because we are free from sin, we can live a life of repentance, and in service to God who loves us.
you're definitely my elder. and i give you respect for your many years. but with all due respect, you're in error about the authority of Gods word. i can give a pile of scripture to vindicate how reliable the Bible claims to be. and if you believe God interacts with us. then you cant deny the Word is truth.

    • @adamkakos2671
      @adamkakos2671 Před 10 lety +1

I respect you for your service, and i'm grieved that you went through what you did, and cant imagine what it was truly like. and i agree with you on what you say about politicians and corruption and wars to make the rich richer, i hear you on that. but you're pointing out people who you believe are worse than you are, it's easy to do this. the politicians can just as easily look at other people and say "i'm glad in not like those criminals, they are really bad". and thus label themselves "good people", so that is inconclusive, because we all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23).
i understand why you hate the world, which is why God will judge this world. but that includes all who have sinned against him, not just the worst people. God is not a partial judge we are ALL children of wrath (Ephesians 2:3). we can't give him a resume on that day because we said we are good people. the only way to truly be with God is by his grace by having his imputed "perfect" righteousness(Matt 19: 26). that's why Jesus came to fulfill the law. every time you stole, he didn't, every time you lied, he didn't, every time you looked at a woman with lust, he didn't etc. then he went and took God's wrath on the cross when he didn't deserve it. so his perfect righteousness could be accredited to your account, but ONLY if you believe in the saving power of his blood, and God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). and see him for who he truly is. only then will you have a relationship. not by your good works (being a good person) but by grace through faith alone.
      Matt 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful WORKS?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
this is your life, but it was given to you, and if you don't give it to God, whom gave it to you. you will surely lose it. (Matt 16: 25).
you say you have felt God's love, but you don't want him to have your life in full, and take full control.
"It's my life, and I'll live my life as I choose".
if this is your position, can God really say that he feels your love in return?
you wanna know real divine love? Jesus on the cross was God's divine love. and if you don't even believe in his word you cant believe in Jesus. John 1 says that the Word became flesh. and that is Christ. to disbelieve his word, you might as well disbelieve in Christ.
i'm not trying to push my personal beliefs on you. i'm telling you how to save your soul, and were God's true love is (it's in Christ, not personal experiences). if this was JUST a "belief" then why do i even care to tell you? atheism is JUST a belief. and if they were right, then who cares? if i am right, then we know we have a God who can judge his people, and we better find out who he is and what he wants.
      God bless.

andrea The Bible declares that by nature, none of us have any desire to seek God. We do not understand His righteousness, nor do we care to. No one will ever "want to" hear Him through their own strength. Rather, it takes a miracle, God creating a new "Want To" in us, to get us to listen and be converted.
God has been gracious to call me out of death to walk in new life. I, who formerly walked according to the ways of darkness and loved the darkness, have been converted because of the Lord, not because of an all of a sudden ability on my part to no longer love the darkness.
The LORD really is the Lord. He is the ruler of all things. He NEVER asks permission from His creation to do anything He has sovereignly decreed to be. Rulers do not ask their subjects for permission to be their ruler. He either IS the King, or He is not.

GOD is perfect. Christ is perfect, because of my own human traits I feel all of these things..... I know that if we accept Christ and ask him to forgive us for our sins he will be faithful to forgive us.......it is easy to get caught up in these worldly thoughts but the truth is that we must hold on to Christ, never give up, always know that Christ sees our sorrow and pain.......Even though we have Christ we must always hold on to our faith, trust that one day this world of pain, all death , soo sorrow will fade away when we see our savior, NEVER GIVE UP.

