The battle wouldn't have actually happened at all without Fireheart. If Bluestar would have sent cats to find WindClan, then those cats would probably haven't come to the idea to pass through RiverClan territory and thus the battle at the gorge doesn't take place.

There's also Harper Collins, AND all the editors. That's about 20 people controlling a series. Kate Cary said they couldn't even name a kit without the editors changing it. Even if all 20 of them agree on something, it always seems to be contradicted later. The word of one author is untrustworthy.

I agree, but I have to say once he became deputy, he kind of fell into the trap of becoming a predictable leader/deputy. I understand he did have to become deputy for all the great things and all to happen to Thunderclan, but he became quite boring as a character to read about when he was leader.

If Firestar hadn't come to the forest, Squirrelflight wouldn't have been born, she wouldn't have had her relationships with Ashfur and Bramblestar, and we wouldn't have the broken code. On the other hand, if Firestar hadn't come, Ravenpaw would most likely be dead, and if the battle with BloodClan still happened, Scourge would have taken over the forest, most likely. I honestly don't see why BloodClan wouldn't have come to the forest. What I envision happening is Tigerstar would still have gotten BloodClan for backup, Tigerstar would have died, and BloodClan would rule. Pretty much all the books happen because Firestar came to the forest.

I did some digging, dustpelt and sandstorm are more cousins who acted like siblings, though dustpelt is legitimately Fernclouds uncle, and ashfur is still semi related to squirrelflight. The thunderclan family tree has many interwoven branches

I think RiverClan and ShadowClan mightâve still had a chance, since WindClan wouldnât have returned and they could keep hunting on their territory. Though with Tigerstar around, they still couldâve fallen from being forced to join âTigerClanâ, as even if they survived all that, theyâd still be severely weakened. Also, itâd make a cool fanfiction idea if WindClan didnât return to the forest, but they survived and instead found the lake territories
Extra you forgot: Yellowfang might have been killed, or joined the rouges. Brokenstar wouldn't have been driven out. Windclan may have never been brought back. If the RC battle happened if Windclan was brought back, Sandstorm/paw could've tumbled into the gorge too. Lionclan couldn't be formed. The dogs would never be brought in, so Brightheart and Swiftpaw cant be hurt/killed. Bloodclan would never see the forest. Graystripe would stay in Thunderclan, as he may not have met Silverstream. Cinderpelt would be a warrior. When the fire came, noone would wake up and Thunderclan would've died. Last one: *WARRIORS WOULD BE TERRIBLE* Edit: Skyclan wouldn't come back either.
A few other things: Windclan would still be living in the sewers/tunnels under the roads, and Shadowclan would have taken their land. Shadowclan would still be ruled by Broken'Star. Yellowfang would most likely have been killed or chased out by a Thunderclan patrol. Brightheart would have no injuries, and Swiftpaw would still be alive. (I don't remeber who Tigerclaw killed to lure the dogs, was it Goldenflower? Whoever it was would still be alive) Skyclan wouldn't be found. The clans would probably all scatter and fall apart due to the two legs taking their land, as well as Graystripe most likely being trapped and kept as a kittypet.
This is a good AU. Fire star is kinda a Mary Sue, and I was annoyed that every book in the the first arch was from ONLY his point of view, it really made the first ach bland. It would be cool, to see a new set a. characters. Like imagine the property was a thing, and our new protagonists see rusty walking out on the sidewalk in kitty pet territory, and they tell him he will save the clans but he has no interest in any of it, and attacks them. Like they would have save thunderclan rusty or no rusty. It would be a really cool plot point
Erin Hunter stated that if Rusty/Firestar didn't join Thunderclan. He would have joined a other clan. Since Shadowclan was so dangerous during that time. And windclan wasn't there. Rusty would have probably joined Riverclan. Crookedstar was a good cat and leader. He just stayed out of trouble.
Well to be honest Graystripe probably still would have met Silverstream because it was his own stupidity to go hunt for the vole. And I donât think anyone would have been able to stop cinderpaw from being so hyper, so she would have ended up by the vole anyway. But I agree with everything else. Brightheart would maybe live a normal life with no scars and Swiftpaw would survive, because Tigerclaw would become the leader and he will have no reason to take the dog pack to the forest, so Swiftpaw and Brightpaw would be okay. Also, I believe Cloudtail would run to the forest by himself lol
When Spottedlesf died, Yellowfang wouldn't have been accepted. If Cinderpaw was never harmed on the Thunderpath, there would've been no new medicine cat apprentice. Leafpool never would've been born which means thunder clan has lost two more medicine cats, Leafpool and Jayfeather, and since Squirrelflight was never born, Alderheart would never be a medicine cat. They, in total, have lost five medicine cats, so the clan is doomed.
This is basically saying respect these books, fire star may have been a kitty pet but love kits and non-loneliness needed his help, and so did non-deaths

Sandstorm would've died, even if Firestar wasn't chosen on the WindClan quest. Theres Graystripe, and Firestar could be replaced by another cat or Graystripe could go alone. Sandstorm and the patrol would've still seen and participated in the border fight, and Sandstorm would've died.
If Firestar didn't come to the forest there would only be Riverclan. Windclan would have starved, Thunderclan would have fallen, Shadowclan would either have scattered into rogues by Sol's doing, and Skyclan would have never been built. Leaving Riverclan to be the only clan, which is if they even survived. Actually, Riverclan would have fallen because who would have persuaded Leopardstar to join Lionclan? Fire didn't just save Thunderclan it saved the clans. The tribe would have been doomed because Silverstream didn't save them. Therefore being no clans or the tribe.

