I demoed a pair of Gel Kayano 30’s on a Kofuzi shakeout run with Asics at the 2023 Cherry Blossom Weekend & switched to Asics a month later. I went with the neutral Gel-Nimbus 25’s. Currently have two pairs of 25’s & 1 pair of 26’s in rotation, as well as the NovaBlast 4 ❤ I’m really loving my Saucony Endorphin Pro 4 for races & Brooks Hyperion Max for training runs.

Nice! I’ve been an ASICS fan for almost as long as I’ve been running. I’ve found that for the most part, if you like ASICS, you’ll do well with Brooks in the rotation. 🤓

Haha I have been running in Brooks Ghost Max and Glycerin 20 as well. Need to mail out my old ones that have lots of miles on them and get another pair before marathon training starts

My Nimbus rotation before these has 650 and 900 miles on them, so it was definitely time for an upgrade! 🤣

Wishing you many happy miles in them, RGG. They look fantastic! There are a couple of pairs from ASICS in my huge pool of running shoes and I've noticed the positive reviews that other models of theirs are getting. They seem to have a very strong lineup right now. My most worn running shoes of late have been older Saucony models that I got in the supply chain clearance frenzy last year, the Kinvara 13, Ride 15, Endorphin Speed 2, and Endorphin Shift 2. I have a hard time resisting a sale.😃With lots of shoes in the mix, a given pair can hang on for a long time, but I will wear them until they're worn out.

They’ve definitely been listening to feedback on their earlier models, because they’re much better this year. Buying older models are definitely the way to go though- great way to save money! 🤓

@@RunningGeekGirl For sure, every new version of a shoe is supposed to transform running from unbearable drudgery to pure euphoria. They said the same thing about the last version and they'll say it again about the next one, but people actually ran pretty well back in 2021 and 2022.😆I like being able to go back and see reviews from all through a shoe's life cycle, and sometimes in the review of a newer model you find out what they really thought about the one that it replaced.

I had to stop running for a while as a pair of Asics Kayano 29’s were faulty and caused a foot injury. I have been wearing the ASIC kayano 30’s for a couple of months, and I do love them, but they feel a bit ‘chunky’

They’re definitely chunky, so it’s hard to build up speed in them, but they’re helping a lot with my pronation! 🤓