I was in ecstacy and the love of God surrounded me with so much power and glory. That's a hint of my dream anyway. There is more, like being overcome with so much LOVE I could hardly stand, and I knew my time with this glorious light would be limited to seconds, but I did not want to leave there! I wanted to remain there forever. It's impossible to explain in worldly terms now. The two guys in this video are being way too intellectual. So the claim here is that Jesse fraudulantly planted this story for notoriety and fame. This claim is on what basis? Apparently the basis for this is that there is no way something like this could happen, even though the Scripture is very clear that Paul was "caught up" in the third heaven. These men just need to SHUT UP about things of which they have no clue and leave this to God. If they are wrong, they are slanderers, and no slanderer will inherit the Kingdom of heaven. If this is a risk they think they need to take, God help them. The problem with a hardened bias against supernatural events is, it naturally draws a person to the very dangerous position of blasphemy and slander. People need to ask themselves if God Himself may be increasing the level of supernatural experiences in this day as the end draws near. People need to ask themselves why they are more prone to interpret any supernatural occurrence to Satan rather than God. CESSATIONISM, pure and simple, has crippled the church and has curtailed faith for not only the gifts, but ANY activity of the Holy Spirit beyond the fruit associated with character. And on that note, there is no fruit of self control in the judgments these men run away with based on nothing but their own opinions and emotions.

I take Paul's statement (it is not permissible for me to even speak of what I saw) as being true for himself but not every person. Obviously, it must not have been "unlawful" for everyone or else John couldn't have told us about his visit to heaven and even very detailed imagery of the New Jerusalem.

God showing John a vision and telling him to write down to be incorporated into the Bible is a lot different than near death experiences. The writing of Revelation is a one time deal. Saying that John could speak of what he saw has no correlation with current claims of trips to heaven. Steven saw a glimpse of heaven the second before he became the first martyr for his faith, which is also a one time deal. That means the only other heaven experience is Paul, and he does not think of it as noteworthy. He won't even say it's him who saw heaven. He humbled himself after seeing it, and even then he received a thorn of the flesh. He couldn't understand what he saw and wasn't allowed to talk of what he saw. All trips to heaven are contradictory to Paul's circumstances. If Paul, the greatest theologian and writer of a third of the New Testament, wasn't allowed to talk about what he saw, why do these so-called pastors spew every last detail? It's cuz they didn't really see heaven. They had a fake experience that they've bought into for whatever reason, whether it be for exploitation, recognition, or are just being deceived.

His name is Lonnie Honeycutt. Now I will say this, when I was backslidden, I was listening to Jesse Duplantis' message and the Holy Spirit had broken me down unto repentance and I turned my life back over to God. So whether he went or not, to me it doesn't matter, but now my relationship with God has been growing strong since

Its funny when people have not experienced the supernatural they think anyone who says they have must be either lying or not scriptural. it's really funny and childish these two men here. they are afraid of God speaking to anyone as if God stop speaking after the bible was written. where i tuned out was where the interviewed person was saying that Jehovah is not the name of God and said God's name is Yahweh. both Jehovah and Yah or Yahweh are derivatives from the tetragrammaton YHVH the confusion where fixing in vowels between Y/J H V/W H and so JeHoVaH or YaHVeH or YaHWeH and YaHuaH and so many other twist from this tetragrammaton YHVH which satan created have been derived.
to cause confusion about the name of God. Do these men even know anything about the background or understand where this YHVH is coming from?.
Of course this has brought confusion where people have different or differs standings and so its confusion.
But God is not the author of CONFUSION.?
I will not tell you God's name here it's not even easy typing in this little you tube comment section.
This YHVH is what the jews (humans) no so long ago on their own- themselves- said that God's name is too holy and they want to protect it from being taken in vain and so they removed the vowels and left only the consonants. This is the story behind this teaching four letter words hence tetragrammaton.
Where did God ever say don't mention my name because it's too holy. Yes Thou shall not use the name of God in vain. okay. God never said anywhere people should not call or mention his name.
Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls....
GOD says all over the bible through all times,
Call upon me (name) and I will answer you and show show great and mighty things which thou knowest not.....
and many many verses. These YHVH and all it's twist that so many people latter came up and said they knew the in between vowels were deceived are those guys in who wear black and white with beards of judaism who do not even believe in Jesus as the savior not different from muslim tell the world lies from their synagogue of satan and so many without studying take in their poison......Shame shame people are so easy to decieve as long as they hear something from everyone using or saying something they just take it as true. Oh LORD !!!
MAY JESUS CHRIST- IEOSUS CHRISTOS-YESHUA HAMASCHIAK- HAVE MERCY ON MANKIND. Satan has done too much havoc. LORD JESUS COME TAKE OVER AND LET SATAN AND ALL HIE LIES BE DONE AWAY WITH FROM US FOREVER. AMEN.

