Hello, yes, it is possible to reduce the flow of the given filter without any problems and the noise is very low with that filter. I can't tell you what I think about the two filters, but they are certainly good filters. However, I bought a Fluval 307 and the performance is really excellent, I wouldn't change it and I can also warmly recommend it to you. In addition, the price of the Fluval Vs Sicce 200 filter is quite the same, but the flow rate is great. And with that fluval, you can adjust the flow beautifully, so there is nothing to solve. Yes, the filter works well and after a year it hasn't leaked anywhere. It is quiet and cleans well. I can definitely recommend this filter. The only thing I can criticize is the plastic outlet and suction part over the edge of the aquarium, which gets clogged with dirt inside and reduces the performance a little. Otherwise, a good filter for a max 80 l aquarium.
