To be honest, I actually like the Sonic '06's Sonic personality, but I also like the "don't give a damn" cocky attitude from the good ol' days. He was probably best portrayed in the Sonic Adventure games and in Sonic X. At least in my opinion, that was the best personality for Sonic. Anyway, this video was my favorite of yours and made me laugh almost the entire time. I really liked the whole fast-talking thing. Also, BEST. LINE EVER: "Darn you Z-axis, you ruin everything!!!"

Yup. Early 2000s Sonic was when SEGA remembered who Sonic was supposed to be. Not anymore though.
@@littenfire3563 Yuji Naka left Sega that probably why. To make matters worse even the director of Sonic Unleashed left Sega, that's not a good sign.
In my opinion, Brawl’s Sonic is MUCH more stylish and well animated. All smash 4 did was take away that style, leaving his body and facial animations stuff and awkward. I guess it’s more in line with the bland visual styles sonic has in recent games, but the 2000’s era blows it out of the water.

OMG. I swear, this was the funniest Know Your Moves video thus far. It reminds me of a footofaferret video with the speed, but it was still hilarious as shit. The section of the video between 4:32 and 4:37 was the best way to describle his new 3D model in Smash 4. I almost died. Great video Alax.

Dark Pit Idk maybe because he was my main in Melee, he is my all time favorite fictional character, my favorite pokemon because of Mewtwo strikes back and Mewtwo returns, I still use him often in smash 4 but not as much as in Melee

Yes, a few games before were good. I love Generations to death and I love Brawl. Lost world was decent. It has some stuff that, if refined, could make for an amazing sonic game. Instead they through that out for sonic boom. Showing how stupid they are on making games now-a-days. Let nintendo buy you, Sega... Please....

To act like that they make nothing but bad games and decisions is ridiculous when you look at the wider picture. They've got Ryu no Gotoku, the Hatsune Miku games, Aliens & Company of Heroes going on as well. If you look at it from that perspective you will see it up there just a decent company who kinda gets what people and adapts to that like but wants to experiment a little.

For the record Alex. Sonic's side-b spindash is a single hit attack with more launch power, where you have to make multiple "passes" to hit your opponent more than once, where as the spin-charge (the down-b) is a natural multi-hit attack, allowing you to get at least 2-3 hits in per "pass", but there's not a lot of knockback, and you can't jump out of it

Classic Sonic moveset:
Neutral B: Homing attack (Sonic 3D Blast, unchanged from Sonic)
Side-B and Down-B: Spindash (unchanged from Sonic)
Up-B: Spring (unchanged from Sonic)
They would be COMPLETE CLONES! Unlike Link and Young/Toon Link who have differences even in just their specials, Marth and Lucina in their hitboxes, and Pit and Dark Pit in their effects and even moves themselves, and Mario and Dr. Mario in their strength and effects. Classic Sonic would only be a smaller Sonic, which would just make him more annoying to hit than Sonic. Case closed.

The one reason to play Sonic in brawl was either because you liked Sonic or because you wanted to do the "You're too slow" taunt.
Smash 4, it's mainly so that you can make your opponent groan deeply.
Thank goodness for the playback speed feature. I put it at .75 to make this video watchable.
This was a nice, funny, and sort of silly video. I liked that Sonic was made stronger in Smash 4.
Also, here are the differences between down b and side b
Side b (Spin Dash)
-Can be shield cancelled
-Is a single hit move
-The first four frames of the hop have invincibility
-Has more knockback than down b
-Aerial side b goes straight down
-Goes pass the shield if it hits it
-The spin shot activation is slower than down b
Down B (Spin Dash Charge)
-Cannot be shield cancelled
-Is a multihit move
-Has no invincibility
-Has less knockback than side b
-Stops on shield
-Aerial version goes much more horizontal than side b (better for recovery in most situations)
-Spin shot activation is much faster than side b
-Aerial down b can be shield cancelled in the air (Brawl only, removed in Smash 4)