God did stop talking to us after the Bible's completion. He makes that abundantly clear in Revelation 22:18-19 where it says that no one is to add or take away from Scripture. God speaking to or revealing heaven to is definitely on par with Scripture. If you hear from God or see His domain, it should be added to Scripture since it holds the exact same authority as a direct revelation from God, which belongs in Scripture. Therefore, to say that you see God's domain or hear from Him, you are in essence calling Him a liar in Revelation 22:18-19. Furthermore, in Hebrew, they don't have vowels. I AM in Hebrew is spelt, translated into English, YHWH. They still pronounce it Yahweh, but they don't have vowels. We uncapitalized it and added vowels since, in English, only the first letter can be capitalized, and every word needs at least one vowel. The pronunciation of the name never changed, and God's proper name has been and always will be Yahweh. Like Justin said, Jehovah came from combining the vowels from Adonai into YHWV, creating YaHoWaH, which became, in English, Jehovah. You can look up the history of the name Jehovah in many places. All of them will tell you that it started around the middle ages (1500-1600s). Angels would never call God a made up and manmade name. They would call Him as He is: Yahweh, I AM. It'd be like an angel referring to Yeshua as Jesus. Jesus isn't His real name. His real name is Yeshua. Jesus is merely an English translation. Joshua and Jesus actually come from the same name: Yeshua. Angels wouldn't refer to God and Jesus as Jehovah or Jesus, but Yahweh and Yeshua, debunking Jesse Duplantis and his made up story.

Josh Peterson suggest you read how the scriptures were canonized. The Book of Revelations is a book. The bible is a compilation of books. Yes, be wary of strange happenings but Revelations is only the last book bc men put them in that order....

    • @joshpeterson2451
      @joshpeterson2451 Před 10 lety

andrea You are using the fallacious argument that books weren't considered canon until the council of Nicea. The Bible debunked that argument before it was even made. 2 Peter 3:16 says, "as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction." This shows that Paul's letters were considered Scripture hundreds of years before the council. This shows that the early church knew what was inspired. This is validated by the fact that you can reconstruct the 27 books of the New Testament from the writings of the earliest church fathers that lived after the apostles. They referenced those 27 books more than anything else. This proves that they knew those 27 books were Scripture. The book of Revelation is a book written by God through John, and it just so happens to be the last chronologically written book of Scripture in 96 A.D. Hence, when it says that it is the closure of God's words, it is the closure of God's words.