Basically this is what wouldve happened
Thunderclan wouldve fallen since Yellowfang most likely wouldn't have become a medicine cat, and being under Tigerstar's rule wouldve been detrimental to the clan all together, and eventually he would drive Thunderclan to collapsing
Skyclan wouldve never been rebuilt, and all cats wouldve stayed kittypets loners and rogues
Shadowclan wouldve either starved or been killed off one by one by the Carrionplace sickness since Cinderpelt was the cat who made the cure, and she wouldn't have been a medicine cat
Riverclab wouldve starved to death, or because Tigerstar would be leading thunderclan been wiped out fighting a war
Windclan wouldve never been found and slowly starved in the sewers beneath the thunderpath
Firestar is literally the reason the clans even exist at all today
I think RiverClan and ShadowClan mightâve still had a chance, since WindClan wouldnât have returned and they could keep hunting on their territory. Though with Tigerstar around, they still couldâve fallen from being forced to join âTigerClanâ, as even if they survived all that, theyâd still be severely weakened.
Also, itâd make a cool fanfiction idea if WindClan didnât return to the forest, but they survived and instead found the lake territories

Extra you forgot:
Yellowfang might have been killed, or joined the rouges.
Brokenstar wouldn't have been driven out.
Windclan may have never been brought back.
If the RC battle happened if Windclan was brought back, Sandstorm/paw could've tumbled into the gorge too.
Lionclan couldn't be formed.
The dogs would never be brought in, so Brightheart and Swiftpaw cant be hurt/killed.
Bloodclan would never see the forest.
Graystripe would stay in Thunderclan, as he may not have met Silverstream.
Cinderpelt would be a warrior.
When the fire came, noone would wake up and Thunderclan would've died.

I personally think tigerstar would have still died, because he attacked scourge when they we're younger and scourge still wanted revenge

A few other things:
Windclan would still be living in the sewers/tunnels under the roads, and Shadowclan would have taken their land.
Shadowclan would still be ruled by Broken'Star.
Yellowfang would most likely have been killed or chased out by a Thunderclan patrol.
Brightheart would have no injuries, and Swiftpaw would still be alive. (I don't remeber who Tigerclaw killed to lure the dogs, was it Goldenflower? Whoever it was would still be alive)
Skyclan wouldn't be found.
The clans would probably all scatter and fall apart due to the two legs taking their land, as well as Graystripe most likely being trapped and kept as a kittypet.

This is a good AU. Fire star is kinda a Mary Sue, and I was annoyed that every book in the the first arch was from ONLY his point of view, it really made the first ach bland. It would be cool, to see a new set a. characters. Like imagine the property was a thing, and our new protagonists see rusty walking out on the sidewalk in kitty pet territory, and they tell him he will save the clans but he has no interest in any of it, and attacks them. Like they would have save thunderclan rusty or no rusty. It would be a really cool plot point

Erin Hunter stated that if Rusty/Firestar didn't join Thunderclan. He would have joined a other clan. Since Shadowclan was so dangerous during that time. And windclan wasn't there. Rusty would have probably joined Riverclan. Crookedstar was a good cat and leader. He just stayed out of trouble.
Well to be honest Graystripe probably still would have met Silverstream because it was his own stupidity to go hunt for the vole. And I donât think anyone would have been able to stop cinderpaw from being so hyper, so she would have ended up by the vole anyway.

Swiftpaw and Brightheart would probably have been mates. Tigerclaw would have had no need to use the dogs if he already ruled Thunderclan. Also Windclan would have never come back.

Brightheart would maybe live a normal life with no scars and Swiftpaw would survive, because Tigerclaw would become the leader and he will have no reason to take the dog pack to the forest, so Swiftpaw and Brightpaw would be okay. Also, I believe Cloudtail would run to the forest by himself lol

When Spottedlesf died, Yellowfang wouldn't have been accepted. If Cinderpaw was never harmed on the Thunderpath, there would've been no new medicine cat apprentice. Leafpool never would've been born which means thunder clan has lost two more medicine cats, Leafpool and Jayfeather, and since Squirrelflight was never born, Alderheart would never be a medicine cat. They, in total, have lost five medicine cats, so the clan is doomed.

Brightheart wouldnât even have her face chewed off by dogs and Swiftpaw would be alive. Because the reason they tried to show that they were worthy of being warriors too, was because they were jealous of Cloudpaw.

So, basically none of the things would have happened.
Sandstorm would've died, even if Firestar wasn't chosen on the WindClan quest. Theres Graystripe, and Firestar could be replaced by another cat or Graystripe could go alone. Sandstorm and the patrol would've still seen and participated in the border fight, and Sandstorm would've died.

If Firestar didn't come to the forest there would only be Riverclan. Windclan would have starved, Thunderclan would have fallen, Shadowclan would either have scattered into rogues by Sol's doing, and Skyclan would have never been built. Leaving Riverclan to be the only clan, which is if they even survived. Actually, Riverclan would have fallen because who would have persuaded Leopardstar to join Lionclan? Fire didn't just save Thunderclan it saved the clans. The tribe would have been doomed because Silverstream didn't save them. Therefore being no clans or the tribe.
