    That gasket is on wrong backwards large cooling ports should be up front.

      I'm not an expert and I haven't done this yet, but I've seen a couple other videos on replacing ford head gaskets and each one has said its vitally important to make sure those openings are on the back, just like the guy said in this video said. It has to do with allowing coolant to circulate to the back of the engine, otherwise you'll experience extreme overheating. If you have other information, I'd really like to hear it and see the source, because I'll be doing this very soon and dont want to mess it up.

      yea what ive heard everyone say is that the cooling parts should be to the back of the engine

      Need to change this myself soon on my Fairlane 63 with a 302. and intake gasket while im at it. the engine gets hot quick and water disepears

      No no no. Either You are a troll, or evil. The holes MUST be rear, fortunately most gaskets have "front" printed on them so nobody installs holes front.