Robert Bogle Who is Justin Peters? Ever talk to him prayed with him? He is right why? You/We best follow Yeshua (Jesus) the word not man. You and Mr Peters here and all of us have from God on what we believe. Know I why Mr Peters believes what he does yet he is wrong on some things. Yet he is my brother is saved. Yet does not in any way make him or give him the right to tell others what the word of God really means. This is not written.
If a whole town could not receive any might work from? GOD because of unbelief only some laying on of hands you think GOD has some how or His word has changed? I can sit here and posts words from GOD and yet most will tell you they do not believe what GOD said. Strange how John 3:16, Rom 10:9-10 are real yet other words are.. "well Jesus really meant , who Jesus was really talking to, oh those gifts died with"
You think GOD is going to do something for you against your will? He cant. Now come to Him as a child.. take HIM at His word not what some man tells you. Have FAITH that if HE can do JOHN 3:16 then He can do all the rest. I know I know.. look at so and so look at this or that. Or in Jesus day.. ooh look at those towns that ALL that came to Jesus were touched and healed. Oh yet look at that one that did not believe. GO FOR IT.. keep telling GOD what HE cant do and thats just what you get. He will give you what you ask for. Never written only good. Says what so ever you desire. Who so ever.. it rains on the just and unjust. Granted it means more then what I just said.
Lol do you know how hard it is to tell people to BELIEVE your Father can do ANYTHING. No they look at some person as in Justin and take that what they SEE and HEAR and FEEL over the word. Show me blind I will show you someone heal seeing. Show me deaf I will show you healed and hearing. HE DOES NOT play games and HE has not changed. If He healed all then .. it is still the same today.Yet its GREATER For now we have the holy spirit in us. We have been given more power then ALL demons..over ALL the power of the enemy. The sad thing is so many think and know its GOD that can do evil.
The Father His son Yeshua and the sweet sweet Holy Spirit are real. Now you can pray and talk to them and thats the price. Its not easy. You have to mean it.. you have to do it with your whole heart and be a child that believe anything. Tell a child GOD can do anything you ask.. not tell YOU the same things and watch. Your Father is GOD.. so if HIS words abide in YOU.. if you ask the Father anything.. if you know HE hears you you? The key is.. you ask for other..its always for HIS glory. You should know no sickness evil bad are never from Him. Some have made sickness as good. Yet its written ALL good things come from the Father. ALL not some.
Point in all this is not healing not gifts.. its KNOWING HE IS REAL! If your wife your babies you best friend are more realk in the Father and Jesus and the Holy Spirit then you dont know like you should. No HE IS REAL! The Holy spirit alone is in you.. and the word calls it HE! HE thats what? Yeah do you EVER talk to Him? What is it the HOLY SPIRIT is going to show you? You think it was only the 12? You think Jesus told only the 12 I have to go but if I go I will come get you so where I am you will be? So on so on. Take GOD at HIS WORD! Seek HIM with your heart. If you seek you find if you knock it opens if you ask it gets answered. I dont have to wonder or guess why? GOD SAID IT! MAN tells you no sometimes God.. that is not written! Again why ask or believe some man for all you see is what they see and believe. I follow Christ! HE leads me HE shows me.. you get what ever you believe.. ASK HIM..
Ask HIM what IF I just believe what you say .. what happens? Or live with the things this life has to offer. I am not from here this is not my home. I live as it is in my Fathers house. As it is there it will be where I am.

Matters not what the other believes for Jesus even said.. if you dont believe/obey I will not judge you or condemn you I came to save you. Its written Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Though I disagree on somethings Justin says .. and I can also listen to Word of Faith and Baptist and get blessed though I dont agree on all they preach.
We need to remember there are HIS children not ours. Just because we know Christ does not give us a right to say anything we want about them. Its not what ANY preacher preaches its do you know Yeshua (Jesus). To you KNOW Him.. want to be like Him.. talk like Him act like Him see what He sees. Do you care for the lost meaning anyone..does it tear your heart to know just ONE that knows Him not .. So ask Jesus about what you read. He is REAL! Does He still heal today can you talk in tongues what about faith.. why do you go to a man to get what he sees what he believes. Granted there is wisdom in asking others yet you HAVE to search and pray and seek Jesus on your own. To him that seeks he finds.. to him that knocks its open to him that ask its answered.. I didnt say that.. what ever you ask the Father in my name.... do I have to go on? The sweet sweet holy Spirit well does lead you in to all truth.. ASK!
As long as Justin know Jesus as lord he is family.. I just dont agree on some things he teaches or the way he gets stuck on one group. If you dont agree with me PRAISE GOD! Love you.. I do.. try going to Jesus.. try asking your Father.. if you KNOW He hears you

