      I disagree with centrist politics and ideologically would like to see equality forced by communist\socialist policy. This would be seen as a gradual change as we move from the politics of the westminster bubble and as our society naturally progresses. Labours plans to create citizens assemblies and for devolution are the first step to accomplishing that. The idea that the public would swing from a Brexit/culture war government to a far left wing one is not one based in the realities of democracy.

    "When it's politically expedient" That applies across the political spectrum, with a few honourable exceptions.
    Starmer represents the epitome of duplicity. Every move he makes is calculated . There was a time when mainstream journalism held politicians to account. I appreciate the work of Novara in this respect and I hope the time comes soon when standards are restored

    I'm from the Hodge Hill constituency, and what Aaron isn't mentioning is the BNP were gaining votes due to white majority areas in the constituency like Shard End. Where as Muslim majority wards like Small Heath (where I live) voted Labour. It's only due to Hodge Hill having Muslim wards prevented the BNP from winning.

      There are different ways to achieve a political objective. The only ones pleased that Hamas gained power in Gaza in 2006 are the present Israeli government it gave them exactly the excuse they needed to behave in the abhorrent manner they have. They wanted the Palestinians split ie West Bank and Gaza. United they would have been a Political force to be reckoned with on the World Stage divided we have this war.
      A political non violent solution is the only way forwards.

      @@TheRogueDM I get what you are saying but this is the problem with politics, you have every party that has a ism or phobia that they push out. None whatsoever are good parties and to be honest coming to think I'm just trying to pick the best out of the worsts. But at this rate labour and Tory for me will never be my vote. With how they have shown their difference between one conflict and another shows me they can have those double standards which they do with us. And allowing them to continue in power justifies their current actions and in turn to them justifies more what I'll call oppresive actions (can't think of the word) against the UK citizens. Hope that made sense I'm quite bad at conveying what I mean via text
