- Day four on The Gibb and we are waking up at Manning Gorge Campground, we dedicate the day to exploring Manning Gorge, which was unreal! The walk was pretty gnarly in our books but doable!

My father and i used to live in manning George back in 1996 for close to a year i was only 14 with cerebral palsy 😂😂
Manning George made me tough
mainly caught what I needed to eat and bought the rest at the road house
Camping was only $2.50 a night under 14 free only had a pit toilet
Walked for days and hundreds of kilometres from the start all the way to end of manning creek
It was different back then I only seen a few people in the whole nine months
I can believe how popular it is and it is good to see people still enjoying themselves and I hope it brings you a lifetime of happy memories ❤

As you will find out Go Queenslander. We flogged them. Really enjoying your journey. We have done the Gibb twice, once from each way in 2014 and last year. Keep up the great work and yes the next section to Elenbrae is crap road. Travel safe.

Using your vids to convince mrs our on road van can do sensible gravel 😊
Haha love your work! It's all about the tyres and driving to the conditions in our opinion 😄 our van is semi-off road, nor do we have the suspension 😄 There's too many beautiful places in Australia that are on rougher roads that we don't want to miss out on 😍😍

You were talking about the fish and I wondered whether the water is fresh or salty. Because on yesterday's video I think it was, you also talked about the crocs so I assumed that water was salty. But looks amazing country and even if nothing else it is a fine place to swim and shake off the dirt road.
All this is fresh water, there are fresh water crocs in nearly every spot we have been to 😄 (luckily have only seen one)