We also know that God has shown his anger from heaven against all sinful evil men who push away the truth about him. For the truth about God is known to them instinctively because God has put this knowledge in their hearts. For since earliest times men have seen the earth and the sky and all that God made and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they ( including you) we'll have no excuse when they stand before God at judgment day. That's a quote from chapter one of Romans which you really ought to read. One time at 9pm on a Saturday night I was pumping gas into my car at a gas station. A Porsche pulled up as I was doing that and stopped about 30 feet in front of my car. Suddenly......
WHOOOOOSH!!!!! The whole car suddenly exploded into flames! It was instantly a big fireball! Shocking! Especially being at a gas station. The flames seemed to be 10 feet high and it seemed like the whole car was on fire. And the guy in the Porsche wasn't immediately flying out of the car like he should have been. After I realized he wasn't getting out of his car I started running towards the car thinking "Dear God please no. Please don't tell me that I am going to have to try to get the guy out of that burning mess." Just when I got to a few feet of the car door he popped the door open and shot out of there like a cannon. Whew! I was sure glad to see that. I think he was just so stunned by what happened that he couldn't process it and it took him a bit to figure out where the door handle was to get himself out of there. As we were standing there watching his car burn he was lamenting all the money he had recently spent on it.
He was saying things like "I just had the seats reupholstered and it cost me $1000! Oh man, I spent $600 on new tires! Oh man, $300 for the new stereo..." And I was saying to him "Man, you are just lucky to be alive. Forget all that stuff." And while the car was burning like that AT A GAS STATION (not far from the pumps) the attendant ran over to me all in a worried frenzy and said to me "What should I do??? Should I shut off the main emergency switch to all the pumps?" And I said "What are you asking me for? I don't work here!"
What did I just do there in saying all of that? Did I fabricate a story? No, God knows it's all TRUE. I just told of an actual experience that I experienced. It seems to me that people who have near death experience stories just do the same thing. They tell stories of experiences that they experienced. Do I generally view people who tell these stories to be LIARS? No I don't. I have no problem listening to their stories and LEARNING from their stories. I would recommend everyone do that. There is A LOT to be learned from them if you make a big enough study of them. Just rely on Jesus Christ as the Highest authority (by far) and if someone says something that is contrary to His teaching then don't rely on it as if it is a guaranteed truth.
"All the people were trying to touch Him, because *power was coming from Him* _and_ *Healing them all.* "
    (Luke 6:19)
*Love* God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after Righteousness.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus...
LOVE covers a multitude of sins.
    We are saved by GRACE.

I have been of the Pentecostal Faith my entire life and I've never seen the religious world in this state. Let me say with a sound mind and dedicated spirit to God, there is a middle-of-the-road answer to all the arguments. God can not be put in a box and told what He can and cannot do if he so chooses like the Baptist teach. If He chooses to take people to visit Heaven, well maybe He's trying to get our attention. However, I also don't believe the extreme stuff that's going on either. I do not believe that He is part of the 'extreme' worship shown on some videos. But I will tell you, I have felt His presence so strong that there is a physical need to cry, shout and praise Him and have done so many times.

All i can say is, i was in worship to the Lord standing up, and was taken to the throne room of God!
It happened while i was in Church, i felt the strong presence of God, so i embraced the Lord, closed my eyes to focus on his presence, as i closed my eyes, i was immediately in the sky going up through the clouds, there were also people in front of me and behind me! While i was in the sky i thought to myself, "where am i, what's going on" I turned around and noticed a very tall black man, he looked down at me and smiled, the next thing was we were all at the throne room of heaven, i saw God on his throne, he had leather like sandals on his feet, he wore a white garment, i tried to look up to see the Lord's face but all i could see was up to his knees on his throne, Jesus was very very big!
His throne was simple and white, i turned around and everyone was bowing down worshipping God, i was on the left side with three other people, then i heard the Lord laugh and he said to me, "So you want to hear a word from me" then the lord told me what he wanted to say!
I opened up my eyes and i was back in Church still standing!

Can you verify this in any way?

MicroFrog When and if the Lord takes you in the Spirit, tell me how you can confirm that??
You can't, just as i can't, but i don't need to verify anything to anyone, the Lord took me in the Spirit, as he takes other people to Heaven etc..
      God bless you :)

I'm sorry. The only concrete accounts of visitations to Heaven were Isaiah, Paul, and John, and that's because those were genuine revelations and not hearsay.

I went cuckoo for a little while on TBN's teachings, out of desperation. But then I grew a larger brain.

This video is 10 years old! I can't believe Justin Peters has already been attacking The Body of Christ for more than 10 years!
